Beauty Bytes: Victoria Beckham's Spiky Crop Cut: Yay or Nay?

I'm super busy this morning trying to get a ton of things cleared off my desk! Yak! I have a slew of comments to get through and will do so shortly, promise!

How are you this dull Tuesday? Looks like a storm is brewing outside my office window and I wish I could just go back to bed!

I'll leave you with a little mid-morning Beauty Byte from the Muse's mates at FabSugarUK!

Victoria Beckham is sporting an interesting new spiky cropped hair do and FabSugarUK has the photos to prove it!

Click on over and have a peek!

I love it! It makes her look younger and contours her face quite wonderfully. Looks like she's copying Katie this time instead of the other way around!

Whatta ya think?

Love it?

Hate it?

Tell the Muse! Curious what you think!

Oh my god, I'm green with envy that the Muse's lovely mate Zara from Kiss and Makeup has gotten a chance to play around with Givenchy's new Phenomen'eyes Mascara! The Muse has indulged in some of the Givenchy Dancy Collection for Fall 2008 but she wanted to check out Givenchy's newest mascara in store to get a feel for it!

After reading Kiss and Makeup's review I know I NEED it now! Killer long lashes...the Muse likey!

I'll be indulging for sure after seeing the length of Zara's lashes after using Phenomen'eyes! You have to see it to believe so head on over to Kiss and Makeup for today's Beauty Byte to read the review and see the photos for yourself!

Hello World!

How was your weekend?

The Muse is not so bright eyed and bushy tailed this very hot, humid morning! Yawn!

I have a slew of comments to get through this morning! I promise to get to each and everyone as the day progresses today. I was happy to read your excitement over the new Bare Escentuals Rocker Eye Kit. It truly is a fab kit!

I'm a little behind in posts this morning but stop back later this evening for a full round up of new posts and reviews! I have a few items up my sleeve for today including a review of Jelly Pong Pong's new Lip Cushion which is currently topping my favorite list!

My Tivo decided to commit suicide last week. The hard drive completely shot out which totally made me want to throw it out the window. This is about the 4th time the HD has gone on my Tivo. It seems to have a knack for happening every two years or so. Truly it peeves the holy hell out of me but I am grateful it didn't happen during Fall prime season. While I was waiting for the new drive kit I ordered to replace the dead one my sister was kind enough to do season passes for my must watch Summer TV list. This morning around 1 am I finally got around to sitting down to watch Doctor Who and crack open my Tivo with a screw driver to replace the drive. Sadly, I didn't get around to doing the surgery since I was absolutely riveted by the good Doctor yet again!

David was in top form this week and I think this week's episode was a rather marvelous intro for Davros to make his big appearance. I'm excited to see him and aside from the Master he's one of my all time favorite villains. I haven't seen the character since the 80's so I'm looking forward to seeing how he evovled. I found myself pulling out Genesis of the Daleks last night but stopped myself as the hour was growing rather late. Although I hate to say it I'm loving how Catherine Tate has portrayed Donna Noble. I wasn't her biggest supporter when she boarded the Tardis this season but I am routing for her in a major way as the season closes, she's really stepped up to the plate. Although Rose kept the Doctor's dark side at bay I find myself considering how much better a job Donna did of it almost in a motherly way.

Anyway I imagine you don't want to listen to my babblings about the Doctor and I can go on for ages if I don't stop myself right now.

Doctor Who is very English and I'll tell you who else is quite English, the girls at Kiss and Makeup.

Have you been to visit them today? Zara, the Muse's very favorite editor at Kiss and Makeup, had the chance to play around with Urban Decay's Book of Shadows Palette. Although we won't get to see this gorgeous palette until October you can visit with Zara and see close up shots of this killer palette!

Right now we can all sigh in absolute envy and jealously that Zara's playing around with this gorgeous palette while we have to wait months to see it!

So allow your Muse, if I may, to present to you this week's Beauty Byte and direct you over to Kiss and Makeup's gorgeous site to have a first look at Urban Decay's Book of Shadows! Click!

I love it.

I want it.
