Fall Collections 2008: Jill Stuart Illuminance

Jill Stuart's website has been updated with the latest Fall Collection for 2008 entitled Illuminance. I find the name quite fitting as the new shadow palettes and cheek blushes sport beautiful golds for Fall.

I wasn't particularly excited about the Brilliance collection but I do feel a slight tinge of interest. I think I'll be indulging in at least one of the blushes and three of the shadow palettes. The shadow palettes have been slightly revamped as well with an interesting design on the front of the compact. It's been a little bit of a gap between purchases for me on the Jill Stuart front simply because the shadow palettes are extremely uneventful with similiar shades being used over and over and over again.

The Muse's stash of blush compacts hauled from last season!

However, after such a long dry spell Jill Stuart Illuminance may be getting some of the Muse's hard earned money! Palettes are 5,000 yen each and blushes are 4,500 yen each. Expect to pay $10-$30 USD more per item online.

Items I think I'll be indulging in:

Eye palettes in Jewel Dress, Fantastic Light, Brocade Gold, and Flash Veil.

Blush in Gold Illuminance.

How about you?

Got your eyes on anything?

Love Jill Stuart?

Tell the Muse!

Hiya muse!! In my opinion, JS needs to release more colorful palettes, not all that pink, brown, pastelly stuff! Aren't they DC'ing the Jewel Violet, Crystal Jade and..hmm...number 04 in the Brilliance eyes?? Those are *almost* all the interesting ones, with the exception of glazed garnet! Tsk tsk :D..

Oh yeah and here's a link to my hauls in Taiwan:

morning becky!

Agreed 100%. It's a snow lately.

I've no idea. It's one of those two...they are doing away with a few of the eye palettes from older releases but I actually stopped listening to anything about JS lately since I'm so bored with it sigh!

I didn't even bother with Brilliance eyes or the Summer palette. Normally I'd whore for JS but I haven't bothered. It's such a snore.

I am getting three of the new shadow palettes though b/c I like the looks of the golds and such but I think it's safe to say they will be the same old rerun colors!

freaking outstanding haul girlie! Nice! Loving the Shu palette. I got the blue version but I really wanted that version too! ;) Lavshuca is another one, reminded me after seeing your haul, that's an absolute SNORE lately. This Fall the releases are so very yak! What the hell!

Thanks for sharing...will be drooling over your post for a few minutes longer ;)

I like Jill Stuart too! Have 2 e/s palettes Jewel Violet and Glazed Garnet from last year Fall, and also a Eye Jelly. I love these 2 palettes so much! But since then,I have not see anything special esp. this spring/summer collection which is so......disappointing. What is the cream e/s doing in the palette??!!!? It just spoil the whole thing.

Nonetheless,I am going to get e/s palette no.1 and 4 this Fall.

Hey Izzy, I'm getting the blush in Gold Illuminance. Gonna get the items from an online S'pore blog, so probably paying SGD$4 TO $5 above retail including shipping and postage. Not too bad I guess. I'm very tempted on no.4 e/s palette. I love seeing their range of nail polish and thought of owning one as well..

*Sigh* why are Jill Stuart cosmetics so expensive?

I like that face powder..I need to figure out how to get neat Japanese cosmetics. The Japanese convenience store i sometimes goes to only has a handful of things..

Hmmm...maybe I'll contact an associate of mine who lives in Japan lol.

I'm so going to get all limited edition products as soon as I can. Luckily for me the dollar is very cheap, so these won't be too expensive.

hiya gracie!

Ditto. I don't really love these blushes at all as I have two and they aren't fab but the gold was yelling at me!

That's not too bad a deal.

Nail polish is a bit of a waste for me as I tend to bite eep!!!!! but the bottles are so cute :)

I know :( sigh! damn!
