Musings of the Day: Those Damn MSF
The Muse simply adores MAC MSF (MAC Mineralize Skinfinish) especially when they are loaded with chunky glitter!

The Muse already tried, tested, and reviewed the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Brunette for you and she's now looking forward to snagging the Blonde and Redhead version as well! So I def want all three of 'em! What about you?

Nooooo!!!! I am trying to be good...even though I have a serious weakness for the MSF's.
I am leaving on a cruise in a week, then have to deal with HK! Plus I want to go to NY in May!
I am avoiding MAC like the plague, but then again, well, I DO have that giftcard I received for Christmas...

Like you, I am also a brunette with dark brown eyes, but my skintone is light, so I don't think the Brunette MSF would work for me at all. I'm pretty sure I will get the Blonde and Redhead MSFs though as they are both sooooo pretty. :) I already own 2 MSFs (Petticoat and Light Flush, I use Petticoat as a blush mainly) and they are great. :) I am a sucker for shimmer (as you know) and own almost every shade of Bobbi Brown's Shimmer Brick, every shade of Laura Mercier's Shimmer Bloc and all 3 shades of Dior's shimmer powder, not to mention the many other shimmer powders from Estee Lauder. Cannot wait to check out the BBR collection in person, but unfortunately it won't arrive in the UK for a few more weeks yet (Dame Edna was only launched last week). Can't wait!!!!

I so picked up the Blonde MSF and a few other things. Well a lot of other things. I ordered online but I should have went to the store. I probably wouldn't have picked up as much as I have...but then again, if I went into the store, I may have bought more!
I'm heading to MAC tonight to buy my BBR stuff.
Here's what I've been thinking of:
Redhead MSF (because I don't own a single MSF)
Chignon lipstick
Quick Tease & Strawberry Blonde lipglass
Flip and French Cuff eye shadows, maybe 100 Strokes
Now this is all dependent upon how well they look on me, ofc.
So we'll see.
Today I'm wearing fabulous stuff by Urban Decay. Half Baked on my lids and Crash in my crease :)
I´ll be sure to pick up the blonde, thank god I have a gift card!!!

From the way it looks, I think the Redhead one would be good for me :) Lucky me, I'm allergic to MAC MSF, otherwise I would be dead broke!

The blonde and redhead msf look really appealing. I think the brunette msf may be too similar to so ceylon. I may wait to pick these up. The local MAC counter never seems to run out of the most popular items(which will probably be these msfs). When I went last weekend they still had 6 petticoats in stock. Have a great weekend!!
Ok, So I swatched all the eye shadows, Chignon, Quick Tease and Strawberry Blonde and the MSF. Overall I was disappointed. I ended up only feeling OMG I need to buy this now! about Flip and Quick Tease, so I bought those. I also bought Coppering to go with Flip. I was kinda eh, it's pretty, but not OMG about the MSF. I still may go back and get Strawberry Blonde. Chignon made me soo sad. It had pretty colors and subtle nuance on my skin but when I put it on my lips it looked just like my Covergirl TruShine in Cherry Shine. No need for me to buy it if that's the case. Ofc, I did a review in my blog if you wanna see :)

i got the redhead one like Anitacska said, i own petticoat and light flush so i didnt picked up blonde msf since i am good with those 2 already and b/c im holding strong for the HK collection hehe
Lol, it is an impressive stash, I own way more than I'll ever need and I can't stop buying them. :) Thanks for the cp offer, but I'm sure BBR will arrive in the UK in a couple of weeks and nowadays the $ is a lot stronger than it used to be (or the £ is weaker), so it's not really worth buying from the US atm (unfortunately). :(
Even though I was planning on getting all three... I'm just going to get Blonde and Redhead. What's really weird though, is that I'm a very dark Brunette... with ultra pale skin. Brunette would be way too dark on me.
But I'm still considering getting it. XD
Besides the MSFs, I'm gonna pick up French Cuff, Blow Dry, and Strawberry Blonde. I'm on the fence right now about getting the 165 (I don't have a brush like it!).
I can't wait to go to Nordies tomorrow to pick this stuff up!

Nice haul hun...I ended up swatching alot too and overall I skipped all of it aside from Flip, Henna, and French Cuff...the rest were meh for me.
I shocked myself as I thought I was going to do some sincere hauling!

brunette is too dark, even for me, it's a tad bit muddy..pretty but muddy if used with a heavy hand.
I got french cuff and it's lovely :) I really want the brushes but they are perm so I can prob wait thankfully :)

I got my BBR haul on sunday!
I got the Blonde msf, strawberry blonde lipglass and the 165 brush.
I've got to be good until HK comes out now. I'm lemming a ton of the lip products.
