Givenchy Spring Collection 2009
Givenchy always holds a special place in this Muse's heart. The Givenchy Spring Collection 2009 sure does look interesting and I can see myself picking up at least one or two of the items they are offering up!
I'm such a little nit picker but as gorgeous as the items are don't you think they are a tad warm for Spring? I'm more of the mind that lighter, breezier shades are more flattering come Spring. This looks a tad bit too Summery! Not that I'm complaining I firgure I can haul it and stash away until June! Love, love those red lippies!
What do you think?
Trash or Stash!?
Want it?

hi dd! Very summer! I firgure I'll buy and stash away for June hehe!
I love the polish too...oooooooooooooooooo yummieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! But I bite my nails :(
Givenchy has actually lowered it's prices lately so I am very curious to see the tags on this...we may be surprised :)
Musey, I quit biting my nails several years ago because of a few things I found that worked for me:
1. I started polishing my nails a lot
2. I kept nail clippers in my purse, in my bathroom, and on my nightstand.
3. I started using nail strengtheners
I realized I only bit my nails because one would chip or something and I'd be left with an icky rough edge, so by having the clippers constantly with me, I could fix it. The strengtheners help my nails to not chip or break as much, and the polish makes them look pretty. I don't keep them long because I type way too much, but they have a bit of length now.
Speaking of, check out nfu.oh nail polish! I'm soo in love with 57 over 125, and 52 over china glaze's tempest (pix in my blog if you're interested).
*hug*
Have a great weekend!
I forgot to mention, I LOVE the model and how the ad was set up. Great use of color. It's definitely an ad that catches _my_ attention!
Looks like they're continuing the India trend that Hermes started - LOVE!
hey dd!
I'll try out your tips!
I think mostly I'm some sort of glutton for pain lol...I just love picking a hang nail ewww! I really have to stop because it makes my nails look terrible :P
I'm really not so into polish and I such at applying which is why I never bother.....will check out this np you're raving about ;)
thanks hun!
I agree! The model looks divine and like the indian flair they gave the image!
hi youdee!
I love love love it too! But I hope they don't try to go to boho with it!
Yay :)
*hug*
Let me know if you like the polish, and if that helps. I've also been told to pick up cuticle oil and use that every day, but I've yet to do that. I just always was mad at myself that I'd bite, so I had to find ways to trick myself out of it.
hey dd!
I use cuticle oil religiously but I still pick, nip, and bite :P
I've been considering some sort of no bite treatment..tastes bad and I prob won't do it hehe!
Oooh......I think I want it all! *kisses money goodbye* hehe I love the way they patted colour onto the model's part....kinda cool looking! ^_^
LOL totally understand the feeling :)
very! Kinda cultural/Indian flair!
loves it to ghoulina hehe :)
