C.O. Bigelow Power Berry Mask Review

Yesterday I was telling you about Clarins Super Restorative Replenishing Comfort Mask which is very nice but pretty expensive too! Sad sigh. Have no fear the Muse can cheap it up for you.

I recently hauled a few bits and bobs from C.O. Bigelow's Face Collection when it was buy two get two free at Bath and Body Works. One new item they introduced is the Power Berry Mask which is a moisturizing mask treatment for nourishing and restoring moisture to skin.

I dunno if I'd call this cheap as it's $18, that's somewhat high for C.O. Bigelow but I do generally like their products so indulge I did (plus the sale didn't hurt the price too much either).

The C.O. Bigelow Power Berry Mask is a light purple shade and smells subtly of fruit and floral. Of course it makes the wild claims of how incredible the acai berry is for wrinkles, skin, etc....we've all heard those before. Simply put it delivers nice hydration to my skin and it's cheap and that's what matters most to me. Hey, if it helps with anti-aging in the long wrong I won't complain!

I apply the mask and leave it on for 20 minutes you can do 10 as per the instructions. I just leave it on longer to get the full benefit of a moisturizing treatment. After the time is up I rinse with cold water and my face feels nicely softened and moisturized. It's nothing dramatic but it does offer moisture where moisture is needed as my face is dry as all hells lately.

Few facts....

I read some bad reviews that said this made a few folks break out, haven't experienced that but their was a slight sting when I applied. Barely noticeable to my hard as nail skin but I imagine if you're sensitive this could possibly irritate or break your skin out so beware. Secondly, I got it free as I got it on sale but I'm really unsure if I'd indulge further at $18 as I'd rather just shell out the rest of my cash for the Clarins mask but if it's on sale again I can see myself picking it up for sure.

Not an amazing facial treatment but not terrible either.

Anyone try?

Loving it?

Tell it!
