Etude House I Can't Help Smiling

Etude House has updated it's main portal (Korean site) with a brand new collection entitled I Can't Help Smiling!

The collection seems to be centered around a brand new perfume of the same name. Although I'm not particularly interested in the fragrance (I find most of Etude House's fragrances smell somewhat old ladyish!) I am quite excited about getting my hands on the new makeup items and cleansing oils introduced with the Etude House I Can't Help Smiling collection!

The collection includes a highlighting bead set with cute fluffy puff in the same vein as Guerlain Meteorites but with a Benefit Highlighter packaging style! Cute! Also available is a lipgloss mini trio and what appears to be a quad gift set of lip balms!

And finally a few new cleansing oils entitled Etude House Cleansing Dream and also a few cream cleansers I believe.

I wouldn't call this a holiday collection per say but it does look like a rather nice line up of goodies from Etude House. Sadly, I have no prices as of yet since the Etude House shop is not yet showing the products nor am I able to get a hold of the new makeup video for these goodies as the site is boggled down as usual! Rant! I'm going to try to get my hands on these items so I can appease my appetite for new Etude House goodies and bring you the deets on whether you need 'em!

Loving this collection?

Want it all?

Not so much!

hey muse! oooh! very cute! from what i understand, the entire line is actually a special collection/collaboration with robert ryan, a graphic designer best known for his work with paul smith. i'm curious as to what that quad is, because it's called the "color pot kit," and i see the pink and a silver...??? lip and eye? who knows?

anyway, once again, let me offer my translation services and list the products here for you, so that you'll have a better idea of what's being offered (really, though, your guess'll be as good as mine):

- So Lovely Smile EDT (scent is described as "sparkling water fruity floral - a tart and sweet apple, lime fragrance")
- So Lovely Smile Perfume Jelly
- So Lovely Smile Everyday Perfume Spray

- Smile Cheek Ball
- Smile Color Pot Kit
- Smile Lipgloss Trio
- Smile Lip Tint

- Cleansing Dream Light Cleansing Oil
- Cleansing Dream Moisture Cleansing Oil
- Cleansing Dream Fresh Cleansing Water
- Cleansing Dream Mild Cleansing Milk
- Cleansing Dream Perfect Cleansing Cream
- Cleansing Dream Soft Cleansing Foam

anyway, hope that helps! hope you had a good thanksgiving. enjoy the rest of your week!

hi MiuMiu!

How are you?

Blush beads would def be better! We can hope they are pigmented enough to give a bit of a flush to our cheeks though ;)

jkim to the rescueeeeeeeeee! :)

I thought it was collaborated with him but no idea who he is hehe!

I wasn't sure either but it looks like lip balms..but that would be fab if it was eyeshadows or even cream shadows!

You're so fantastic thanks for listing these MWAH!

Now that I see what the scent is..it does sound kinda nice but I've been always disappointed somewhat with EH perfume so may avoid it.

any clue what the difference is between light, moisture and fresh cleansing oil?

Thanks for the translation you're a star :)

Tday was fabs how was yours?

Enjoy the rest of your week hun! Happy hump day!

my thanksgiving was good.

re: those cleansers - your guess is as good as mine. they don't have any product descriptions anywhere on the site (none that i can find, anyway), so i have no idea what the difference is other than maybe the usual skin type differences. shrug.

i know, i didn't know who that guy was either until i googled him. ... to be quite honest, i'm still not quite sure who he is. lol! ;-)

This collection is now out in Etude House stores in Korea: I just picked up my haul today! I got the lipgloss trio set and the 2 lip tints. I passed on the highlighter beads as I know I won't use them, (I never used my Guerlain Meteorites when I had them) but the box is cute and it comes with an adoreable soft ribboned downy puff. Is ribboned even a word??

I might get the fragrance for fun: it's not the most sophisticated scent, really fruity and tart but fits the brand really well. Whilst I was there I finally picked up all 3 of the Peach Beam Blushers from the Peach collection. Yes, really late with these but I've been holding back forever and gave in today.

I hope you like the new "I can't stop smiling" collection when you get your hands on it!

hi lucy!

I have friends in singapore, korea, and japan who get them for me. I did a shopping guide for Japanese cosmetics which might help :)

You can find it here:

Hope this helps!
