Beauty News: Avon Makup Gets A Makeover
The Muse is fond of telling you that this isn't your mama's Avon anymore! Avon has made steps to creating an incredible product line as of late that continues to impress this Muse with each release.
You can be sure that the Muse was quite happy to hear that Avon Cosmetics was getting a makeover! It's quite exciting that the line is revamping it's packaging to be more appealing to fans and newer customers alike.

With the help of Jillian Dempsey Avon Cosmetics is undergoing a dramatic transformation. From nail varnish to lipsticks and powder and shadows, the entire Avon line is getting a new pair of clothes! Not only has the packaging changed but many items are sporting a brand new, improved formula. The new packaging is available as of April so be on the look out for it when purchasing your Avon bits and bobs!
The Muse for one is quite excited about the new packaging and looks forward to seeing it in person.

Sad to say, this looks like a Chanel knock-off :(
omg i thought it was chanel, i guess they are trying to be more high-er end, am wondering is the price point going to change as well:-\
looks like they want to appear more high end...no shame in that...quad looks very chanel tho.

OMG!! The e/s quad reminds me so much of my fav Lancome Color Focus Quads. But hey, I like the new look of Avon....changing with time........way to go!!

Great minds! I thought they looked like Lancome too! Lots of folk said chanel but I thought it was more Lancome :-D

OK, everyone can so OH, this is such a Chanel/Lancome knockoff, but did you TRY it yet?? I did, and those eye shadows are well pigmented, silky and HUGE for $5.99. I purchased the Quad Shadows in Fresh Cut Greens and Purple Haze and was pleasantly surprised by the size and quality. No, Muse, this AIN'T you Mama's AVON and my Mama used to SELL Avon!!!

I haven't tried yet but damn straight it's very lancome-ish! I didn't get the chanel vibe from it simply because Chanel is a bit more of a substantial palette compared to this but def was feeling the lancome love in the design!
Omg I want now :-D It's such an awesome price...I may need to haul one or two for a review :-D
I've always been an avon snob and never used it but suddenly last year with the intro of Cynthia Rowley's bits I suddenly started exploring more and loving it. So not my mama's avon :D
hm, am not too sure if Msia will get the new packaging though. But if they upgrade the packaging, i hope it won't be more exp!

It's definitely Lancome cos the e/s are round. Chanel's e/s quads are a bit squarish and dome-shaped while Lancome's is flat round. Will do a comparison in my blog soon. but gotta borrow one of ur pix. Credits will be to you, of course! :)
