Soap & Glory Touch & Glow Daily Radiance Moisture Lotion Review

Count the Muse beyond please that Soap & Glory didn't take long at all to bring it's new skincare collection to the US. Released on Boots UK early in May I was shocked when it popped right into my Target merely a month or less later. Nice work Soap & Glory!

I recently went a little Soap & Glory mad when it was on sale at Target and picked up quite a few staple items plus much of the skincare bits and bobs which accounts for my endless reviews lately on the brand. Hope you aren't minding too much. As I try hard to search out good beauty budget options as per your requests I thought that Soap & Glory was both budget friendly, high quality, and fun which is why I choose quite a few items for review.

Today I'm taking a look at Soap & Glory Touch & Glow Daily Radiance Moisture Lotion and I'll tell you what I think after the jump!

Soap & Glory Touch & Glow Daily Radiance Moisture Lotion is quite an interesting little product. It's a basic facial lotion but with a little something extra that could appeal to those who like bronzers.

The lotion contains little beads that burst (or should burst) upon contact with your skin. These beads are little bronzing beads which deliver the "glow" to your skin that the product advertises. So basically you're getting a facial lotion that has a tiny hint of tint to it.

The formula is light, decently moisturizing, and quite good for Summer wearin' and tearin'. I think it might work decently on dry, oily, and sensitive skin as the formula is really light so I'm doubtful it'll clog pores. I doubt I can make proper use of it in the Winter though as it doesn't have nearly enough moisturizing benefits for my skin but for light wear in the Summer it's ideal.

Now...the concept of the bronzing beads is a cute idea however it doesn't exactly work unless you burst the beads between your finger tips. If you apply the lotion onto your face even with proper pressure the beads just slip and slide around without bursting. However, if you apply a small amount of lotion to your fingertips you can burst them easily and apply from there. It's not too big a deal but it would work better if I can just apply and burst from the get go.

Honestly, unless you're super duper pale you won't really see any "glow". It gives a decent dewy look to skin but unless you apply a whole lot you really won't see a considerably different in your skin nor will you experience the glow the product advertises.

I love the concept of Soap & Glory Touch & Glow Daily Radiance Moisture Lotion but buy it for the inexpensive price tag, buy it for the cute packaging, buy it for a nice, light Summer facial lotion, however don't buy it because you want to glow because sadly you won't.

I like this. Not a bad moisturizer for the warm days of Summer ahead. I probably won't purchase it again as I'm more a Lush girl as you already know but it's a decent enough product if you're looking for a cheaper facial lotion that won't make your wallet scream out in pain!

Anyone try?

Loves it?

Leaves it?

Is it something you'd be willing to try?

Tell your Muse!
