Although the Muse wasn't the biggest supporter or fan of the MAC Hello Kitty Collection she does so admit that one of thee best items released with the collection were the awesome shades of MAC Tinted Lip Conditioner released with the color story!

Since I purchased MAC Tinted Lip Condition in Popster it hasn't seen the outside of my purse. I carry it everywhere! It's the perfect combo of pink, peach, and coral. Such a warm lovely shade that brightens up any of my looks and is perfect for on the go touch ups!






One rant....

Can we please have it in a stick? I hate sticking my fingers in the pot! Aside from that Popster isn't leaving my purse anytime soon!

Inside my purse is a Clean Fun Roll On Perfume Oil that I never leave home without!

The Muse happens to be the biggest fan Clean Perfume probably ever had but she's so mad at them for never bringing Clean Fun out in EDP format. Oh my god it's the awesome. I can't believe they never thought to make it into a perfume but just left it as an oil!

How they managed to bottle up the fresh scent of a shower with super fun, flirty blast of citrus is beyond me but that's exactly what it reminds me of. A cross between "clean", "fruity", and "sweet". It's heaven. Notes of Green Tangerine, Grapefruit, Orange and Limes create a wonderful wake me up fragrance that lives up to it's name, "Fun!"

I tote Clean Fun around with me everywhere and use it as a quick touch up when my perfume has long since worn away. It's the perfect perfume oil for nights I am leaving from work and heading out with friends for dinner, a movie, or just to hang out. It wakes up me, keeps people asking me, "what are you wearing?", and puts me in good spirits!

The Muse has a badger in her purse and thinks you should too!

Oh, not a real badger of course but a tin of Badger Balm Lip and Skin Balm!


I'm still on my Badger Balm kick so you'll have to listen to a few more raves about lovely badgers today. Ok? Ok.

Badger Balm Lip Balm is available in six yummie flavors, my fav happens to be Tangerine Breeze which kinda tastes like biting into an orange skin. You ever bite into the skin of an orange so you can start to peel it and get that slightly bitter sweet taste of the skin? That's exactly what Tangerine Breeze tastes like! It's a tiny bit bitter, a little bit sweet, and all about the citrus taste of a yummie Tangerine!







Badger Balm Lip Balm is a little multitasking demon as you can use it on lips and skin. I tote mine around to quench my lips with however if you want you can purchase an extra tin to use on rough elbows, knees, hands, cuticles, anywhere your skin needs a little extra moisture!

Made with virgin olive oil, beeswax, aloe vera, rosehip, and seabuckthorn, Badger Balms are certified Organic and good for you!

My lips are nice and soft after use and stay moist all day long when I'm feeling to lazy to reapply my gloss or lipstick. The tin is tiny but packs alot of product for the price. I have an extra tin of Tangerine Breeze that I use on my legs in the Summer to smooth them up and make them nice and short ready!

In the Muse's Purse: Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm

The Muse likes the bees.

She thinks their kinda cute with there fuzzy little butts and yellow and black coat. Be serious...when you see one of those big old yellow bumble bees floating around a flower dontcha just want to pet him? He's all fuzzy and hairy and cutes! But of course chances are he'll stick you with his stinger given half the chance so best not go around petting bees.


You know you can love the bees just for the simple fact that they make beeswax for us! Beeswax is a natural wax made by those fuzzy little bees in the cell walls of the honeycombs. This natural emulsifier is used in cosmetics...and happens to be a main ingredient for one of the items in The Muse's Purse, Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm!

I found this adorable silver lipstick holder that's shaped like a heart in a cute little Asian shop a year or two ago. I slip the lipstick I'm wearing that day inside and flip it open whenever I need a touch up as the lid holds a mirror as well!

You know my mum thinks that the solution to life, the universe, and everything is bottled up in a jar of Vicks Vaporub.


For serious.

Anything that ails me can normally be solved by rubbing myself with Vicks Vaporub. I dunno, that's what my mother told me.

If I have a cold rub some Vicks on my chest, if I'm coughing rub some Vicks on my chest, if I have a sore throat rub some Vicks on my chest....what can I say my mum is either a nutter or kickin' it old skool. So I do admit that she has a point here. Welcome to a new category entitled "In the Muse's Purse"! I thought this would be a kinda fun way of seeing what I'm toting around in my purse at the moment.

Omg this is probably so corny but I'm utterly in love with single packs of Kleenex Aroma Tissues.

I picked these up at Harmon's a few weeks ago and they have every since made a guest starring appearance in my bag. Considering my nose is always stuffy in the Winter it's ideal to have a single package of small tissues around for cases of the sniffles or even for blotting my lipstick.


What's so special about a package of tissues?

Well...they are actually aroma tissues...cool right? What's that mean? It means they are scented with Strawberry, Mint, and Nectarine. Teehee! Cool right? What? Sue me, the little things make a Muse happy.

I kinda get a kick out of Strawberry scented tissues! I just thought these were too cute and a nice little item to tote around in my bag. Who wants boring old tissues when they can have Minty, Strawberry, or Nectarine scented ones!
