Want It: Lush Oatifix Fresh Face Mask

Although I'm the first one to admit that my beloved Lush does have some products that don't work.....

Ahem....Lush Fresh Face Mask.

No worky.

I've tried them all and I honestly never see incredible results after use. You'd think with all those good for you bits inside that your face would be glowing after use, not so much.

But that doesn't stop me from wanting the brand new Lush Oatifix Fresh Face Mask. It's too tempting with it's blend of fresh bananas, oatmeal, almonds, and vanilla..god my stomach is grumbling sounds good enough to eat to me!

Ground almonds exfoliating dead skin, bananas are a great nutritious treat for your skin as they soften and reduce redness. Although I don't sport redness I could get on board with some extra softness.

I'll take two thanks so much.

Available now from Lush UK and soon to follow around the rest of this world.

WANT IT: Pop Beauty Lush Blush

Pop Beauty Lush Blush was on sale a few weeks ago on ASOS. Gawd, the Muse is kicking herself for not getting it back than. She's lemming it terribly. It's such a cute little blush, I needs it in my life don't you see?

Jump ahead for a babble and more pictures.

Pop Beauty has been releasing quite a few items as of late. For some reason upon their exit from Sephora I was scared they'd pull completely out of the US but they are very much alive, kicking, and open for business on their website. Bless be as I adore the line.

The new Pop Beauty Lush Blush has captured and held my attention as of late. The cute design has a sponge top applicator (common in Japanese blushes) and a nifty little flip top lid. I admit the rather spunky little packaging tickles me most but I'm likely leaning towards the interesting shade they have entitled Cherry Blossom (deep rosy red shade) as well.

The blush comes in three shades which are Peach Blossom (apricot), Cherry Blossom (rosy red), and Rose Blossom (pink). For the most part I'm leaning towards Cherry Blossom at the moment. My hand is just about ready to hit that submit button....somebody stop me please?

Available for $18.50 now from www.popbeauty.co.uk

WANT IT: Lush Vanilla Scoop

Ahhh it's still quite Summer and a scoop of vanilla is always in order. Indulge in a Lush Vanilla Scoop and snag a steal and a deal!

Scoop this scoop by taking the jump!

Lush UK Mail Order has a brand new set entitled Vanilla Scoop which is £39.95 and includes all of the following vanill-lish goodies!

  • Lush Vanilla Puff Dusting Powder
  • Vanillary Perfume
  • Vanilla Dee-Lite Body Lotion
  • Vanilla Fountain Bath Bomb

The items come to £45 regularly so you'll be saving about £5 on the purchase of the set.

Lush UK does ship to the states however since this contains the perfume I'm unsure if they will ship it. Lush used to ship perfumes abroad but they ran into a few probs with items breaking and the likes and didn't do perfume shipping during forum parties so I'm unsure whether they do or do not as of now since many of my orders haven't included perfumes as of late.

I'm going to attempt to purchase one of these as I haven't tried the dusting powder as of yet and I'm out of lotion plus I can always use a stock up on the perfume and bath bomb. I'll let you know how it goes.

It's a rather nice little package of vanilla treats if you're a lover.

Available now from Lush UK.

WANTS IT: Urban Decay Book of Shadows Volume II

You'd think after creating something so incredibly good like the Book of Shadows that Urban Decay didn't have any tricks up it's sleeves. Honestly, what could possibly top that incredible palette? I know when I got mine I was doing back flips across my foyer as it was too gorgeous for mere words.

Well....

Urban Decay decided to top that.

Jump ahead for the deets!

Urban Decay Book of Shadows Volume 2 this is where it's at baby. If the original Urban Decay Book of Shadows was incredibly awesome this palette falls into the "oh my god" amazing category. With two 24/7 Eye Pencils, Primer Potion, and 8 brand new, limited edition shades of shadow exclusive to this palette obviously Urban Decay has topped the original Book of Shadows with a great new palette, WANT!

Inside you'll find existing Urban Decay Eye Shadow favorites Sellout, Gunmetal, Ectasty, Midnight Cowboy Rides Again, Twice Baked, Half Baked, Flipside, and YDK.

