Pieces of Life: The Sims Edition
So OMFGBBQWTF! The fact that EA Games continues to bundle it's games with SecuROM totally rips into the Muse but if that wasn't enough guess what else they are doing now!?
Check it.
Not only do they bundle games with SecuROM but now they pushed the release date for The Sims 3 from February to freaking June! I may be dead by then dude!
I dunno what's worst....the delayed release or the bloody SecuROM!
Give me a shoulder I need to cry.
Hold me.

I feel you pain over game releases being pushed back! I was soooo depserate for Animal Crossing for Wii, I nearly burst!
Ahh! The Sims is so addicting. I hope these means that we'll be seeing more price cuts for the Sims 2 packs.
Has SecurROM actually prevented pirating software? It seems like it hasn't made a difference. A positive one, anyway!
What?!!!! I'm a The Sims fan too, I play it for almost the whole day especially when I'm on a vacation... hehe But that is really sad news. It's too bad that we are at their mercy. We just really have to wait but that is really sad... really... really... sad. Sorry I can't give you a shoulder to cry on.
Arrrghhhh!I would survive the SecuRom somehow,but June???>:( I mean,they announced it for February half a year ago...

Spore is the most torrented game because of securom so if they do this with the sims3, they are going to go bankrupt!
I hope they come to their senses and remove it.
I know what I'll do if they add securom in it...
And only 5 installations? One more reason to torrent it.

I usually purchase my computer games from the US since computer games are very expensive here. The Sims is usually 1.5-2 times the US price but for other imported games it can be 3 times as much. Computer gaming isn't all that popular here so stores can stick on whatever price they want. Sob.
tell me about it! i've placed my order for the CE hoping to get it feb ... but june?!? what the hell am i supposed to do by then. gosh EA ... and what is with securom. i was thinking maybe they were going to release another S2 xpac to cash in but oh well.

Completely unrelated to The Sims but I'm actually having trouble acquiring Korean products. If you have any ideas, please let me know. There are Missha and Face Shop stores here but nothing from Etude House and most other Korean brands. The majority of Japanese internet sites selling Etude House products have them at three times the orignal price. GMarket it also available in Japan but they've also marked up the prices. I think I might actual visit Korean sometime this year and take a bunch of goodies back with me but there are some products I'm just dying to try.
