Givenchy Mister Bright Review & Swatches
The Muse thinks that sometimes the saying "as you get older you get better" isn't always necessarily true.
For example the Muse thinks that as Bruce Campbell gets older he fails to get better in a major way! Now if I was Bruce I'd have left the industry when I was still the cult horror God of The Evil Dead Series....but ado...a 100 lbs later and Bruce feels the need to continue trying to recapture his youth by appearing in bad budget films that never quite get it right.
Now the Muse can go on and on about epic fails in the movie industry but she won't bore you with the details. The moral of this story is the Muse knows that she doesn't always get better as she gets older and sometimes she needs a little bit of help making herself better.
In this case the Muse needs a tiny bit of help with her under eye woes...a bit of brightening, a little lightening up....in this case she whips out her trusty Givenchy Mister Bright Touch of Light Pen! A click and a swipe and my eyes are looking more awake, well rested, and bright eyed and busy tailed!
Now Mister Bright has a great knack for being a multitasking demon! He works as a great highlighter on cheeks, sides of nose, or anywhere you want to add a bit of light! He highlights and contours your face beautifully with a pink pearl luminance! He can also be used to highlight your brow bone or a dab or two on your lids and on the inner and outer corner of the eyes to create the illusion of 8 hours of sleep when you only had 4!
Mister Bright comes packaged in a click pen! Dontcha just love click pens? The Muse does! One click should be plenty of product to do your entire face as you're not going to want to use a heap of this since it does contain a healthy amount of shimmer. The formula is a thick pink cream which blends effortlessly. If you've ever tried Benefit Eye Bright Pencil this is virtually the same concept but in a liquid form plus it works much better! You can use Mister Bright under your eyes as well but do be careful! Only a dab for under the eyes as you're not wanting to get insane shimmer overload by dabbing a whole lot. Remember, Mister Bright isn't a concealer but a highlighter so use him to brighten up your dull complexion and wake up your tired eyes but don't expect him to conceal major problems! If you're wanting to get the most out of the product you can also use it as an all over color wash on your lid and eye area as a cream eyeshadow! The effect is a illuminating pearl pink wash of color that lights up the eyes and gives an angelic look to the face!
The Muse likes Givenchy Mister Bright so much she's Muse Approving it for purchase! At $31.50 USD he doesn't break the bank either considering a little goes a long way plus anything that helps me get better as I get older is always in fashion with the Muse! The Muse sure does think Givenchy Mister Bright Touch of Light Pen does the trick at creating the illusion of perfection.

I must humbly disagree with your assessment of Bruce. He is MOST excellent on Burn Notice, playing a slightly dissipated (ok, really dissipated) but still awesome ex-operative and the comic foil for the uber-scrumptious Jeffrey Donovan.
Just saying'. ;-)
hiya maggie!
I don't watch Burn Notice sadly ;( He's a killer actor and always adds some seriously great humor to every character he portrays but his recent films leave much to be desire..especially his forays into B movie horror films eep...
might have to check out burn notice and give props to Bruce :)
Oooh this looks lovely. :)
it is it is anitacska :) plus it brightens up my eyes which is always a plus ;)
Hi Muse,
Would you recommend using this instead of lemon-aid, or instead of a concealer like Bobbi Brown? Also, is it better than the Dior pen?
Thanks!
hi anonymous
absolutely no on all accounts.
This is simply a highlighter and will not work at replacing any of the products you mentioned. It does a fab job of offering a brighter eye but you still need your other items such as the dior pen, your concealer, and lemon aid. This won't perform the functions of those :)
This simply offers a bit of a pink shimmer which highlights and gives the illusion of a "brighter" eye area.
Hope this helps!
