Majolica Majorca Fall Collection: A Girl With Wings

Majolica Majorca has updated it's website with the newest Fall Collection entitled A Girl With Wings. Although the site is in Japanese it's always nice to click around it and enjoy the interactivity on the site plus look at the pretty pictures of the new collection.

I admit that I'm not too thrilled with the collection but I will be indulging in all the items released. It's not a huge release but most Fall Collections in Japan aren't. Spring Collections are normally the season that Japanese cosmetic companies release bigger collections so we have to wait a bit before we see bigger and better things from Majolica Majorca and of course we have the special Holiday releases to look forward to!

The items released with A Girl with Wings are a new fiber mascara which is a first for Majolica Majorca and two new Trick On Eye Palettes. I'll be getting all three items and reviewing them for you shortly. I think you can safely skip everything but I do recommend picking up the mascara. MJ Mascara is always on my hit list and I try each new version released. I'm paying retail for the items which is 1,500 yen per a palette and 1,200 yen for the mascara but expect to pay up to $6-8 more per palette and I'd say at least $8 for the mascara at online shops.

Do click on over to see the updates!

can't wait for your review on the new MM mascara!!! its name is ridiculous (as with all the other mascaras from MM LOL) but if the stuff is good then who cares really? i had their lengthening mascaras (both old and new formulas) but i never quite got used to the comb design. right now i'm using Le 2 de Guerlain - it's decent enough but i need fiber in my mascara! i hope you'll get your hand on this new MM mascara soon and tell us what you think! can't wait! :)

I am definitely going to buy both palettes and the mascara! I have been reading about them from Bea's Up and the collection looks quite nice. I'm waiting for my new Biteki and see what they think of this fall collection.

Hi Sophia!

;) Will be up soon for ya love!

LOL the name is nutty ;)

I don't normally like fiber mascara but I have a feeling that they did this right ;)

Oh Sophia I simply love the comb applicator :) it's grand! The 2 de Guerlain is great but I actually prefer my cheaper MJ lol!

I should have airmailing over soon :)

Will give you the low down!

Thanks for the comment and btw I love your blog!

All the beautiful fashions are making me gag with envy!

Lovely posts!

Cheers!

I really like the promo shots!
The eye palettes have a few pretty colors to me. The left one has what looks like a dark dirty teal, and the right one has a nice light pink and purple.

I will wait for your review on the mascara...

I am on a No Buy period for a month (!) So I will live vicariously through you.

It's for a good cause though, going to Orlando for birthday weekend with the girls...serious shopping to be done! Must save and come back with giant haul (and hopefully a hangover! hehe)

Hitting the MAC Pro store and all the other lovely shops in Orlando... can't wait!!!

the purple palette seems nice, but i think i'll pass this time. :P i'll wait for ur reviews on the mascara before buying though!

i am eyeing on coffret d'or. as much as i love testimo, i find it not worthwhile getting their frame impact & grande shine... i'm kinda worried that both palette's gel liner will be dried up >_< and it's retailing at the same price as coffret's 3D eye palettes.

wat do you think darling?

lots of love,
plue

I'm pretty interested in both but I wasn't really too thrilled with the trick on from spring so I'm kinda in debates whether I love these or not...mmmm ;)

morning plue!

I was going to pass too but I collect the palettes..meh I should be good and skip!

I've eyeballed cdo for a while but haven't indulged yet.

I must admit that I don't mind about the liners should they dry up as I don't use them nearly as much as the shadows ;)

I might go and indulge in a palette from CoD and see what the hyper is ;-)

lots of love darling!

HI Muse!!

First of all, thanks a looot for all these reviews about Japanese makeup, I love them!

I have some questions for you, Master of Makeup!

First, have you tested yet the new MM mascara, Lash Gorgeous Wings? If so, can you write a review?

And a friend is coming from Japan, what can I ask him to bring?
I hesitate between MM and Kate, what is the best brand for these products: eye shadows, eye liner, mascara, gloss/lip tints, base makeup?

Thanks again!!

Oops! I spoke too early! I didn't see your review of the MM Gorgeous... sorry!
Though, I don't see the use of fibers in a mascara, except to irritate the eyes!!...

And I have another question: where do you usually buy your Japanese cosmetics?I know you provide a great list of sites but which one is your fav site??

hello lilly!

You're most welcome. It's my pleasure :)

I have and I wrote a review this morning lol! Pretty funny you asked after it :)

Review is on the front page my dear!

MM is best for single eyeshadows. Great great pigmentation on those. I'm also very partial to the Majolook palettes myself but I don't always rec them as they are definately not something you wanna try out without first experiencing other japanese cosmetics :)

Kate glamtrick palettes are awesome as is the super sharp liner. Gloss is good as well.

I love base makeup from Lunasol and Lavshuca (lavshuca has a new foundation I'll be reviewing soon).

Is there particular shadows you like? Natural? Pigmented? Are you loving loud colors? Let me know and I can rec some great stuff :)

Both KATE and MJ make plenty of great stuff but there are tons of other companies too ;)

Hope this helps some!

Give me further info and I'll def do my best to compile a must have list ;)

wow! thanks for this fast answer!!

In fact, I'd like a deep dark green eyeshadow for this autumn, that I can wear in daily makeup and for parties, as smokey eyes. Generally, I don't like flashy colors and too sophisticated looks (except on parties), 'coz I have barely 5 minutes each morning to do my makeup.

As my Japanese mother, my lashes are soo thin and short that I desperate to find a good volumizing and lengthening mascara, plus I live in Paris where most of the girls have at least long lashes!

For glosses, I'm searching for a pink/beige color, that i can't find in france (it's either pink, either beige).

OK, I stop talking about myself, and I'm waiting your advices!

hello again Lilyvanille!

You're most welcome!

if you're loving green might I suggest the KATE Glamtrick palette in GN-1. It's my favorite!!!!! You can do a gorgeous smokey green eye with it:)

http://www.musingsofamuse.com/search/?q=glamtrick+gn-1

If you want simplicity I highly recommend the glamtrick and the new fall kate palettes. They contain a few color selections to makeup one complete look that's both elegant and simple :)

Paris!? Wow! How wonderful :) Definitely try out the regular MJ Mascara. I swear by it!

http://www.musingsofamuse.com/2008/04/majolica-majorca-mascara-review.html

Hmm for a pink/beige gloss the new MJ glosses sound good and also visee has a few beigey pink shades!

LOL :) I'm enjoying your questions!

Hope this helps!

Hugs!

Thanks again!!!

I've seen your post about Kate Glamtrick, it's exactly what i want!! And I'll try the mascara too, it looks perfect!!

Yes, Paris is a great city for fashion, beauty, ... I must resist to temptation everytime they lauunch a new product! But my budget stops me too....
If there is something you want (though i don't think there's something in Paris that isn't in NY!), tell me and I'll send you!
