Musings of the Day: MAC Attack!
I'm such a makeup geek so I'm of course loving this Musing!
So spill it...just single shadows....How many MAC shadows do you have in your stash?

Just counting my singles, not my doubles or my palettes, I was surprised to learn I don't have nearly as many MAC single eye shadows as I thought I did!

WOW you beat me by more than half. I would love that many but honestly don't think I would use them all, I already forget about some of the ones I do have. I need to see them all or else I forget. I would love for all my palettes to be full though :)
I only have 1! If you don't count the paint pots... then I have 3. XD;
That's still a pretty fair number! I've got 57 singles
154!! Thumbs up! I think I have at most 20...
I have around 40, singles and I also counted the ones I´ve depotted and put in 15-pan palettes (hope that counts, lol). I also own a lot of quads, though. Not bad for someone who is perfectly fine with the same shade (Blanc Type) day in, day out :)
Omg that's alot of eyeshadows, and that's just your Mac ones ;-O (maybe I'm a wee bit jealous).

I thought I had more..I was kinda relieved I didn't lol!
I try to rotate them around so I can use everything...because if I don't I'll just fixate on one shadow without switching it up ;)

If we're not allowed to count duos, trios and palettes, then I have ONE. :) But I do have 3 mineralize e/s that are singles (Quarry, Mercurial and Lovestone) - do they count? ;) Also have 12 in palettes (2 Dame Ednas and the cool eyes holiday palette). On top of this I have 13 mineralize duos and 6 mineralize trios. So all in all, I own quite a bit of Mac eyeshadows, just not singles.

I used not to "get" Mac, but since I've been following beauty blogs and have seen how much nice stuff there is, I've become more of a fan. I'm really into the mineralize stuff and on top of all those mineralize e/s I own 5 MSFs and a blush too, and can hardly wait for the Grand Duos release. :)

Whoa that's quite a lot of mac shadows. When did you start collecting Mac? What collection inspired you? I was a late comer. I joined from Barbie collection I was hooked ever since. Do you put them in palettes? How do you stash them? I saw some people putting them in those little plastic drawers or those little craft store cases. I depotted all of mine. I know what you mean about having a hard time deciding what to wear. Lol and I can imagine with all your other shadow choices. I have 42 singles alone. My secret to shortcutting and remembering my shadows is that I swatch them by color and brand on my watercoloring note pad. The texture of the paper works well to keep the shadows and I put a blank sheet between swatches to prevent transfer.
After consulting my spreadsheet... 21 single eye shadows, 1 quad, 1 6 palette, 1 trio palette, 6 pigments, 4 paints, 3 paint pots, 30 lippies, at least. Oh and a lip palette, 2 lip pencils, 1 fluidline, 3 liquid liners... 1 blush, 1 shade bender, and 1 shadestick left.

At some point have you taken pix of all your MAC colors? It would probably be cool to see all of your single eye shadow colors.

I can totally relate. I never got mac until I started cp'ing for a friend in England and suddenly I got hooked when I seen all the pretty colors that she was purchasing!
I love MSF with a passion so I'm with you :) they are so so fab! Really a great item :)

I don't. I leave them all in pots...I try to depot but I don't have the nerve, the time, or the patience lol! I have them in little plastic drawers by color :)
awesome idea!!!!!!!! Normally I just make sure I rotate constantly...I try to push stuff I don't use towards the front and stuff I've used too much towards the back :)

I have four singles, and I just bought them: ricepaper, carbon, and two from the arctic chill collection that just came out (shimmery pink and white). I also have the Cult of Cherry quads and the Hello Kitty one with the pink and aqua shades. Sorry for not memorizing all the names. =D
I really just started with MAC with Cult of Cherry. I was always a Hard Candy/Urban Decay girl before. I still love the Hard Candy quads and have them all!

I think I have about 250 - 300. I have 15 palettes full and several quads and holiday sets. Getting ready in the morning is an adventure ;)
