Clarins Joli Rouge Perfect Shine Sheer Lipstick Review, Swatches, Photos, and FOTD Raspberry, Papaya, Praline, and Fig

Now the only that gives me hope is my love of a certain Joli Rouge Perfect Shine Sheer Lipstick from Clarins!

Ahhh Clarins Joli Rouge Perfect Shine Sheer Lipstick truly beautiful to behold! Clarins Spring Collection 2009 includes some seriously beautiful items but nothing, in the Muse's opinion, outshines the eight shades of brand new Joli Rouge Perfect Shine Sheer Lipstick.

Wow, simply wow. These are stunning lipsticks and truly gorgeous to say the least. I recently fell in love with the original formula of Clarins Joli Rouge Lipstick this past Fall, needless to say that these new versions are outstanding and quite a popular product with the Muse at the moment.

Is it a gloss? Is it a lipstick? Joli Rouge Perfect Shine Sheer Lipstick hasn't quite made up it's mine what it is and that's just fine by me as I get the benefits of a pigmented lipstick along with the beautiful shine and glossy finish of a lipgloss! Likey!

My review will start with four shades of Clarins Joli Rouge Perfect Shine Sheer Lipstick and later this week or next week I'll bring you swatches, photos, and FOTD's of the remaining shades. Yes, the Muse has all the shades and thinks YOU need all the shades too as this is unquestionable my most favorite lipstick at the moment with no end in sight!

Each lipstick has a super glossy, emollient formula that glides on with a hint of a shimmery finish. Pigmentation is fantastic and you'll get a wonderful pop of Spring (or Summer) color especially considering Clarins went all out with the beautiful shade choices in the collection. The lipstick is long wearing and highly moisturizing so those with dry lip woes will greatly appreciate the beautiful formula. Each lipstick carries a fruit punch like taste which is quite pleasant, I heart flavored lipsticks! These come housed in a silver mirror tube that carries an air of elegance but the color on the inside can't be mistaken for anything but pure fun!

The colors I'm reviewing and swatching for you today are Fig which is a warm brown shade with touches of peach and hints of silver shimmer, Praline which is a lovely nude beige almost champagne shade, Papaya which is a loud fun orange coral, and Raspberry which is an offbeat pink shade with touches of purple.

Apologies the FOTD photos of me wearing the lipstick are from my recent Urban Decay Cream Shadow Review. Sorry guys! I thought I'd kill to birds with one stone ;)

Overall, if you're on a tight budget this season I urge you to pick up at least one of these fabulous lipsticks as they truly are a fabulous find! They come with my highest seal of Muse Approval for purchase.

Who would love 'em?

  • Anyone that loves a dual product that acts as both a gloss and a lipstick!
  • Those with dry lips that like a glossy, emollient, moisturizing lip product.
  • Women who enjoy a bit of shimmer and shine in their lipsticks!
  • Anyone who adores bright, fun colors in their lipsticks!

Clarins Joli Rouge Perfect Shine Sheer Lipstick promises a beautiful glossy finish but brings so much more to the table with it's pigmented formula and gorgeous shade selection. These are a fond favorite for Spring and well into the Summer!

Likey!

You needs 'em, like yesterday!

Run to Clarins and snag some for yourself!

Love 'em?

Tried 'em already?

On your wish list?

Tell the Muse!

Stick around for the sequel review of this post which is coming at you soon with new shades of this great lipstick!

Hey they look really good one you! Sadly I tried Fig Monday and it didn't do anything for me colour-wise on my pigmented lips, just came out glossy so I passed. But they would be perfect for anyone with less pigmented lips! Did you see the eye palette they have for Spring? I picked it up - so pretty!
