Spring 2009: Guerlain Exotic Paradise Collection
Elegance is always the order of business with Guerlain which in turn has me quite excited about the release of the Guerlain Spring Collection 2009 Exotic Paradise.
I think the main focus of the collection is the new Guerlain Exotic Paradise Eyeshadow Palette. I'm liking the candy green tint to the compact the quad colors look quite friendly as well if not a bit on the Summery side a la Givenchy's Spring Collection. But that's ok I can always stash away until June if it fails to work in the Spring!
I find my purchases from Guerlain are mostly limited to Holiday Collections however this compact may change my mind!
Also being released are new Guerlain Single Eyeshadows available in 10 shades and two new Guerlain Kiss Kiss Lipsticks formulas (one with a matte finish the other with a shimmer.
And finally a brand new product which is the Guerlain Eyeshadow Primer. I see quite a few brands releasing primers lately so it's nice to see Guerlain releasing it's own version. I'm quite curious about this and may purchase it.
All in all the collection looks rather nice and the temptation of the shadow compact and primer being on my hit list.

Happy Monday Muse! Yep, loves it (Guerlain that is)! That e/s palette is miiinneeee. Gonna buy it right away when it gets here, probably in 2 weeks. Well, it's not quite spring yet, but.. oh, lovely.
This collection looks so lovely! I adore the eyeshadow compact, but would never want to use it because I wouldn't want the pretty print to wear off! ^_^

Happy Monday :) Totally loves it. The shadow palette is so gorgggggggggggg! I think it's already out on counters here but I'm being a good little girl ;)

Doesn't it!? I wants the shadow compact so badly. Lord I'm the same way but lately I've been good about just diving right in and using the palette hehe :) I did so with my winter compact ;)
Oh yes, I also love the e/s palette and must have it asap! :) Also like the maxi shine lipstick and have seen pictures of the lipglosses on Temptalia that I also love. I have to admit that I am terrible and don't actually use most of my pretty stuff, so having forked out for the midnight butterfly collection I haven't actually used the e/s quad or the meteorites powder. :O How silly is that?

The lippies look amazingggggg! I'm the same way..I didn't use the power yet either EEP! I used to be all about stashing it away and NEVER touching it but I've since been very good about using items even LE ;) you only live once right!?

OMG how gorgy is that eye palette? Must have it for sure - haven't seen it in any stores yet though which is good for my bank account LOL
I eating my words from my previous statement that it's ridiculous to buy high end makeup...but....this is so unfair....the packaging is so pretty!! I really want the eyeshadow quad. The case is stunning!! The colors gorgeous! Maybe, just this once...

I haven't tried Guerlain makeup yet (am I late to the party?) Something about me not loving their perfumes makes me turn away. (I'm a Hermes girl)
But that Palette looks amazing! And I have the same coloring as the Muse so I am so looking forward to some swatches! And a matching lipstick in matte! But still my beating heart!
Does it's look rose-ish to you? posie-ish? I'm trying to figure out what blush will work with it - since my usual tan bronser for Spring doesn't look like a good combo.

ooohhh I dunno yet :( I've been avoiding the counter b/c once I seen the collection I'll want it all..I'm playing good :) but don't worry I won't resist soon and I'll have swatchies :)

OMG, that palette is so pretty! The only thing I own by Guerlain (besides fragrance) is the Terracotta Dore (I think that's what it's called; it's the bronzer and I've had it for a million years).
