Spring Collections 2009: Kiss Chocolat Collection
There isn't any question in the world that I absolutely adored the Kiss Chocolatier Collection for Sprng 2008 so I was really thrilled when I heard that Kiss would be following up on the theme and releasing a new chocolate collection for Spring 2009.
Sadly, I wasn't too excited once I actually got the chance to view the collection for myself.
The Kiss Chocolat Collection is quite small so it's nothing to get too hyper about however I will say that I'm quite disappointed in the Kiss Dual Chocolat Eye Palettes released with the collection. Now the colors are absolutely fav and keeping with the chocolate strawberry theme however the main shade is a cream shadow. Although I've made piece with cream shadows I think it's safe to say that these will probably be a mess to apply, lack pigmentation, plus the liner being a powder kinda makes them a tad on the boring side.
Le sigh!
The good news is that the Lip Chocolat Treatment looks quite good! Of course it's strawberry chocolate scented and flavored...Muse likey! Last year I enjoyed the glosses released with the Chocolatier Collection immensely! The flavors were really true to life and they smelled so yummie! I'm looking forward to this lipgloss in a major way and I'll definately be reviewing it soon!
Although the collection's main focus item, the duos, are a sore disappointment I do think the gloss looks like a joy!
What do you think?
Love this collection?
Not so much?
Tell the Muse!

I totally agree with you Izz. Maybe if the creme shadows were powder this could have potential to be very cute...or even a trio with the cream, strawberry, and chocolate shades (lol candyspeak!!1) all together. THAT would be nice to see...sadly that colour combo has been done before so even then it would be easy to dupe!
Damn that lip treatment looks tasty. Grr. So many asian treats to try...so little time.
owow..can you tell me where did you get the products from??esp the gloss? and did I tell you your new background look really cool? :D
I dunno...I have a feeling the cream shadows will be utter crap...and imagine layering the powder liner on cream?! :P I think your ideas sounds fab! I would even be happy with just a powder duo! they colors look nice but the formula isn't appealing :P
lol! I hear ya :)
Hi acutelife!
I haven't got them yet but I'll be asking a friend who lives in Japan to get them for me :)
Aww thankssssssssssss :) glad you like it Hugs!
yes I've learned the hard way that when a palette has a cream shadow its always going to be...not good. its a shame cos this collection has a lot of potential! if they added a rosy pink blush and lipstick they'd really be on the money.
hey girl!
Amen to that :)
sigh they never do good blushes :P I'd adore seeing that :( but they always release those crummy duos or a highlighter :P
I have no use for Kiss blush :P
Awww with a choco strawberry theme, you'd think they'd come out with something a little more...rich? In terms of colour :( I do love that the compacts are printed to look like choco bars though...I *almost* want to buy a duo just for that >_<
The lip treatment looks delicious though! I can't wait to read your review! ^_^
hey ghoulina :)
ya...sigh....I'd love deeper chocolates and pinks :) I loved last year's palette but this year the cute factor isn't winning me :P
I'm eager for the lippie that's for sure!