But the real killer?

The new LE shades!

You'll get AC/DC (deep eggplant shimmer), Nylon (champagne sparkler), Mushroom (taupey-gunmetal), Sphynx (pink sparkle/shimmer), Jinx (bright blue shimmer), Homegrown (bright green shimmer), Misdemeanor (deep teal sparkle), and Perversion (matte black).

The palette is covered in pearly white with a purple foil design! It flips open to reveal a generous mirror framed in exotic peacock feathers. Hiding behind the secret doors is a mini look book. Incredible! The Muse thinks the mini look book is probably one of the greatest things about the palette as it's a full photo booklet containing photos of Urban Decay's model, Daniela, using the palette in various looks. I'm always looking for inspiration when creating a look and this book will make it a snap!

Need I say more?

It's been topped!

Urban Decay Book of Shadows Volume II the Muse WANTS IT!

WANT IT: La Mer The Radiant Concealer

Ok, so yes I do have an obsession with quality concealer. I've tried so many concealers over the course of the year it's grown from a simple obsession to a rather sick, twisted NEED to try something new. I'm always on the hunt for thee perfect concealer, the concealer that will change my life, the concealer that will end my woes of dark circles and puffy eyes forever.

Could that concealer be the new La Mer The Radiant Concealer?

At $65 this has to be the concealer that will create flawless coverage under my eyes, erase my dark circles, conceal my puffy eyes, erase my fine lines....yes...this one has to be it.

Available in three shades the treatment cream concealer optically corrects dark circles and blemishes to create a flawless finish. It instantly evens out the skin appearance while adding radiance. Gemstones capture light energy to camouflage dark circles and precious marine plant extracts help to reduce the appearance of under eye puffiness by the way it also has an SPF 25.

I'm not worthy La Mer.

I need this in my life, like now, like yesterday.

Expect some sort of review soon as I can't control the need to snag me some of this. My excitement knows no bounds.

Available now from La Mer.

Want It: 100% Pure Tinted Moisturizer

As Summer draws to a close I guess I shouldn't worry about the need for tinted moisturizer but I can't resist the allure of 100% Pure Tinted Moisturizer.

With it's deeply pigmented formula, SPF 20, and good for you ingredients you can see why I'm wanting it. The moisturizer is supposedly a sheer to medium coverage but as I've tried 100% Pure cosmetics prior to this and I'll place my bets on it being amazingly pigmented and also if the reviews are anything to go that might just be the case.

Although an SPF of 20 is somewhat low I still fine the product intriguing especially since the humidity today is yelling at me for lighter makeup wearin'!

100% Pure Tinted Moisturizer is available at QVC, Item Number A82300 for $37.

Wants It: Temptu Retouch Blush and Temptu Retouch Blush

So I've been kinda drooling over the new Temptu Airbrush System, not alot mind you just a little...like maybe enough to plop it into my Sephora cart and just kinda stare at it in awe....nothing too serious I promise. I've only ever played with the idea of hitting submit that probably won't happen though...maybe...kinda....sorta....

While I'm busying trying to figure out if I want to unleash $200 or more dollars on my face I came across the new Temptu Retouch Blush and Foundation.

Ohhhhh I WANTS 'em!

Check it after the jump.

I swear they make these things with the Muse in mind so I can get all hyper and chase my tail around the room in fits of excitement over new makeups. The Temptu Retouch Blush kinda reminds me of the By Terry line but about $10 or more dollars cheaper.

The blush supposedly delivers an airbrush quality finish to cheeks with dewy color. It's a lightweight formula with a built-in brush for easy, peasy, 1, 2, 3-asy application. The colors all look quite exciting for a pinched cheek look. I'm normally not one to get excited about cream or liquid blush but I'm feelin' the love here.

Temptu Retouch Foundation is the same style click pen applicator with built in brush. It's available in an extensive collection of colors so you should be able to find at least one suitable tone. I'm a big fan of this style packaging for foundation application so I'm on this like white on rice.

