Yay or Nay: Kat Von D Goes Blonde

Kat Von D showed up at the Teen Choice Awards with a new blonde do. Honestly, I'm not sure which disturbs me more that she was at the Teen Choice Awards or that she's now blonde. Her hair looks somewhat like a wig though and not a color job? I prefer Kat as a brunette myself but I will say, stringy, straw-looking hair aside, the blonde locks look good but we my need a little conditioner because at the moment it has a too long in the fryer look about it!

Proper Teen Choice attire?

What do you think?

Kat Von D as a blonde?

Yay or Nay: Urban Decay Facial Primers

The shiz has hit the fan and Urban Decay's Fall Collection for 2009 is making it's early guest starring appearance on Urban Decay's website. It'll be a month before Sephora gets the entire collection but UD has it all in stock and ready for your purchasing pleasure.

The collection is pretty special or at least I think it is and plenty of it has the potential for greatness, even if I have yet to try any of it.

I think the primers are probably thee most exciting item in the collection. What do you think?

Two primers, two different fixes. Are Urban Decay Facial Primers a Yay or a Nay for you? Will you indulge?

Jump ahead to hear my yayin' or nayin'!

Obviously doesn't take a rocket scienctist to figure I'm drugged up, shuga shirrup hyped over not one but two facial primers (their is an ode to Mags in there somewhere!).

I guess I shouldn't be that hyped over primers as I'm virtually poreless. Yes, I'm blessed. But it's true I have no pores but I do have dry skin, honestly I'd rather be riddled with large pores than sport flaky dry skin yak! So I suppose primers aren't exciting for the likes of me.

But oh no no....I NEED these primers.

Just think about the success and cult following that Urban Decay Primer Potion has. Imagine a company that gave birth to the holy grail of all eye primers that goes out and creates a facial primer. Honestly, can they go wrong with this?

I doubt it.

So....

Yay or Nay?

BIG yay! I have an ickle little feeling in the pit of my stomach that Urban Decay Facial Primers are going to be a big yay!

Yay or Nay: Bare Escentuals Matte Foundation

Good morning lovies! Hope everyone is enjoying the fine weather. It's not quite Summer but it's getting warmer that's for sure.

Speaking of warm weather that sure does bring oily skin out to play doesn't it? Bare Escentuals is introducing a matte finish mineral foundation which could prove to be great news for the lovers of BE.

So Bare Escentuals Matte Mineral Foundation Yay or Nay?

Share your thoughts in the comment box and take the jump to see what I think!

Love BE do not love BE foundation. Personally I'd avoid it because BE foundation makes me itchy anyway. Secondly, I'd avoid it because a matte finish on my dry skin, not good to say the least. Even in the warmer weather when I'm having a bit of an oily skin spell I wouldn't indulge in a matte finish, just doesn't work for me at all.

How about you?

Let's here from the BE lovers, what's your take?

Yay or Nay: MAC Eye Shadows

This is always an interesting topic to Muse about. MAC Eye Shadow that is. Are MAC Eye Shadows a Yay or a Nay for you?

Click ahead to find out if I'm yayin' or nayin'!

I always find it interesting when people tell me they can do without MAC shadow. I happen to fall into the Yay crowd when speaking of MAC and eye shadow. I like the price, I like the variety, and I like the color payoff. Not alot to hate here. Call me a MAC groupie but if anything MAC does shadow right. I know occasionally it can get a tad repetitious after collecting a while and all the colors begin to run into each other after a while but I can honestly say I'm always delighted when I find an interesting, unique shade and I do think many shades are unique and different.

Yay it is for me!

Yay or Nay: Harajuku Lovers Fragrance

By now you probably tried out the Harajuku Lovers Fragrance Collection by either spritzing down in store, getting a sample or two somewhere, or purchasing some for your very self!

Today's Yay or Nay is all about Harajuku Lovers Fragrance! Did you love 'em? Are Harajuku Lovers Fragrance a yay or a nay for you?

Share it with me and click below for my reply!

The Muse was pretty in love with the entire line up of Harajuku Lovers Fragrance so it's a solid yay for me. I read a few lame-o reviews and was feeling kinda shocked since I really enjoyed the scents, packaging, and general feel of the product. I thought all the blends were really unique and fun plus the packaging was too cutes! So def a yay for me! I loved Harajuku Lovers Fragrance!

Yay or Nay: Victoria's Secret Cosmetics

The Muse is for the most part a supporting fan of Victoria's Secret Cosmetics. She's wondering what you think of their cosmetic line up?

Is Victoria's Secret a Yay or Nay for you?

Find out what I think after the jump!

I generally like almost all of the Limited Edition Collections that Victoria's Secret puts out. Most of the regular catalog items aren't particularly wonderful but they seem to go the extra mile with LE products. Most LE items are pretty special packaging wise and quality wise. Which is why I always pick up the LE items.

So my answer? Yay and Nay for this Muse!

