Beauty on a Budget: Wet n' Wild Lash Intense Mascara Review
Ha who would think that mascara that costs $3.79 USD would actually work? Count the Muse amused, delighted, and surprised at how well her testing with Wet n' Wild Lash Intense Mascara went!
Read ahead to find out the deets!
I ran across Wet n' Wild Lash Intense Mascara recently while I was at Walgreens and I must say it actually works quite well. Last Intense makes the standard round of promises such as fuller, thicker lashes but at $3.79 USD my dubious nature set in. Seriously, mascara that's under $4 USD.....doesn't the idea of the price tag alone scare the beegees out of you?
Turns out you can have thicker, longer, and fatter lashes for under $4 USD. Ha, who would guessed?
Wet n' Wild Lash Intense Mascara sports the plastic applicator that's taken the drugstore world by storm lately. Everywhere you look plastic applicators are popping up! What do you think of plastic applicators? I find in some cases that they work rather well but in others not so great. In this case the applicator is the key to creating beautifully long, thick lashes and works quite well. The applicator has no curve and is straight in style with longer bristles on one side and shorter on the other. The best way to apply the mascara is to use the longer bristles to brush a few coats of mascara on and use the shorter end to work product through your lashes while curling them upwards. It does a take a little bit of work to get the knack of using it without creating a mess but a few tries later and I had quite nice results.
Results are pretty amazing! My lashes were considerably thicker, longer, and full of volume. Likey! It wears well through the day without smudging, flaking, or smearing. The cute portable size and purple packaging appeals although it is a tiny bit cheap looking but hey the product works, that counts for something!
What's not to like? If you're on a budget and looking for a cheap mascara that gives longer, fuller lashes this is well worth a try! I didn't LOVE it but I definitely liked it!
Anyone try out Wet n' Wild Lash Intense Mascara?

laff, laff. good for you, braving the world of cheap cosmetics for ppl like me that can't afford Givenchy.
I hate plastic mascara wands. It feels like its pulling out my lashes. So, I probably won't even try this one! But four bucks sounds like a great deal.
hi laura!
aww lol...I was trying! I was trying really hard ;)
hi jackie!
really? I just find they suck at application and cause major smudgy lashes all stuck together :P
honestly at the price you can afford to try it and toss it out if it doesn't work lol!
o.O
Musey willingly bought a Wet n Wild product?
...And liked it?
*dies*
lmao sarah
I must have been under the influence at the time ;)
yay this is awesome! ive been trying to find a good drugstore mascara for awhile now, to no avail. tried the covergirl lashblast and maybelline great lash, and they werent up to par. now i'll try this next, i wanted to try full n' soft, 2000 calorie after these failed tries, but i'll get this instead!
How was it at holding a curl?
I saw this a couple of weeks ago, but I didn't buy. It reminds me of the Rimmel Glam Eyes wand- which is actually quite nice after I got over my bias of not liking these kinds of applicators. I think I'll have to pick this up!!
hi anonymous!
hey it's under $4 bucks :) can't be beat right? if it stinks you can toss it hehe!
everyone has been trying to convert me to 2000...wonder if it's worth it...hate shelling out $8-10 and it sucks :P
hi theresa
not bad but if you have shorter, stubbier lashes maybe not so much!
hi tanya!
Hmmm rimmel glam eyes? Have to check it out ;-)
this is kinda worth the $4 price tag...hey who can complain about $4 bucks ;)
