Reader's Request: MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Refined Swatches

Sorry I really should have posted these with my original haul post from MAC SugarSweet. As requested from a few readers here are some swatches from MAC Minralize Skinfinish in Refined.

I was visiting on Cozy a few days ago and many of the girl's were impressed with how pigmented Refined was. Just a note I thought it applied best and deepest when used with a kabuki brush. It works a treat as a blush so long as you buff the color into cheeks with a kabuki. With any other brush it acts more as a highlighter! Just thought I should add that if you were curious.

Kind of reminds me of the Pur Minerals bronzer i got for free with a starter kit. I love that marbled look with cosmetics--makes it feel more natural and pretty just like marble, granite and so forth.

Yes indeed they do! I've yet to try my pink blusher from Pur Minerals since it came with the stuff I ordered last from Ulta. Always wanted to try more of the Physician's Formula stuff because of its quality, reputation and price. But marbled makeup is good because you could take some of the colors from say this bronzer and use it as an eyeshadow or blend them all for the original purpose I would think. I assume if you can use something on your face then you by rights could use it anywhere: eyes, lips, cheeks and so forth. It also looks pretty sitting out on the counter like a piece of art work!

I've always wanted to try the pur minerals blush it always looks sotempting!

PF is AWESOME! It's one of the few DS brands I like :-D

Absolutely agreed they work great as a multitasking makeup! That's particularly the case with MAC MSF and even UD HB Bronzer :-D

more bang for our buck!

Wow, new vegas was re-promoted? I'll cross my fingers and wait as patiently as I can for the rest.. I'm so tempted to buy online but they're mostly used or expensive.. My only one is gold deposit, that was what u meant right? I think the other one is soft & gentle.. Thanks for the info. =)

oh yes it was.

beautiful shade :-D

they are terribly expensive :( have you tried MUA? Ebay is ridiculous. If I see any at CCO I'll let you know :D

and yes sorry gold deposit :-D

Soft and Gentle
Gold Deposit and I think So Ceylon is the other..it's three permanent :-D

Every so often they do a mineral repromote. I remember paying nearly 70 bucks for a stupid petticoat :P

my god I must be nuts LOL

but honestly sooner or later popular shades be it eyeshadow or MSF do pop back up!

;D

also check specktra on occasion people sell off brand new ones for 30 bucks which isn't too too bad price wise!
