The Stila Holiday Collection 2009 features four limited edition sets that bring together old favorites with new offerings making Stila Holiday 2009 as unique as a snowflake.

Stila Kitten Set ($18) Sephora Exclusive
The set features Stila Kitten Eye Shadow and a brand new Stila Kitten Lip Glaze.

I already have Kitten but I'm curious what they mean when they say a brand new lip glaze hmmm...better than the one I already have?

Stila Mini Lip Glaze Set ($25)
Includes eight shades of Stila Lip Glaze four of which are brand new, limited edition shades. LE Colors are Pinkle Twinkle, Marmalade, Candy, and Plum Fairy, Old Favorite Colors are Starfruit, Kitten, Cranberry, and Blackberry.

I normally pick this set up for myself almost every year plus a few as stocking suffers, looking forward to seeing the new shades and snagging one as it's a really good deal.

Stila 24K Luxe Lip Gloss Collection ($30)
Includes many of the shades released this Summer which are Radiant Sunset, Precious Coral, Golden Charm, and Vintage Merlot. This set is exclusive to Anthropologie.

I'm actually very excited about this as I simply adored these glosses so anyone that missed them it's a good excuse the grab them now in a set.

Stila Smudge Pot Set ($32)
Includes Kitten, Black, and brand new shade Starry Night with a mini brush for application.

Again another great deal. If you haven't hauled any Stila lately or missed out on Kitten this Fall it's a good time to snag these all together at a bargain price.

I imagine that this isn't the only thing we will see from Stila this Holiday Season. We'll have to be patience for the rest but this Muse is every hopeful maybe we'll see a palette or two as well? Fingers crossed!

Barbie Loves Stila Smudge Pots

Since my original post about the new Barbie Loves Stila color collection I've come across the news that there are three shades of Barbie Loves Stila Smudge Pots releasing!

Ok, so these sound very exciting. Particularly because they contain sparkle in the mix of things.

The shades are as follows:

• Little Black Dress (black with pink sparkle)
• Purple Pumps (purple with pink shimmer)
• Cobalt Clutch (vibrant blue with intense shimmer)/li>

I don't know about you but the idea of a black liner with a bit of pink sparkle sounds incredible doesn't it? The purple and blue have a bit of a retro Farrah Fawcett feel to 'em.

All in all a rather nifty little collection of smudge pots from Stila. I know I'm hauling the black at the very least!

Anyone else as into these as I am?

Steal It: Stila High Shine Lip Color

Go and steal yourself some Stila High Shine Lip Color. It's on sale at Stila for $10 bucks and some change ($10.20 if you want to be exact about these things).

Color shade selection and variety is pretty good with the below shades available but lord knows they are bound to go quickly.


It's worthy of a pick up as it's a nice glossy, moisturizing lip color with great pigmentation. I have a few I paid full price for and $10 bucks is a steal me kinda price promise!

Stila is taking over the world once again at full speed! You'll see them appearing on HSN in September according to a recent Tweet by the company themselves.

Until than you can haul your heart out with a few items that are popping up on HSN already including Stila Barbie Cans (although these have been popping up in other locations for far cheaper).

Dudes, I so feel retro 80's after trying out Stila Lip Enamel Luxe Gloss in Giggle. Holy neon pink batman!

So you want intensely pigmented, full coverage, long wearing, super shiny, patent-leather like lips? Check it, Stila Lip Enamel Luxe Gloss offers all over the above.

Can't say I've run into a gloss as highly pigmented as these. If you've been wanting a richly pigmented gloss with that super shiny, patent-leather like shine here it is. These are some seriously incredible glosses. A simple application offers a stunning boldly lacquered finish. These are those glosses your mama told you about not wearing out in public, the ones that make your friends go, "dayummm girl!"




I tried out two shades Giggle and Ecstasy. Giggle is a glow in the dark neon pink and Ecstasy is a rich burgundy. Four other shades releasing are Joy (red), Happiness (coral), Nirvana (beige), and Euphoria (reddish brown).
















I'm not sure how I'm going to pull off wearing either Giggle or Ecstasy as they are bold as all hells but I'm going to have a ton of fun trying! Expect some pictures of the Muse trying to pull off some serious 80's pink lips shortly.

