MAC SugarSweet FOTD
The Muse is getting excited to get to MAC today for a good day of hauling some of the MAC SugarSweet Collection. It's all looking rather tempting doesn't it?
To celebrate I decided to use some of the items I already have from the collection paired up with a few items already in my beauty vault! Jump ahead for a peek at my SugarSweet FOTD!
I really love MAC eye shadow in Aquavert so I was happy to see it brought back. I honestly have plenty to last me so I won't be indulging in another but it's nice to see it brought back to life with the SugarSweet Collection. This morning I used Aquavert on my eyes and added some Kryolan Metallic Mint Green Eye Dust on top. I used the MAC Shadestick in Lemon Chiffon as a base and a highlighter for my brow bone.
On my lips I have a light application of MAC Lipstick in Lollipop Loving with a clear gloss on top. Lollipop Loving was released prior with Heatherette so I already had it in my collection. Lollipop Loving is a great shade but I find I have to do a light application with it otherwise it makes my full face look even fuller eep! It's a frosty pearl nude finish that just isn't as flattering on me as I'd like but a nice light layer with clear gloss works well.
To complete the look I used the new MAC MSF in Refined as a blush and a highlighter. It's pigmented enough to give my cheeks a burst of peach! Refined isn't as glittery as many MSF's I already have but the flash from my camera makes it look like shimmer overload so no worries it is quite a nice satin finish without chunky glitter.
I was going to do a Dear Cupcake look but I decided I was loving all the green so I went with that plus I thought that Refined would look better with a pop of green.
What's your ideal SugarSweet look?

Ok, I think I really need to haul Lollipop loving. That's gorgeous. I love the look on you :)
green eyeshadow suits you lovely. And I'm lemming the blush, so pretty!
Thanks dd :) did you haul heatherette b/c lollipop loving is a shade from it!
thanks very much fifi :-D
No, I have the Heatherette Trio 1 (with Cloudburst), and MAC Pink Pearl Pigment, but I didn't look at the lippies. I didn't wear lipstick for the longest time because I had problems with it, so I would rarely buy it. Now that I use a lip brush, I seem to do just fine with it. I think I want Lollypop Loving and Sweet Thing.
Such a pretty mint eyeshadow, really suits you!
aquavert looks gorgeous on you and thanks for doing one using refined. i was very undecided about it, thinking it could be too sheer but it isn't on you at all! it seems to have a bit of pink to it as well!
so pretty muse,
I'm stocking up on Aquavert when it hits here, it's my most used e/s
hey dd!
Ahhh! I see :-D You're very sensitive hun. Glad the lip brush works for you now :-D Lollipop Loving is a nice one to haul!
hi emma
thanks hun :-D
hi lyn!
thanks hun :-D My pleasure. It does have a tiny bit of pink! I find using a kabuki brush piles color on well!
hey girl!
thanks hun ;-D
It's a great one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love that shade!
I took my boy Dave to the mall with me to go to the MAC store and try on Lollipop Loving and Sweet Thing. He said Lollipop Loving made me look washed out and terrible, but he LOVED Sweet Thing on me, so I came home with Sweet Thing and another tube of mascara :P
I'm wearing Aquavert today on my lid, with Fyrinnae's Darling Misfit in my crease and Fyrinnae's Nijiro to highlight. The MA thought my eye makeup looked nice (well at least she complimented me on it) but I don't think she realized I was wearing Aquavert and I didn't spell it out for her :P
hey dd!
Yay nice hauling. Lollipop Loving is a tough one..makes me look like a wannabe Twiggy lol so I tame it with tons of gloss!
Ooo sounds like a nice combo! Sometimes MAC MA's are clueless...I'll be wearing something from a collection and they don't even realize it duh!
