DERMAdoctor Med E Tate Review
Dude, wait, people get Botox because they sweat? Say word, who knew? If you seek a blissfully dry (as in sweating) existence it appears there are all sorts of remedies for it including injections and prescription drugs. Whoa. And I thought I had problems, luckily sweat never was one.
But it's ok...if you sweat..alot...or a little...the Muse still loves you...mmmm just don't touch me I'm kinda a germ phobic k?
Seriously though, if you sweat quite alot or enough to make you uncomfortable DERMAdoctor is here to fix the problem right up. You know how much love I have for the good doctor? She rocks my eyes daily and makes 'em look all kinda of well rested!
Check out DERMAdoctor Med E Tate after the jump!
DERMADoctor Med E Tate are medicated hyperhidrosis-control wipes for use on your face or body to keep you dry all day.
Hyperhidrosis is excessive sweating even though a person remains inactive. This effects the face, under your arms, palms, soles, areas under the breasts, cleavage, etc...You don't have to have hyperhidrosis to take advantage of DERMAdoctor Med E Tate as it also promises to keep makeup from melting away on a hot day! The product comes in individually wrapped packets and are medium size wipes that are heavily saturated with product. They feel cooling and non sticky after application.
I was recently given DERMAdoctor Med E Tate to test out and I wasn't quite sure the best way to use 'em. I don't really have a prob in the sweating department as I remain comfortably dry all day, yo Secret deo thanks chica! So I tested them in two ways....I gave packets to all the men in my life. Good friends, my dad (who sweats terribly in heat), and even to my friend Jillian who, god bless her soul, runs 3 miles daily even in the heat. As for me? I collected the data and heard what they had to say about the pads and I also gave 'em a whirl myself one day while I was outside for over 8 hours.
Most of my friends didn't get the point and I was left with, "huh?" "wait what?" "you want me to use this under my arms and on my face...?" Yea well obviously these aren't the most intelligent men in the world.
My dad was funnier as he thought it was rather great. He didn't use them under his arms according to him but he did end up wiping his forehead with only one (I gave him five but he didn't use them all) and said that it remained drip free all day. Go dad!
As for Jillian she used it the same way my dad did and had the same results but she also ended up using one under her arms as well and just reported feeling a cool sensation under pits for most of the run plus since the pad was so saturated she wasn't sure if she was sweating or if it was the pad the entire time that was wet...geez....obviously this is why I'm the blogger around here...what terrible reviewers.
As for me since I'm not much of a sweater I felt like they were a rather nice cool down treatment on a sunny day. I'm not sure if they did much for makeup as they are so saturated I was terribly scared to wipe my face with them for fear of the pad removing my makeup but I did use on my forehead and the back of knees and it was a nice cooling sensation. One area it did seem to exceed at keeping cool and dry free was the middle of my back. I don't sweat but my back tends to get damp on a very hot day. I ended up wiping my back with one prior to going outside and my back, surprised, remained completely dry. It wasn't too hot a day so I think I'll be taking these along with me when I head to California in the Fall as I want to test them out when I'm walking around in 85-90 degree heat and see if they still keep my back dry free.
So far I've read alot of reviews as I was curious what people were saying and it seems a big time rave.
If you sweat alot these could be a life saver and perhaps worthy of a pick up (maybe if you have sweaty palms you can now rejoice at these keeping them dry!). One box contains 30 pads for $48.
Anyone try these?
What do you think about them?
