Bobbi Brown Mauve Collection Sneak Peek

I see a sneak peek below of the new Bobbi Brown Mauve Collection!

Excited?

Me too!

My love and lust for Bobbi continues lately after I spotted the the Bobbi Brown Mauve Collection for Fall. Although the Mauve Collection didn't call out to me I still felt like I might need to test drive it out for myself before making any rash decisions about it!

I'm sure glad I did as I'm beginning to love it! Expect my review sometime this week!

For now I'll leave you with the details about this collection to whet your appetite after my tease sneak peek on the collection above!

The collection consists of a wide variety of interesting shades that are most flattering for the upcoming Fall season. Although I'm not a huge fan of neutral shades the Mauve Face Palette has caught my eye for some reason or another. The collection pretty much focuses on the elegance of simplicity in purple, brown, gray, and mauve colors.

Not exactly exciting bold colors but as you can see from the model's promo image she does manage to pull off a certain elegant, natural beauty look which is why the palette intrigued me. This is very grown up makeup for the Muse's tastes.

Count me curious!

I'll be reviewing some of the collection soon and you'll be pretty surprised at what I have to say about it!

Bobbi Brown's Mauve Collection is available now at your local counters and from Bobbi Brown's website!

This collection is awesome! So far I've only picked up the black mauve liner (gorgeous!!) and the black pearl shimmer gloss.

I am just absolutely in love with the liner!

I am soooooo excited about this collection. I pretty much want everything :P Lol ... I am really excited to see the shimmer liner and the blush on you. I have similar coloring to the model in the ad.. I'm a little lighter and it looks GORGEOUS on her. I need to break out of my pink blush safety net and I think this is a good place to start!

I think black pearl would look so amazing over pixel pink!

hiya melanie :)

I'm normally last to reach for the nudes/neutrals but I think I successfully created a very mature look for myself using the palette ;)

Will post the FOTD and full review in the AM!

Hope you enjoy it ;)

Thanks for the comment!!!!

hey Nosh!

It's really a nice selection of goodies. I used to have a disdain for BB items after getting a crummy palette from them but I've been raving about them since the Metallics collection and can't get enough of the line!

This is a very natural shade for a darker skin tone so don't be scared to try it. It's very mauvey and dirty for lack of a better word. It has that mud like quality to it that's both pinkish/brownish/and sorta purple! Very interesting!

I have two FOTD's to share with this stuff shortly ;)

Prob have it live tomorrow, stay tuned!

Thanks for your great comments! Always enjoy speaking to you!

I think the liner will be part of the permanent collection too, so that is good news. Really, it's very pretty and you need it:) Haha - enabling is fun!

I ordered off of Bobbi Brown's Web site after checking everything out in store and got some great samples. Right now she's offering a new (Metallic too!) eyeshadow in brown stone. It's a decent size too!

I think I must be the only person on the planet to not like Bobbie Brown. I've seen this palette and I just don't find it exciting :/

I checked out the lippies in person and I LOVE the glosses (what a surprise). I might have to go pick some of these up when I earn back the $$ I lost in Tahoe, hee hee.

I love neutral colours, because sometimes I'm too much of a wuss for bright ones! Love the models make up in the pic, especially the lipstick. That would be pretty much my perfect face for work, so will definately have to check this out! My boyfriend is travelling back to Canada in September, and makeup is SOOOOOO much cheaper over in North America, so I'm giving him a long list of stuff to bring me back, he he he.

Morning Laura!

Thank god as I want it now :)

Enabling is evil ;) hehe!

Ooo I didn't see the new metallic shade. I really enjoyed the two I got from Pink Bronzed! Those were interesting shades! I just reviewed the lot from Mauve and I actually was shocked I liked it all as I'm not for nudes :P

Will we see a review for the liner on your site soon maybe? please?

=-)

morning dd!

I was too! I was too! I never liked it. I thought it was boring! But after I grabbed up the metallic palettes from last year I've been in lust since!

This is very different for me but I do love the palette as it created this rather simple, elegant look! When I'm taking a break from aquas, greens, and bright pink this is a welcome change hehe!
