Thierry Mugler Angel Perfuming Body Cream Review
There isn't any doubt in the Muse's mind that when beauty lovers ask to have an angel sent their way they are talking about Thierry Mugler Angel.
Exquisite comes to mind when discussing Thierry Mugler Angel Perfuming Body Cream. Dropping $80 USD on a body cream may seem obscene but the cream is so rich, so complex in scent, so moisturizing, and so gorgeous that the indulgence of $80 will seem like mere pennies.
The many notes and levels of Thierry Mugler Angel fragrance lends a certain complexity to the scent that's near impossible to explain. The name "angel" can be misleading or at least it can for the Muse as she was expecting a much lighter fragrance but in fact the scent is quite deep, dark, and unique. Notes of Bargamot, Honey, Dewberry, Red Berries, Vanilla, Chocolate, Caramel, Hedione, Helional, and Patchouli cocktail together to create a exotic and sensual fragrance. I'm not a big fan of patchouli and it's a very dominant note in the fragrance especially during dry down however the other notes in the blend create a unique layer that morphs the patchouli into something a bit more passionate and exotic.
Thierry Mugler Angel Perfuming Body Cream is the perfect companion for layering the scent onto skin after using the perfume. The moisturizer glides on and literally melts into the skin leaving behind a softer version of the fragrance. Although the cream is thick it remains silky and smooth while absorbing easily.
Of course the Muse is a sucker for beautiful packaging and she simply loves the stunning jar that the cream comes in. The moisturizer comes encased in a large, heavy glass jar decked out in silver and blue coloring with glitter in the base of the jar and a star motif surrounding the front. The packaging lends as much beauty as the fragrance does and is completely vanity worthy.
This is truly a luxurious product and well worth every penny! I'm looking forward to adding the fragrance to my collection soon. All in all a rather beautiful and exotic product.
Have you tried Angel?

It's so nice...very dark for me! I normally go for lighter but it's rather wonderful for a nice out ;)
The body cream is divine! Most exotic piece in my cream stash :)
ooooh my. i need a whiff of something that decadent!!! ironically i'm going perfume shopping tomorrow...where could i find this in the perfume version?
hi laura!
off topic but I didn't forget about your blush request.
I'm scheduling it for this weekend when I'm away it'll be post for you :)
This is quite interesting do you like deeper fragrances?
It's available nordies, sephora, any high end counter has Thierry Mugler :)
Hope this helps!
oh thanks! yes, i love deep fragrances and/or men's fragrances....most perfumes for women are too sweet or too flowery for my taste. i prefer musk, clean, citrus, or exotic scents. i'll take other recommendations too :)
oh yay- a Muse treat for the weekend. love it! you're so thoughtful
hi laura!
You're most welcome dear!
See I'm just the opposite :) I LOVE sweet stuff :)
I'm a terrible rec for anything deeper or exotic since my tastes run to cotton candy and lollipops lol! This was really a different blend for me to try and I was shocked I liked it hehe!
hehehe my pleasure hun!
Hugs!
Kayvid: That sounds lovely! Wish I could whiff it :-)
BTW Musey, Could you suggest me a lipcolor (stick or gloss) that is long lasting and non transferrable?
morning kayvid!
I need to work on sniffavision for Musings hehe!
mmmm that's a hard one as I really don't have many great pics for long lasting lipcolor considering most wear off really fast.
mac lipglass is prob the best gloss for lasting quite long even though it's sticky and tacky it still manages to remain on for hours at a time.
also lipstick queen is so pigmented that even if you chew a bit off or eat, drink you'll see have much of the pigmentation remaining on lips
hope this helps!
oh and almost forget mac lip lustres....those last AGES and no transfer!
