Product Musings: Clio Art Blusher

With it's arty packaging and beautiful shade selection Clio Art Blusher is one of my favorite blushes!


I've reviewed Clio Art Blushes before but today I thought I'd muse some about it!

There is something so gorgeous about Clio Blush, well, that's not true really. If I'm honest I'd say there is something so gorgeous about marbleized products in general! Baked products are so pretty! All those pretty veins of color! Clio Blush is such a beautiful piece of makeup art hence it's packaging I guess right? Plus it's so reasonably priced in Korea for such a high end cosmetic! Packaging, color selection, and a soft fluffy brush are only some of the things that make Clio Art Blusher a winner with the Muse!

Sasa does sell Clio Blush at not too bad a price if you're interested!

I always get rather excited when I see Clio releasing new items as they don't do so nearly enough!

Releasing a brand new base collection along with a point collection offers many options this season for perfecting skin and creating a colorful Spring look!

Much of the new base collection embraces anti-aging with Q10 to help promote fresher, rejuvenated skin.

Clio Collagen Essence Foundation firms and lifts skin.


Clio Collagen Essence Concealer firms and lifts skin under the eyes while concealing fine lines and dark circles.

Quite a nice selection of goodies from Clio for Spring 2009 me thinks. I already have a great deal of the single shadows from Clio and I'm absolutely loving the idea of trio. The base makeup all looks rather good as well particularly the concealer.

Although none of this is available within the US keep your eyes peeled and check up on Sasa as sooner or later the collection is available...a little late..but better late than not at all!

Longing for a Clio Update

One of my fav brands in the cosmetic world is a little Korean brand that goes by the name Clio (Actually it's an Italian brand thats sold exclusively in Korea! Go firgure!).

Clio hasn't updated it's site since it's Fall 2007 Purple Collection and I'm longing rather badly (and hopeful) for a Spring Collection of some kind!

I thought I'd drag you all into my melancholy and let you relive some of my old Clio posts!

Clio Blushes

You might remember a few months ago I had gotten some Clio Eyeshadows that I really liked.

I was dead curious about the entire line so I googled a little and came across the website for Clio. Upon viewing the website I fell in love with just about everything the line offers as the items are so damn cute!

Of course when it's cute that normally means it's some sort of Asian cosmetic that the Muse will have a hard time getting her hands on! *sad sigh*

Lucky enough the Muse happens to have friends in high places (sort of, kinda) and she ended up nabbing two of the Clio Blushes that were extremely difficult to locate here in the US!

I must say these are everything the Muse wants in a MAC Skinfinish! They are silky, smooth, and pigmented! MAC Skinfinish are amazing but I'd love a bit more color to some of them, that, is in fact, where Clio picks up the bag. Clio Blushes give a gorgeous wash of color on the cheeks that looks amazingly natural and just downright pretty! The brushes they come with are very soft, no shedding, and nicely rounded and large for good coverage!

I ended up getting two of these FINE blushes and I wish I could have gotten the other colors! If you have access do pick up a few of these as they are fantastic!

I love the Clio eyeshadows I've purchased prior to this but I must say they out did themselves on the blushes!

Bravo!

Now..solving the problem of locating Clio stateside...hmmmmmmm..........
