Viktor & Rolf for Shu Uemura

Two of my favorite designers, Viktor & Rolf, have teamed up with Shu Uemura to design three amazing lash designs for the Tokyo Lash Bar this year.

The Couture Collection makes the Muse simply quiver in delight while drool drips from her mouth!

Have you seen these lashes?

Is it terrible to admit that I want to buy at least two pairs just because they are so stunning!?

Each lash set is encased in a gorgeous white box complete with a masquerade eye mask and costs $95 USD.

I can't think of a more wicked and indulgence purchase than these.

At first I had two sets in my cart but I've since decided that I should show some control and just purchase one! Now it's all about firguring out which pair to buy!

It's a toss up between the Wing and Swirl versions....I'm thinking the Swirl is very Muse-like!

Ugh having such a hard time not buying both! Ahhhhhh!

And yes, before you say it, these are an utterly extravagant, spoiled, and self-indulged purchase! But the Muse has decided she deserves it and no one can change her mind!

Expect ridiculous amounts of pictures soon and possible...if I'm so inclined...a Face of the Day sporting these...it'll have to be a special occasion...hmm...New Year's? My Birthday? Just because?

Stay tuned! Can't wait? Check out Erika's haul at Makeup Bag!

For now I leave you with promo pictures:

Swirl Couture

Rhombus Couture

Wing Couture

Gagging for these?

Want a pair for yourself?

Loving 'em?

Tell the Muse!

I think the swirl are pretty.
I've never done false lashes.
Are they a pita to get on?

wow so pretty! for a second i thought they were $9.50 (lol i wish) but then my eyes adjusted and realized it was $95. wing is just so insanely gorgeous! but i'm also loving swirl. if it was me (like i could ever afford it) i'd buy 2 of each, cause i'd feel like i might regret it if i don't. but then again don't listen to me i'm just being a bad influence.

Hi there,

The Viktor & Rolf lashes look fun! I hope you are able to decide without too much agony. ;D

The Rocker Eye Kit is fantastic except for the small size. I agree the smaller size is chintzy.

I received my Dandy items today so look for a preview of the goodies tomorrow. I went with almost everything. The mascara, eyeliner, lipstick and lipgloss (but only in the red), both eye palettes, and the pocket beauty case.

I already received my Jill Stuart LE items for fall. I think you'd really like the new eye palettes despite no new color combinations. I'm going to review them this weekend. The new eye palettes are much improved (finer shimmer, more pigment).

Other than that, I'm going to get a few of the Magie Deco items, some more Jill Stuart, and possibly a Cosme Decorte AQ eye palette from Japan. Mostly I am waiting for the Armani Python collection to arrive at Saks. I found the Lunasol collection to be a bit on the disappointing side and hope the holiday coffret is much better.

Miss you too!

Lots of love!

Ooooohhhh, I think the Swirl is very Musey!
As for me, I love the Rhombus...
And I would wear them just to clean the house...cause I can! Fabulousness needs no specific time or space!

Hi Muse!

Amazing eyelashes, I saw them in the Shu's store near Carnaby St in London, and they are spectacular.

Have you seen the LE lipstick Rock the vote by Stila? Gorgeous red!

I'm swapping all my MAC lipsticks, I found out I'm allergic to them :(

Lots of hugs!

These scare me because they remind me of clowns :( And I am terrified of clowns!

But if I just HAD to choose one, I think I like the swirl couture the best. :D I can't wait to see you in some fotds!! Hopefully your loveliness will detract from the clown-quality of the lashes :(

hey dd!

I went with the swirl ;) They are gorgeous right?

They are a big pain to get on :P These I'll prob never use. Something for the beauty vault I fear hehe!

Some girl say it's a snap to do but I find it's a big drama to get them in place plus the glue is simply a mess :P even with the help of a lash tool it's still dramas!

no likey the drama attached to apply falsies!

hi betsy!

LOL it was hard to say the least :) Another nutty purchase for the beauty vault!

I'm so pleased you loved the rocker kit..I'm seriously considering getting a 2nd one as back up!

I'm very disappointed at the size. BE has really gone cheesy lately with size and price!

Fantastic looking forward to your review!

I got the mascara but haven't yet picked up the palettes. I'm skipping the lippie stuff for now.

I'm waiting on my JS and hopefully it will be here today. Did you manage to get the LE palette? It was sold out all over Tokyo :( my friend was unable to get it!

I ended up with two of the palettes and one blush from the fall goodies!

I'm looking forward to getting mine!

I have my eye on a CD palette too. And some singles from MD as they look gorgeous!

Looking forward to the xmas goodies for sure ;)

Miss you too!
Been swamped as bloody hell between the blog and life plus traveling about! Will email soon!

Love ya!
