Korres Face Primer

Oh my eyes spy a brand new primer from Korres!

Since I'm such a Korres fan girl I'm all over the new Korres Face Primer. My ears perked when I heard "silicone-free", oh I love you my little silicon free primer. Creates flawless skin sans silicone indeed I'm liking this more and more.

I hate silicon based primers with a passion as they make me itchy and they pill on my face. This formula is silicon-free and is a 99% natural formula that refines skin texture while minimizing fine lines, wrinkles, and pores.

I wants it!

What do you think?

Wish list?

Hi Muse! I just ordered a Korres problem-skin relief kit from Sephora. Have you used it? It has the cinnamon cleanser and mask and a spot concealer I think. I also couldn't resist ordering the now-back-in-stock limited-edition Kat Von D mini lip gloss set. :) Good thing I just got my bonus at work LOL! (BTW I am the same Anon who posted the other day about the Kat Von D tattoo concealer. Still haven't used it but will give you the update when I do!)

Also, Muse, I meant to ask you--do you have a favorite sunscreen or three (at least SPF 30) for face and body?!! I want to try something new. I usually use Olay or similar but I think I'm ready to go a little more high-class. Also, I've used Olay Definity, which I like quite a bit, but it only has SPF 15.

I actually use a japanese brand for my spf but since it's not easy to find US side I do highly recommend Shiseido for your SPF needs. Shiseido has one that's SPF 55 which is excellent for being outdoors.

the line used to be my HG for my SPF needs :)

Hi Miss Muse. :)

This does look mighty interesting, might investigate when I get back to London (Korres is MIGHTY expensive here in Oz).

I was wondering, as I know you have an addiction to concealers, if you had tried either of the Korres ones? They look pretty good, and I love the pen style application (I'm all about lazy, lol). Any plans to review? :)

sheesh everything is overly priced in oz :P I shudder at the prices!

I haven't yet tried any korres concealers but highly interested...I'll try to get a review up for you s they do look good plus I think the pen is sold in a kit, good excuse to buy the entire kit!!!!!!!! :-D

Hey Muse! Sorry it took me so long to reply. My laptop died again for the 3rd time. Fortuately I didn't lose everything this time. But it's still a pain to fix. My husband felt pity and ordered me a new one so this shouldn't happen again. Yay! Anyway, back to the deets. I tried it for work with my Chanel natural and Bobbi Brown skin foundation and it has performed really well. The only thing I recommend is that a little really goes a long way or it will feel slightly greasy. This primer is really lightweight your skin will feel like silk. All soft and moisturized. But a little is the key here and you have to let it absorb or else your makeup will just slip to the corners of your mouth nose etc. I have combo skin and I haven't broken out yet whoohoo!!! As far as wear, I use it all day and my makeup stays. I usually work 8 hour shift with 1 hour lunch and 2 hours commute so that's 11 hours and no problems just soft flawless skin !

hi crissy!

No problem I'm taking equally as long :-D sorry about that! Sorry about your lappie!

omg it sounds fabulous! I hate silicon primers and this sounds DREAMY! My makeup stays fresh but sometimes I def feel like my foundation just fades after 7 hours or so! So this sounds great :-D

Just wondering...is a primer necessary for someone who only uses concealer and face powder? Thanks!

hi huinee

depends on your skin! if you have large pores you'll want to use it to fill those in prior to using foundation/powder.

If you have dry skin primer is a great prepping tool for foundation.

If your foundation fails to last all day sometimes primer can help aid it and allow it to remain fresher for hours :-D

hope this helps!
