Musings of the Day: Your Fav Concealer

This one is a tiny bit hard for the Muse to answer since she has a slew of concealers that she really likes but since her taste in concealers changes regular and from day to day she finds a new one she likes, she decided it was best to pick the one she uses most regularly as of late...

I couldn't pick one because at the moment I'm feeling the love for Mally Beauty Cancellation Concealer System in a major way!

My second favorite and totally holy grail material is the Bobbi Brown Concealer Palette!

At the moment both of these two palettes are my go to for fresh, awake, and well concealed eyes!

What about you?

What's your HG concealer that you'd simply die without?

Tell the Muse!

I'm really loving the Urban Decay 24/7 concealer in CIA. I use it under my eyes and on my zit spots. It works really well for me and works with my foundation :)

Right now I am digging Benefit Boi-ing for my face, MUFE Lift concealer for my dark under -eye circles. They both seem to blend in without streaking or looking too ghastly - and all thanks to you, Ms. Muse for the recommendations:-)

I am lurving the MUFE Camoflauge Concealer Palette. Those peachy/yellow shades really do wonders for dark circles, the green shade for redness, and the lighter shades for anything else!

I also love the Prescriptives Flawless Skin Total Protection Concealer.

I like MAC's Studio Finish concealer - it has SPF 35, and works well to cover up my undereyes. It also covers my blemishes very well :) It stays put with some powder on top.

my favorite concealer palette is from Qiora which is a company under Shiseido [as if I need to tell you that] it is a cute compact and has three shades, a brush and a spot for mixing.

Cle de Peau, the texture is divine and all i have to do is swipe a brush over the top of the stick once to get good, creamy coverage anywhere I want. It's going to last me FOREVER so i'd say it was value for money too.

I wouldn't die without it, but I do love my YSL Touche Eclat, and Collection 2000's new light diffusing concealer as the cheaper option. Both are great!

I like the Maybelline Age Rewind duo (concealer & highlight). I have a ton of concealer but I always reach for this one. I prefer the consistency to cream based pots. It's more of a liquid and blends well. I do want to try BB though!

hi elle!

I haven't tried either sadly..the BE I just avoid in general since powder makes my eyes age although I've been to try their well rested concealer/shadow.

I think I am still seeking my HG too...I have a few I really love and consider HG material but they aren't quite quite there yet :)

LM makes a good one but BB is better imho!

Thanks for sharing hun!

Do try the 44 Dark Circle and let me know! My dark circles are not very dark so they work just nice for me. My Bobbi's Brown concealer is finishing so I feel like buying Mally Beauty Cancellation Concealer System. But I'm not sure what colour I should get. What do you think?

hey serene!

absolutely :)

Gosh I dunno....You're a medium from the pics I've seen of you it looks like but do you like your concealer a shade lighter? You might want the lighter but I'm worried it might be too light and I'm scared the medium will be too dark.

hmmmm.....I think medium would prob be best.

Hey there Muse.. just wanted to add, I really do love my Etude House 44 Dark Circle concealer! The stuff works, I'm serious!
I don't think it'll be too light for you.. I'm Asian with fair-medium skin and it's fine for me. I think it kind of blends into your skintone after a while because when I first apply it and look into a mirror under bright light my undereye area looks strangely bright. But about half an hour later I look into the mirror again and voila.. no dark circles AND no unnatural brightness either =P

I do love Etude House.

My fave is Boi-ing but I think I'm going to switch to the BB Corrector Concealer and Creamy Concealer because I've been having trouble with it caking.I put a lot on but what am I supposed to do?I can't go to school with no concealer on!My circles are really bad (and I mean REALLY bad) and today I got really mad about my concealer because my friend came up to me and said "You look like you have two black eyes."So I'm just like oh snap...

So,yeah,I'm hoping Bobbi Brown can come through for me =] but Boi-ing is certainly the best I've tried so far.