The Temptu Retouch Foundation is $48 and the Retouch Blush is $35.

I wants them both please.

The Muse feels her hand wandering to that submit button! Somebody stop me please.

Wants It: Cover FX Conceal FX Camouflage Concealer

The Muse is thinking if anyone knows how to create a concealer it would be a company that makes it their business to flawlessly cover a girl daily

Cover FX Conceal FX Camouflage Concealer? Yea...gotta be good!

Jump for it!

Cover FX puts out a line of richly pigmented foundations to create a flawless canvas on our faces. Striving for perfection in ever product they create is part of what they do so why not introduce a concealer to hide and conceal flaws...where you been all my life Conceal FX?

Conceal FX Camouflage Concealer ($25) is a lightweight, smooth, velvet finish concealer with long lasting, stay put coverage that's water resistant. I'm thinking my eyes will love you. Emollients soften delicate skin to ease blendability and the formula is a hi-def one too making it all camera friendly....yes well we've already established that hi-def makeup probably isn't really needed in everday life but hey I'm not fighting it...please make me as perfect as possible? K, thanks!

As for me, I'm concealer queen so I'll be trying it and letting you know the deets.

WANT IT: Philosophy The Sweet Shoppe

By now I imagine I sound like a broken record. But..ahem...allow me to repeat myself for the umpteenth time and mention that Philosophy continues to impress me with it's 3-in-1 Shower Gel range.

I've always been a mad fan for Philosophy Shower Gels but even as a fan I confess disappointment over a few that didn't quite smell like their namesakes. Ok, I admit some were down right wrong on many levels.

But over the course of a year and a half or so Philosophy has beaten out shower gel after shower gel that impresses and tops each past release. The scents are creative, true to their namesakes, and delicious. Actually if I think about it they are exactly what I originally hoped and wanted from Philosophy but somehow was disappointed when it didn't turn out as such.

Why you must ask am I going on about this now?

Well, Philosophy has three brand new scents available at Sephora and I suspect more will follow soon for Fall.

Click it and learn what they are and why I'm excited!

Indeed I'm not averse to a quick stop at The Sweet Shoppe, particularly Philosophy's Sweet Shoppe.

Now available and brand new are the Philosophy The Sweet Shoppe Set that includes Watermelon, Little Fishy, and Bubblegum Scented 3-in-1 Shower Gel ($30). Although I find myself unexcited about the actual set (I prefer the large size shower gel bottles) I am excited about the scents. Little Fishy? I adore the scent of Swedish Fish candy! Bubblegum? Another fond favorite! And Watermelon too? Be still my beating heart.

I hope that Philosophy will extend these scents to the bigger bottles if not I shall indulge in the set but I'll keep my eyes peeled for a larger size.

Also available is the Philosophy The Sweet Shoppe Lip Shine Duo ($20) which includes Watermelon and Bubble Gum flavored glosses! Sweet! What happened to Little Fishy though? Sob!

Whatever your opinion of Philosophy you can't deny the cuteness behind these sets!

Want!

Anyone else excited?

Smashbox Fall Collection 2009: Smashbox Reign Eye Shadow Palette

What is it with these incredible Fall Collections? I dunno why and I dunno how but I was thinking I wouldn't be impressed this Fall but man, oh man it's one great thing after the next lately!

Check out Smashbox Reign Eye Shadow Palette:

Click for the deets!

Smashbox Reign Eye Shadow Palette is a mix of shimmery and matte shades enclosed in a beautiful leather case. The shadows are baked and in a trio however they are split as a duo which means you're getting six shades of shadow to work with. Quite interesting really. The palette is available in two shade selections, Majesty and Monarch.

Majesty seems the smoker, Fall-ish of the two with shades of peach champagne, plum burgundy, and black. Where as Monarch is the lighter, friendly palette with shades of light gold, bronze, and taupe.

The Smashbox Reign Collection is inspired by the ruling era of the English Tudors—an imperial court mired in salacious scandal and royal indulgence. The pieces in the collection are all royally themed in nature. I just say they are simply beautiful.

