Bath & Body Works Fall and Winter Collection 2008
I'm having my morning tea (geeks need geeky tea! Gotta love it! I'm partial to Prager's blend) with some obscenely bad for you crumpets (these things should be illegal! Which is why I don't buy them often! Bad! Bad! Bad!) this morning and I'm flipping through Bath and Body Works Look Book for Fall 2008.
I can't help but a tad bit disappointed as it appears they aren't releasing as much as they did last year. I think this accounts for the spending habits of Americans right now in a way as last year they had a slew of items released and this year I imagine they are trying to keep it simple.
Anyway!
It's an interesting selection however I think it's safe to say the Temptation 3-1 Shower Gels won't be making a reappearance anytime soon and they may very well be gone for good aside from possibly small releases such as the Hello Sugar! Collection.
Typical coupons inside!
Black Amethyst is making a guest starring appearance on a five page spread lay out in the booklet. I got a lab sample of this and it's rather deep and dark for Bath & Body Works. I'm testing it out and will review it shortly!
A new Spa line entitled Shea Cashmere will be available shortly. It seems like a comfortable scent that sports major moisturizing benefits. I'm curious about this one!
Body Cream $17.50 USD
Bubble Bath $18 USD
Body Lotion $16.50 USD
Although the Sleep Collection is not new they have added quite a few items to the line up that are interesting. The items are scented with Warm Milk and Honey and are limited edition. Available as of September 3rd online and in shops. These come in heavy glass bottles and are definately vanity worth. They normally come in Lavender or Vanilla Lavender variations however I think that the Warm Milk and Honey sounds rather fitting for a "sleep" collection!
Warm Milk and Honey Aromatherapy Pillow Mist $10 USD
Warm Milk and Honey Aromatherapy Body Lotion $13 USD
Warm Milk and Honey Aromatherapy Massage Oil $16 USD
Warm Milk and Honey Aromatherapy Luxe Bath $16.50 USD
Cancer survivor Marisa Accocella Marchetto teamed up with C.O. Bigelow to create an exclusive kit the proceeds of which go to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Each Kit is $36 USD and contains an array of C.O. Bigelow goodies housed in a cute cardboard suitcase.
A very small sneak peak of this year's Winter/Holiday Collection:
Bit disappointed that the same old flavors are back for the Holiday selections. Although I am happy to see Twisted Peppermint back. A new Bath Parfait is being introduced as well which looks quite lovely.
Holiday Traditional Items will be available as soon as October 13! And as of November 3rd the Foaming Bath Parfait will be available for $12.50 USD.
And finally a few autumn bits to keep us happy!
All in all a rather nice selection of goodies from Bath & Body Works!
Lemming any of these items?
Yearning for the Temptations to come back?

Yeah, this isn't as exciting as years past. I don't really care much for the holiday smells - although I like them in the antibacterials soaps. But the lotions are too sugary sweet.
My mom loves the sleep collection and uses the pillow spray a lot!
not at all :P They are pretty sweet :P I do like the Candy Apple well enough but meh...I love the twisted peppermint ;)
I wish they'd have indulged in some new scents but guess they are playing it safe!
Does she love the milk and honey stuff or just the lavender? I have the lavender version and loves it ;)
Just the lavender vanilla stuff. It is really great and I do like to use the lotion before bed!
What's Black Amethyst supposed to smell like? I'm definitely interested in peeking at this collection :)
hey laura ;)
makes me sleep..probably all in my head though hehe!
hey dd
it's very warm and dark, bit exotic. It's not my typical scent of choice.
Unsure if I love it or not yet.
It's interesting to say the least and def different for BBW who normally keeps things fresh and light!
I'm actually excited about the Cashmere collection and the pumpkin candles. I didn't like the black amethyst scent at all...way too strong for me. I got the book a couple of weeks ago when I stocked up on hand soaps...alot of good coupons and I already used one!
hiya shefali!
My sis is too :)
Too strong for me too! Wanted to love it but wasn't my typical blend that's fur sure!
LOL funny...my sister too..she stocked up on the handsoaps as well!
I work in a bath and body works store and we just got some of the shea cashmere hand cream in. I absolutely love it! I out the cream on and it leaves the hands with what a think smells like the old Fresh Vanilla scent crossed with Sensual Amber. My skin was left very soft. 4 hours later, my hands were still soft, and the frangrance was still lingering. I cannot wait to try the rest of the collection.
hello kate
thanks for stopping by and leaving commenting and giving us all the inside scoop on shea cashmere.
I've very excited to try :)
I'm really excited about the entire selection and it sounds like it'll smell heavenly!
Must have!
Thanks very much!
