Steal It: Scott Barnes Ice Eye

Oh my freaking god Scott Barnes Ice Eye is on sale again at Victoria's Secret!

Why have I never picked these up!?

I seen these last year during the Semi Annual sale and skipped them and now again I'm presented with them and I can't help but feel that old special lemming come on for these. I'm so intrigued to try them out. Knocked down from the original price tag of $25 USD and now priced at $11.99 USD I probably can afford one or two to try out right?

I think mainly, as unconventional as it is, the packaging appeals to me in a big way. Isn't it really pretty? But on a sad note I worry it'll be really difficult to get the product out plus the general mess of it which is why I'm glad I can steal it at this price because hey if I hate it at least I didn't dish nearly $30 bucks on it!

Anyone try these?

Love 'em?

Want to try 'em?

Tell the Muse!

Ooh, I rushed over to the Victoria's Secret website after reading the $11.99 price tag. But, sadly, there are only three colors available and they're all gold-ish. I must admit, I have enough golds to last me until hell freezes over. Twice! hehe :D I'm saving my money for MAC's 25% off sale (which ends today!) You?

Hi Musey,

It's been forever, but I had to leave a coment about this.

I LOVE SB Eye Ices- you must at least try one! I have Glenda which is a beautiful lavender (me and my love for all things purple :P). I got it at a Saks.com sale last year & I wish I got more colors. I may get Empress or Sandstone or some other one if I can afford it at VS this time around. Plus, to let you know it is soooo easy to use! All I do with mine is shake a bit into its lid and then I use a Becca liner or e/s brush to put it on- it really stays where you put it too! Whatever you don't use up in the lid, just shimmy back into the jar- it has never been messy for me at all. (I prefer it much more than any MAC pigment- SB Eye Ice just stays on better for me- sticks to my eye lid with no primer or anything needed). As well as you mentioned- the jar it comes in is so cool! I display my little ice cube on my vanity. :)

Sincerely,
Sarah

P.S. You might want to read some MUA reviews on the colors to see which you might prefer- because the original Ice Eye colors were all awesome, but they did come out with a few new colors and I have heard they may have messed with the forumlas on the newer shades and the only complaint with them was the color didn't stick as well (as in some fall-out). HTH :)

sarah, sarah, sarah!

How are you?

You've sold me! They sound awesome...the cap looked a tiny bit small which is why I wondered whether I'd be able to blend around my brush in the pigment.

At $11.99 I think at the very least I can try the few they have :)

Thanks for the tip off on the formula and the review hun!
Miss you around here!

You're one of my first readers :)

Hi Musey,

Aw, missed me did you? I am always lurking around here- I read everyday, never missed a post. I just can't leave comments as much as I would like due to both time restraints & my stupid pc. Sometimes I have written a number of comments only to send them & the pc says there was "a problem" or something like that so I often give up on even trying to comment. (And don't worry, its not your site that that happens, it's all of them!- technology hates me)! My fridge is broken and won't even get fixed until Tuesday & I am stressed to the max; your blog and others get me through all the blahs.

Totally do a Scott Barnes Eye Ice review if you pick them up- I want to know what you think of them. :)

(It does stink that there are so few colors to choose from now. Empress is not even there! The Eye Ices are great for the inner corners of your eye though- very "eye opening" effect). They are blingy.

Sincerely,
Sarah
