The Muse was thinking she should contact Urban Decay and have this renamed to "The Muse's Box of Favorite Shadows"....has a certain ring to it dontcha think? Most of the shades included in this palette are my top favs from Urban Decay so it's super nice having them all tucked away in one palette! Great for travel! Likey!

The palette retails for $36 USD but since it's 30% Off you'll get it for $25 USD which is $2.50 USD per a shadow....um can you say super deal? If you're new to Urban Decay eyeshadow here in lays a great excuse to try the shadows out! The shadows have always been a favorite of mine even way before I was a MAC junkie and they remain on the top of my Must Have At All Costs list (another words if I needed desert island essentials...Urban Decay Eyeshadow comes before food and water!). The shadows are pigmented and contain a super dose of wonderful shimmer!

The palette is carefully constructed to avoid a mess which I can appreciate. It has a slick and beautiful bamboo cover that slides upwards to reveal the shadows. Swatch, swipe, and apply with the included brush (although the brush is a tiny bit small so you might want to use your own brush) and simply slide the cover back into place for storage! The design on the cover is a beautiful floral with butterflies and the Urban Decay logo!

I created three separate looks using the palette but honestly you can get at least twenty separate looks or more if you're creative!

Uzi and Kiddie Pool

\

Half Baked and Twice Baked

Grifter and Flash

Honestly, the Urban Decay Sustainable Shadow Box is well worth checking out and Muse Approved for purchase! It'll make an ideal gift for a makeup lover or seriously you know you so want it for yourself! Rather then purchase each shadow individually might as well indulge in this and get ten super shades plus a Urban Decay Primer Potion!

Sweet!

The Muse loves it and thinks you will too!

Want it?

OMG I've seen Dunecat before, only it had blue eyes.
Soo adorable!
The spice must flow!
If you haven't heard the dune techno stuff, it is a must!

I must be on a brown kick. I'm seriously debating that palette.
YDK, Twice Baked, and Half Baked look really appeal to me in that set.
I also think Grifter, Uzi, Flash, and Kiddie pool look pretty.
I'm already getting Oil Slick and Flipside in the other palette I picked up (foreshadow).

I keep thinking Toasted, Vert, vapor, Crash and URB might be pretty to pick up, too.

Gah, but I must behave!
You make me want to be SOOOO naughty.

Twice Baked and Half Baked look GREAT on you.
Grifter and Flash look really pretty, too.

lol! I love the movie Dune and I don't care if it was a flop! The books were good too:) I also love those pics with commentary. My favorite is the seal sticking his head above the water with the caption "sumfin just brushed my leg" The big eyes make it so funny. Thanks for sharing the funnies!! And the makeup too, of course!

Hey Muse! If you buy from Avon anytime soon, try to check out the Jillian Dempsey for Avon Essential Beauty Palette. I just ordered the warm one, it looks very promising for only 7.99!!

I'm bad. I broke down. I ordered this and I think I'll either return the foreshadow palette or gift it to someone for the holidays.

Musey! I love this palette too! I actually picked it up a few months back when that damn email went out about a holiday presale on these. I was thinking they were going to run out. Yeah...jumped the gun! My only gripe is how gritty-glittery Uzi is. Major fall out on my cheekies!

I laughed so hard at that Dune cat, thanks for that!!!! Obviously I am a geek :)

The palette looks yummy, although I am forced to go without e/s at the moment, because my skin is so sensitive and reacts to everything right now, thank God I still tolerate mascara, that is something I couldn´t be without.

Great review!!!

I don't have the deluxe one sadly :P I have all the deluxe shadows aside from one or two so that's why I didn't bother indulging in the deluxe palette but that doesn't prevent me from wanting the damn thing lol!

hey alyssa!

mmmmm it really depends as ammo has some killer shades in it as well like maui wowie plus it comes with a full side udpp!!!!!

I think it depends on what colors you are wanting...I think this one has louder colors where as the ammo has a few softer shades :) they are both REALLY GOOD :)

I hope this helps eep!

Best lolcatz evar. My gales of laughter at 6AM have official made me a hated member of my guesthouse...but that is awesome.

And that eyeshadow looks awesome. I found, of all things, an Urban Decay counter here (Japan) but it's not fully-stocked. None of the umpty-million lipsticks, nor that marshmallow-smelling body glitter (I think it also comes in honey if I recall?), though they have the full complement of shadows. I hope they stock this one...

Thank you for showing me new things!
