WANT: Lush The Strokes Hair Treatment

Ooooooooooo looks what's coming back to Lush!

Welcome back gorgeous!

The Muse absolutely adores Lush Jasmine and Henna Fluff Eaze and she welcomed it with open arms into the Lush haircare family however with it's release the Muse had to bid farewell to her favorite hair treatment, The Strokes.

But it's back!

Lush has introduced The Strokes back into the Retro Lush Catalog and the Muse is all about stocking up on a few and stashing them in her fridge! The Strokes tames my curls and adds tons of shine and body! It smells fresh and citrus like and leaves my hair scented as such for days and days and days after using!

To use The Strokes simply slap a heaping amount on dry hair and slip on a shower cap or wrap your head in a towel. The Muse normally runs a towel under extremely hot water, rings it out, and wraps around her with the treatment on. I leave it on for about an hour although they suggest 20 minutes or so. After the hour is up I rinse off and shampoo (no conditioner required) and I'm left with smooth, soft locks that remain as such for at least a month!

Best hair treatment evers!

The Muse adores The Strokes and is happy for it's return! Remember kids Lush Hair Treatments only last 3-4 months so use them in that time or they'll go bad!

Snag yours from Lush for $17.95 USD per a pot!

What's your fav Lush hair treatment?

Remember The Strokes?

Tell the Muse!

Ooooh. I was planning on getting the Chinese named hair masque on my next Lush visit (coming to NYC in a week! Yay!) Maybe I'll get this too and complare. How would you compare all the Lush hair treatments? My hair is fine but I have a LOT of it! The ends are dry because I colored big sections last fall, but overall it's pretty healthy.

hi asta.

Yayayay :) H'Suan Wen Hua Hair is good too. But sadly lush retro is sold online only so the NY store won't have it :(

H'Suan Wen Hua Hair is better for dried out hair that need extra softness and the strokes gives a body to hair while taming frizzies. so they perform too separate functions. As for Fluff Eaze I'd rec it for wavy/curl hair girls as it softens hair and controls curls. And finally, although I'm not blonde, I use Mariyln in the Summer to give my hair a little lightening up..I'm dark brown but after use I can get a little lighter.

I'd go with the strokes as it sounds like you need a bit of body and conditioning. Have you tried big? that'll make your fine hair fuller as well.

Oh, what is this :) Sounds interesting.. and I was almost promising myself not to buy more Lush until spring..

My favourite right now is the "Marilyn", since I'm a blonde and it's meant for blondes. It's a nice product and at least it makes me think that I might be getting even blonder when using it ;)

I love Marilyn. I use it in the summer. I'm not blonde but it gives my hair a little bit of a lighter look :) which I love

and it smells lovely!

Hi Muse,
I've been reading your blog for awhile and I really enjoy it! I was just wondering how long the hair treatments would last if stored in the fridge? After reading your blog, I'm really interested in getting some Lush products, especially the solid shampoos you reviewied in one of your entries. They seem like a neat idea :)

hi osculari!

Thank you so much! Glad you enjoy it :) hugs!

The sold shampoos are awesome.

I find that when kept in the fridge hair treatments normally keep for about 4-5 months..although I don't rec keeping them over a 4 month period as they have no preservatives the chances of bacteria are higher!

Hope this helps hun!
