Estee Lauder Spring Collection 2009 Fuchsia Now

The Spring Collection for Estee Lauder entitled Fuchsia Now has the Muse in fits of excitement as it looks quite gorgeous!

Read on after the jump to find out why the Muse is hyper this morning!

Estee Lauder Fuchsia Now takes bolder shades and mixes them with neutrals to create a flirty, feminine, fun look. If you're a tiny bit scared of bolder shades here's a great excuse to try some while taking the edge off with safer, natural, neutral shades of color. You know how much your Muse loves bolder shades but she admits to being intrigued to the trend of cocktailing bold colors with neutrals.

Now the excitement....

You obviously know why I'm so hyper at this point don't you? If you haven't guessed already I'm quite excited about the release of the limited edition Estee Lauder Fleur de Lys Shimmer Powder. Considering what a great relationship the Muse has with her Estee Lauder Shimmering Jewel Powder from the Holiday Collection she does so believe that she's sure to love Fleur de Lys Shimmer Powder by default! Fleur de Lys is a silky, shimmering powder with a hint of color to add a fresh glow to cheeks and face. The powder is flattering for all skin tones since it can be used as a highlighter for a glowing finish. The design on the powder is simply stunning! At $32 USD for a generous size compact the Muse is already approving it for purchase as she knows it'll be gorgeous!

It sure looks pretty , but I can't see myself wearing Estee Lauder - mostly find the colours too cool for myself. Plus I got the Smurfette Illuminating Face Powder so I don't think I need yet another thing I will never use LOL But me thinks this Fleur de Lys powder looks a tad more sophistimacted than the Smurfette one and of course no doubt will look great on Le Muse!

I love the powder too! Unfortunately it's once again too pretty to use. :( I will really need to kick myself to start using my pretty stuff, because i know I will buy this too, so might as well use it, eh? I like the look of the eyeshadows too, but the colours are a bit boring. Will need to see them in person though.

The color seems so striking and using neutrals as a foil to the color is a great way to go bold and beautiful as opposed to splashy and trashy.

hi anitacska

I KNOW! But I've been good lately about le..I just dive in and use it...only live once right?

I'm unsure about the shadows but I kinda dig the idea of a bright popping blush maybe and a neutral eye?

;)

This collection is gorgeous!

My first lipstick ever was an EL gold tube hand-me-down in just about the same shade as the one shown.

(Oh the days when my mom had black hair and wore outrageous orange, shocking pink, and brick red lipstick... Now it's blonde hair and nice neutrals for her... LOL!)

I like that brights are out for spring... I probably won't get anything (maybe the Shimmer Powder if I save up enough funds after BBR...), but it sure is pretty to look at!

I love the powder and the eyeshadows. I'll probably pick up at least an eyeshadow duo. Too bad the lipstick packaging look so "old lady".

Where can you get the Smurfette powder from? I'd love to get it, but haven't seen it here in the UK yet.

Anyone bought the lovely fleur de lys shimmer powder? Does the color goes all the way to the pan or is it a spray over? I saw one at the counter. The colors are very muted compare with the photos posted. The photos show real fushia colors but the real items show a mauve pink instead. Really confusing.
