First Impressions: MAC Style Warriors Review, First Impressions, Product Photos

Here's a quickie sneaky peek at MAC Style Warriors which officially releases May 28th. It's pretty much widely available everywhere at the moment since it was available for pre-order and MAC had parties and such going on for it's launch! MAC Pro had it weeks in advance too although I didn't hope over for a gander, shame on the Muse.

The Muse is hauling more of what was released shortly but this is what she has so far to show you. Just a bit of makeup porn to tide you over until I do my full review!

One thing I love about MAC Style Warriors is that beautiful bronze look but the touches of popping color scattered throughout that break up all that tanned skin. Quite nice!

Two shadows from the collection, Vibrant Grape and Bright Future, are definately just the pop I'm talking about. Bright Future is a loud, buttery yellow and Vibrant Grape is a stunning purple.

Heavy on the bronze cheeks chicas! MAC Style Warriors Bronzing Powder in Solar Riche is a deep, dark bronze shade sure to give a crispy look to skin! As for the Muse she tames it with a little cheek stain thrown under it or sometimes on top so it looks like an interesting bronze, flushed look!

Plenty more bronze where that came from with MAC Blush in Eversun. This one is a little orange, a little brown, and plenty of bronze all mixed in tight. Again, I find it's best and most flattering for my medium fair skin when I use a touch of cheek stain under suck a bronze color.

For the lips a Brave New Bronze lipstick looks slightly boring but built up it's a flattering nude peach lip shade.

Not everyone can rightfully pull of purple but Purple Rite may be making a special appearance on your MAC Style Warriors wish list!

Loving MAC Lipglass in Gold Rebel! Such a gorgeous sparkling peachy gold creation. Not so sure about Style Warrior though...whoa...it's nearly black! Eep!

Now for my favorite part, MAC Lustre Drops! Three colors are available and so far I have one, Bronze Hero. Love, love this product. Great for multitasking as cheek color or mixing with shadow and pigments. Really an interesting product and looking forward to hauling the other two shades!

That's all for now folks! More hauling ahead from MAC Style Warriors so this one is to be continued! What I have tried from the collection I am loving. Quite a few items in the collection are keepers. I'm looking forward to doing some looks with the items I do have and heading to MAC to haul the rest of the collection.

What do you think so far?

Have you hauled Style Warriors yet?

What did you get?

I like the packaging, but I didn't feel compelled to buy anything.

i like MAC colours and styles, but have rarely purchased their products except for Viva Glam stuff which is both charitable and pretty.
BUT
I am loving Style Warriors! that yellow shadow and the bronzers and lipgloss are calling my name.

Muse! I hauled so much of this collection! I think this may be my favorite so far. I just think it's so great for summer, plus it's a great set of colors for me!

I managed to go into MAC and swatch everything, but I didn't buy anything..nothing truly lured me in...

Although I think I may go back for Purple Right and Style Warrior..if you apply Style Warrior lightly it's a pretty bronze color.

I bought a Sun Rush lustre drops yesterday because I've been lemming for a warm highlighter for the summer. Originally I was gonna opt for Clinique's liquid illuminator in Peach, but it seemed like too much product for me. The colour itself is kinda close to my asian skintone (NC30), but I'm sure once I get slightly tanned it'll show up more. Although for now I like the glow it gives me :)

For me, MAC does nothing. I tried maybe 4 of their products because of the hype on the net about them, but I returned every item. I think the products look cheap because of the packaging but I thought that maybe the actual product is worth the money... Not really. I have a lot of cheaper products that the quality is so much better or at the same price point but look prettier.
Still the look of this collection is an improvement but for me, it's not worth the trip to the cosmetic counter...

Eversun is gorgeous! My kind of color definitely. This is a great haul :) I don't think I'll be getting anything though since nothing really screams at me to get it.

BTW, I sent you an e-mail about 2 days back. I hope it managed to reach you :)

Can't wait to see your review. Honestly, I don't like the packaging at all! I can see why some people like it but it doesn't appeal to me. I'm super pale and pretty cool toned so I'm not sure this is the collection for me. The Lustre drops look pretty cool. Can't wait to hear what you think!

hi anonymous!

ya good choice. You can always mix it with shadows when your skin gets too dark for it to show up :-D It''ll intensify your shadows nicely and make 'em stick around longer!

hi Laura.

I can't argue that MAC's appeal def isn't in it's simple packaging. MAC is one of those brands you either really love or just can't care about. I sometimes wish I was in the can't care about category :-D Cheaper on my budget!

hi sue!

umm face, eyes, anything really. Mix 'em up with shadows. :-D Sparkle Sauce is alot less like these as it has a thinner consistency and isn't as pigmented, these are big time pigmented and have a bit of a thicker formula :-D

my pleasure! Hugs!
