Product Musings: Bare Escentuals Blush in Fruit Cocktail
I've Mused Bare Escentuals Glimmers and Eyeshadows but I never discussed Bare Escentuals Blushes. Secondary, on my list of favs from Bare Escentuals line would have to be their blushes.
Bare Escentuals has some great hidden gems in their blush collection that many people probably never took note of, one such shade would be Fruit Cocktail.
Doesn't the name just make you happy?
The shade is a popping pink that kinda reminds me of fruit cocktail. Every eat fruit cocktail in the can? All that fruit and if you're lucky a single cherry or two....I used to love the cherry when I was little, it was the highlight of the fruit cocktail! This blush reminds me of those days.
The color could be a bit loud for some but for my cheeks it's very flattering. It has that just pinched look that I favor in my blushes and if I'm feeling frisky I can even use it as an all over color wash on my eyes!
Bare Escentuals Blush in Fruit Cocktail is one to watch, the Muse loves it!
Tried it?
Love it?
What are your fav shades of BE blush?

This looks gorgeous but I must confess that I'm not loving loose powder blushers because of the dustiness and mess! I end up not using them because they're not as convenient or user friendly as pressed powders. I can deal with loose powder eyeshadows as you're only working with a small bit packed onto a small eyeshadow brush, but drop a fluffy full blusher brush into the deal and it gets me all in a whirlwind of powder!
Do you have any useful tips on dealing with loose powder blush, or do you just grin, blush and bear it??
hi beauty bitch!
I agree they are a mess...I do love ones with a nice full cap so I can tap off excess and blend color into my brush! :-D
It feels somehow wasteful too dipping and tapping off all that blush without it ever touching my face...I know what you mean about it being a pain :-D
hehe I grin blush and bear it. I find the best though is like I said a nice big cap so I can blend my brush in and tap off!
:-D
I loooove that, such a lovely color.
I have more than enough pressed blushers to keep me going until the next millenium but somehow I find it impossible to just "give up" on products despite knowing they're not right for me. It's the make-up addict in me! The fruit cocktail looks so glorious that I'm highly tempted to give loose blushers another shot.
Have you ever tried anything from Everday Minerals? Loads of girls rave about them and they have such a wide selection of blushers that I'm looking to give them a try.
I love the name! I am not sure if that color would work for me, but I'm tempted to buy it because it's so pretty!
hey dd
wait till you see the shade of pink I got from medusa :)
Oooh! I can't wait to see :)
hi bora :-D
LOL me too! I'm the same exactly way have no fear LOL! Have you tried JS loose blushes? They are way easy to apply thanks to the nice fluffy brush and plenty of room to blend around and tap off excess!
I only purchased one product from them which was an empty jar with a puff but now you got me curious must head over and look ;-D
If you need anything lmk!