Sneak Peek: Stila Fall Collection 2009: Stila's Smitten with Kitten Collection Stila Black Cat Smudge Pot Review and Swatches

Stila calls their new Black Cat Smudge Pot a pretty black gel liner with a blend of Kitten Shimmer. I call it gorgeous.

If Stila Kitten Smudge Pot was a little too sweet for you, a little too innocent, try out a little mystery and sexiness with Stila Black Cat Smudge Pot. This black gel liner is infused with a golden sparkle that can be used as a liner, or a smudged up smoky lid color, or line lashes with it as a twinkling mascara. Releasing as part of the Stila's Smitten with Kitten Collection this liner gives a sultry look to eyes to add an edge of drama.

Black Cat is almost brown in color due to the heavy dose of golden champagne sparkle that's infused into the formula. It's very flattering on my brown eyes! The pot is large enough to line with and if you so please go right ahead and add a bit to lids and blend out for a sultry smoked out eye look.












If you already own the Stila 24K Smudge Pot from Stila's Summer Collection this year do go and indulge in Black Cat as it's considerably different. Black Cat has way more shimmer to it and is a richer shade of blackish brown when compared to the Summer release. Dare I say even prettier?


The Muse highly recommends allowing this Black Cat to slink into your Fall cosmetic wardrobe, it's delicious!

Sneak Peek: Stila Fall Collection 2009 Stila Kitten Lip Glaze Review and Swatches

If you were busy admiring my gloss in my Stila Kitten Smudge Pot post, allow me to tell you all about it. Along with it's new Fall Collection Stila is releasing a brand new lip glaze in the Kitten color.


Good news for Kitten lovers I'm sure.

First off, allow me to remind you Kitten has already been formulated in an LE gloss back in Summer 2008. No offense Stila but I really didn't dig that gloss so I'm quite happy, ecstatic actually that Stila went ahead and re-released the shade in lip glaze formula.

Stila Lip Glaze is quite nice in general. Nicely pigmented, plenty of tack and stick for a long wearing formula, and a great click pen for application. Loves it!

Adding the shade Kitten to the line is fantastic as it pairs beautifully with Kitten shadow and the likes and as I said the original gloss formula wasn't particularly great but lip glaze is by all means a beautiful gloss.








The Lip Glaze shade is considerably richer when compared to the shadow. It has a bit of pink sparkle to it but heavily golden beige for the most part. The shade is flattering for Fall without question but works well in the Summer sun as well!

If you've been longing for Kitten in gloss formula here's your chance. Stila Kitten Lip Glaze releases this September as part of the Stila Fall Collection, Stila Smitten with Kitten.

Stila roars (or maybe meows?) into Fall with brand new Kitten goodies that are sure to please. Here's a little sneak peek review at the brand new Stila Kitten Smudge Pot releasing this September at Sephora.

Stila introduced Kitten Eyeshadow way back when in 1997. I do believe this was just around the time I was getting into Stila and can recall Kitten being a fast favorite. I'm not the only one as many a fan will attest that Stila Kitten Eyeshadow is a cult fav! With it's universally flattering combination of pink and beige champagne it's one of those soft shadows that's brilliant for dressing up or down with. Many a fan are Smitten with this Kitten.

The release of Stila Smitten with Kitten Collection for Fall 2009 includes two new smudge pots and one new lipglaze.

You'll be seeing Stila Kitten Smudge Pot and Stila Kitten Lip Glaze today in separate reviews and later this week I'll be showing you Stila Black Cat Smudge Pot which is also apart of this sweet collection. Kitten has been done prior to this in a cream form and also a gloss in the Summer 2008 but it's still very nice to see it released in a smudge pot and lip glaze format.




Stila Smudge Pots are great multitasking tools to use as a shadow primer, an all over shadow color, liner, or go crazy and use on cheeks and brow bone for a pretty highlighter. Stila Kitten Smudge Pot is a gorgeous blend of pink ad beige champagne with a shimmer finish. This smudge pot is particularly great if you're not in love with the fall out from the powder format of Kitten as this blends easily onto the eye minus clean up after use.










Stila Smitten with Kitten is a Muse Approved for purchase. It'll be available from Stila in September but I suspect you'll see it towards the end of August.

If you're a lover of Kitten you'll sure to want to peep at this collection!
