MAC Holiday 2009 Magic, Mirth, and Mischief

Golly it's August and we are already into Holiday 2009. Of course, most important of all, MAC Holiday 2009 debuts soon and Magic, Mirth, and Mischief is a foot...all those things yes but that also happens to be the name of the collection.

Jump ahead for more deets and photos!

Let's not forget this is the full face color story and not the palettes so don't get disappointed too quickly as I was. One thing I adore about this collection's primary image is the fact that it is indeed very festive and holiday-like however I'll proceed to moan about more...mineralized eye shadows? Can you say over done? But as I mentioned I won't whine over much as the fact of the matter is that we still have the palette and gift set selection to look forward to and I'm positive those will be special. Worst than mineralized eye shadows would be the fact that many of these items are repromotes.

Here's what we have to look forward to from MAC Holiday 2009 Magic, Mirth, and Mischief (callin' Harry Potter!):

MAC Holiday 2009 Lipstick
  • Pervette (soft bright pink with violet opalescent shimmer)
  • Utter Fun (fuchsia cherry pink)
  • Surprise Me (mid-tone peach)
  • Total Wow! (blue pink berry)

MAC Holiday 2009 Dazzleglass
  • She-Zam Sheer (silver with silver and red pearl)
  • Jingle Jangle (sheer yellow peach)
  • Phiff! (yellow pink with red and sapphire pearl

MAC Holiday 2009 Cremesheen Glass
  • Ever So Rich (sheer lilac)
  • Partial to Pink (light creamy yellow pink w/light gold pearl)
  • Boy Bait (light neutral beige with pearl)

Softsparkle Eye Pencil
  • Iris Accents (pale violet with silver pearl)
  • Nightsky (true black with silver pearl)

MAC Holiday 2009 Mineralize Eye Shadow Duo
  • Devil-May (light violet)
  • Crescent (silver)
  • Under Your Spell Base (light yellow peach pink)
  • Crescent: (rich copper)
  • Mayhem Base (dirty brown gold)
  • Crescent (silver)
  • Midnight Madness Base (dirty grey brown)
  • Crescent (gold)
  • It’s A Miracle Base (deep blue burgundy)
  • Crescent (gold)
  • Blue Sorcery Base (bright turquoise)
  • Crescent (silver)

Mineralize Blush
  • Su perdu pernatural (mid-tone coral)
  • Conjure Up Dirty (mid-tone plum)

MAC Holiday 2009 Nail Lacquer
  • $$$ Yes Metallic (silver foil)
  • Lucky Number (metallic blue pink)

Overall, I admit I'm not that excited about this line up but I'll hold off my final judgment until I see it all in person, after all, MAC has a way of catching up with us when we actually have a swatch and a play.

What do you think?

Loves it?

Leaves it?

Tell the Muse!

Oh, holy cow, the winter collection is out!

$$$ Yes is back, I actually love that color when it first came out (Heatherette, wasn't it?) I guess there would be a ton of LEs from now until the holiday LE but I'm overdosed on the a while back already.

I don't know what it is, but none of the new and upcoming mac releases are very exciting for me. A few items here and there look interesting, but nothing to get my panties all up in a bunch. Sigh... the makeup junkie in me is disappointed but my wallet is happy! lol