Both palettes look delicious and are on my Fall wishy list.

What do you think?

Worthy of a haul?

Wants It: Sonia Kashuk Super Sheer Liquid Tint

Baby I'm a want you and Baby I'm a possible need you!

Holy awesomeness Batman! Sonia Kashuk Super Sheer Liquid Tint looks like the shiz for gorgeous blushing cheeks this Summer!

Check it!

Just heard the word these are part of the Sonia Kashuk Spring Collection over at Target. Haven't seen 'em in Target yet...hello are we late much? But word on the street is to check around and they may pop up somewhere. The Muse has decided she absolutely must have them at all costs. How cool is a liquid tint in a pump bottle? Ok, maybe I'm the only nut job excited about the prospects here. Available in 3 Shades for I believe $9.99 each...yes they must all be mine so we can take over the universe together.

Don't bother looking online, nada on Target's website. I just called my best mate Jai just in case he was in the vicinity of a Target, one never knows with Jai he hangs out in unusual locations after I drop him home at night, but he's not near a Target darn. He is at Barnes and Noble though anyone need books? I suspect he's picking up hot guys there? Shrug, I dunno he says hot guys hang out at B&N.

I'm coming to get you liquid tint and we shall rule the Summer with blushing cheeks!

Anyone try yet?

Loving 'em?

Don't make me too jealous k?

With a $45 price tag this isn't the cheapest concealer around but I've heard such incredible things about it my lemming is strong to say the least. With a cooling effect this concealer conceals under eyes circles with a moisturizing formula and a light blue color. I've actually waxed poetry prior to this about how blue does very well at eliminating darker circles and shadows. Count me curious on this. Wants it, Needs it, Why haven't I picked it up yet?

Must go gets me some soon!

Anyone try?

Love?

Want It: Avon Glazewear Liquid Lip Color in Coral Beat

I'm trying to recall, don't interupt my flow here, if I ever tried Avon Glazewear. I think I have but maybe not?

Anyway the point is I really wants Avon Glazewear Liquid Lip Color in the newest shade, Coral Beat!

Check it after the jump!

Avon says that Coral Beauty is the color I should be wearing this Summer and I couldn't agree more. Loving all over this flattering shade of coral with a kiss of orange! Likey! Plus it's $6 bucks (or $1.99 with two other select purchases), seriously can I really go wrong for that price? If it doesn't work out I won't feel nearly as guilty if I dished out $20 or more right?

Yes, I think I shall make Coral Beat mine soon.

Anyone likey?

WANT IT: Bobbi Brown Nautical Collection Pastel Eye Palette

We've already gotten our fair share of the Bobbi Brown Nautical Collection this year but that hasn't stopped me from loving all over the Bobbi Brown Nautical Collection Pastel Eye Palette.

Released in both Asia and Europe this gorgeous little palette shouts summer fun with shimmering baby blues, grays, buttery yellow, and a fair share of pink. At one time I considered myself a big fan of pastels but lately I feel like they look washed up on me however my mind can be changed when presented with a pretty little palette such as this.

No news of when or if it might release state side but we can all drool away happily and hope!

WANT IT: Revlon Super Luxurious Lipstick

Here's something to get excited about. Check it.

I was recently reading the latest issue of W magazine, for the interesting articles of course and not just to peep at Bruce Willis's new wife's boobs, I'd never do that.

Anyway, I was reading happily away and came across an ad for Revlon Super Luxurious Lipstick.

Click to hear a babble or two about boobs and lipstick.

The advertisement has what's her name, wow her name escapes me right now, ummmmmm JESSICA ALBA! Phew, sorry brain fart. Right o, Jessica Alba was wearing the lipstick but that's not what's exciting. It was the shade. Whoa. Likey! She was wearing Revlon Super Luxurious Lipstick in Spicy Cinnamon and it screamed Fall to me. I got so excited I was willing to drop Emma Heming's boobs so I could go out to the drugstore and see if they had some of this shade in stock, loves it! Not the boobs, the lipstick.

Anyone see this ad?

Anyone have the shade?

The Muse wants it in her life please.