Nay on the regular boring line up...not so great packaging wise, not really pigmented enough to oh and ah over, and just nothing special to get hyped about. A bit expensive too for the quality you get.

Yay on the LE items! Def special! Color payoff is normally quite good, packaging is unique and pretty, and quality is generally quite good.

Yay or Nay: Steam Cream

By now you've probably indulged in your own pot of Steam Cream or not....after reading the Muse's wonky rave and review about it she's making the big assumption that she's convinced you that life can't go on without a few pots of Steam Cream hanging around your washroom, your vanity, and at your desk.

Miss my review?

Blast you! I guess I forgive you, click here to read it!

Question is, if you did indulge, is Steam Cream a Yay or a Nay for you?

Jump ahead to see what I think!

Cute tins? Check! Fast absorbing? Check! Works on my face, body, hands, and everywhere else in between? Check, check, check!

What isn't to love about this multitasking demon of a cream that softens my skin and makes it all pretty again? Multitasking as both a facial and a body cream this amazing moisturizer sinks in on contact and is possibly thee fastest absorbing cream I've ever used in my life.

With good for you ingredients and a soothing, healing blend, Steam Cream has been a fast favorite this past Winter and a life saver for my dry skin.

So of course, it's most definately, a big yay!

How about you?

Steam Cream must have winged it's way to your side of the world by now.

Yay or Nay: Benefit Posietint

For the longest time I thought that the earth revolved around Benetint! I think this was mostly due to the fact that I was such a n00b to makeup plus it was probably one of the first of it's kind on the market as stains hadn't quite reached the pinnacle they are now at in cosmetic land.

Recently, I fell hard for Benefit Posietint and it's since taken up resident of revolving around the Muse's planet.

Benefit Posietint is thee perfect shade of pink. Flushing cheeks with beautiful health this slick bottle of joy is sure to please anyone that wants a quick and simple look that's both natural and pretty!

From first use I fell deeply in love with Posietint and haven't looked back since. I've since proclaimed over and over again how superior it is over it's sibling, Benetint.

For me Benefit Posietint is a big Yay!

Yay or Nay: Benefit Coralista

Benefit Coralista has been out quite a while now so I'm sure many of you have either picked it up or had a swatch and a play at your local Sephora or counter. The question today is was Benefit Coralista a Yay or a Nay for you?

Jump ahead to see if the Muse was Yayin' or Nayin' it (as if you don't already know my answer)!

The sweet smell of tropical peach, a pigmented blushing powder that's a cross between peach and coral, and great packaging? Obviously it's a Yay for this Muse!

I absolutely adore this stuff and think it's probably one of the best Benefit Powders released to date, believe me I know as I've tried 'em all!

Yay or Nay: Demeter Fragrance Library

Demeter Fragrance Library is a vast un-ending array of unique fragrances that are sure to please just about everyone but are they a Yay or a Nay?

Jump ahead to tell me your version of the story!

Tricky, tricky, tricky is the question today! It's so difficult for the Muse to figure out if she's on the yay team or the nay team when it comes to Demeter Fragrance Library.

One of the perks of Demeter is the ridiculous amount of unique blends available and how much product they put out over the course of the year. Tons and tons of LE blends are added daily some of which are borderline strange, unique, and terribly fun! Think Playdoh, Lobster, and Dirt for example!

As fun and fabulous Demeter is one minor problem plagues the brand which would be the linger of each EDT. The scents are all extremely fun but some suffer from a rather short burst of fragrance that lasts an hour if you're lucky or less if you're not so lucky. Sadly, it seems the amount of "toilette" that goes into each fragrance versus the amount of perfume oil is a pretty high ratio which means little to no scent time. My skin happens to suck these up at a crazy speed so within 30 minutes at most I'm having to reapply. However, the good news is that some are mighty strong, the Muse just wishes they all were.

So the question remains are they a Yay or a Nay?

I can't help but say I'm on the Yay team for these as the variety outweighs the formula in this case and I do so adore quirky perfumes plus they aren't terribly expensive that spraying yourself every hour on the hour won't hurt the bank too much.

Yup, it's a firm yay for me! I loves 'em! Can't help myself!

Yay or Nay: Bare Escentuals Glimmer

Count the Muse curious but she's busy a wondering. Are Bare Escentuals a Yay or a Nay with you?

Jump ahead to find out if the Muse is feeling Yay or Nay about 'em!

I imagine many would beg to differ with me and tell me how much cheaper online mineral etailers are and how much more variety I can get for less, etc...but honestly Bare Escentuals Glimmers are a big yay for me!

I have dozens and dozens of these little guys and I continue to buy more as they release shades. I can find them on E-bay for really good prices plus pigmentation is awesome and quality is fantastic. Yes, mineral etailers definately have competitive pricing and variety but I haven't met a mineral yet that's as good as a Bare Escentuals Glimmer.

Big Yay for me!
