Lancome Declaring Indigo: Lancome Artliner Eye Liner Indigo Charm Review and Swatches
Some Fall Collections stick in the Muse's head as being unique and interesting. Where as everyone in the makeup world is looking toward warmer browns and golds for Fall, Lancome took a step towards an interesting selection of golds and a dominate shade of blue to make up it's Fall Collection.
Pairing up a deep shade of sapphire blue to reign over it's Fall Collection is probably one of the most interesting ways to gain this Muse's attention.

Although I have yet to get my hands on the Lancome Fall Palettes I will say that the main model's look inspired me to recreate it using other items from my collection. Pairing up sparkling gold with a deep set sapphire blue was indeed a rather unique and interesting Fall look to go with. Although I fail to associate blue with the Fall, I will say I'll gladly take the Lancome Declaring Indigo Fall look and make it my own as it's so strikingly gorgeous and different.
Lancome Artliner Eye Liner in Indigo Charm is a beautiful sapphire jewel blue shade. It's a very true blue color that pairs up wonderfully with gold. It's richness is fitting of royalty but also great for Muse's like myself. The liner is incredibly easy to work with as it has a good formula that doesn't skip or require relining. A simple stroke will get you an even, pigmented line of jewel blue to line with.
In my case I took Lancome Artliner to the next level and used it to dupe the Lancome Declaring Indigo look as seen on the model below.
For my look I gathered a rich warm shade of loose gold shadow and placed it all over my lids and lined my lower lash line with the same shade. Taking a small liner brush I painted Lancome Artliner Eye Liner in Indigo Charm in the outer v of my eye and blended it out and slightly upward into my lid. I lined half of my lower lash line with the liner and proceeded to smudge it into the gold already in place. The look is fairly easy to create and doesn't require much blending or skill as the liner is incredibly creamy and easy to work with. Although I imagine Lancome didn't create Artliner for this purpose it does work perfectly as a shadow as well as an eye liner.
My completed look is much like the model's with a shade of blue dominating my eyes but a nice twist of shimmering gold to contrast the smoldering blue.
Overall, Lancome Declaring Indigo has some very promising pieces particularly the Artliner in Indigo Charm which is versatile enough to line eyes with and use as a cream shadow to lend a certain mystery to eyes. Lancome Fall promises a bolder, fresher, more unique look when compared with many of the same repetitive shades of brown that Fall is associated with. Something different and exciting is always in order the Muse thinks.
Likey very much and Muse Approved for purchase. I must get my hands on the Lancome Fall Eye Quads as those look stunning!

i did a gold-and-indigo look with the Stila Pearl palette that i need to do again and photograph....it came out so well and made my eyes look exotic.
i used a liner brush with the indigo and did a thick cat's eye, and then filled in the empty lid with the gold shade. lasted all day and was a nice break from neutral- i felt like Cleopatra.
