The Body Shop Spring Collection 2009
I admit that I occasionally get tempted by the cosmetic offerings at The Body Shop although I do still stand by my right to say I find them vastly overpriced! Wince! It's The Body Shop not Sephora after all right? But aside from that I have picked up quite a few pieces here and there that I have been quite pleased with and in all honesty some have even became staple products.
The Body Shop Spring Collection definitely keeps in the theme of Spring with soft shades of pink that I'm sure you'll fancy!
I have my eye on the darker of the two blushes that's for sure but I think I can probably safely skip everything else!
What do you think?
Want any of this collection?
Skipping it in favor of something else?

I want the first blushie! And beh at the eyeshadows - pastels look shitty on me. I need more neutrals.
yeap! i am eyeing on the blusher too!
TBS occasionally comes up with briliant items, but most of the time, you can skip them. :)
i agree that many of their items are overpriced. the quality kind of lacks for a price like that.
but on another note the blushers and shadows do intrigue me. im a sucker for those kinds of blues and the shadow in the promo pic looks very nice as well.
That light pink blush looks divine!!! I just got into The Body Shop stuff, so I'll probably end up buying one thing from this collection (one of those lipsticks looks nice too!!) :)
Oh im very looking forward to this collection too! i love the blue eyeshadow.. it looks so cute! very pastel-like. the third lippie looks pretty too and the pink illuminator really appeals to me. will love the idea of having a healthy pink glow :) :)
love your blog muse, keep posting!
Oh I absolutely love the collection! You have to at least get one of the blushes and a cuple of lipsticks :) The lipsticks are quite sheer and "buttery".
I want it all, lol!!!
I'm a huge Body Shop fangirl, but I usually only get their lipgloss, which is amazing. I'll check out these blushes. Don't hate on the Body Shop, they are such a great company for working for fair prices for workers and being against animal testing and for the environment! For all that I love Sephora I don't get the same sense of wellbeing when I walk into the store.
sarah me too! :) I like the pink blush :) But the rest looks somewhat meh including the very sheer eyeshadows!
plue love that blush! Agreed It's normally hit and miss for me too!
hi ceci! Agreed 100%! It's very hit and miss and the quality doesn't always measure up to the price! I def want the blush but a tad worried the shadows will be a bit sheer! must swatch :)
hi tanya!
I have my eye on the darker blush :) but everything else is a pass for me I think but have to see it all first!
hi cheryl!
Thanks!!! So glad you enjoy my Musings :)
I like the darker blush..the rest I'm kinda meh about...have to swatch it first.
I love the idea of the rosy pink shades though for the Spring!
hi lipgloss bitch!
I'm all over that dark blusher :) I think maybe one or two lippies too but I have to see it all first ;) very nice overall and totally spring like!
LOL Anitacska!
That's perfectly alright! I'm of the mind that we should all indulge in just about everything cosmetic hehe!
yeh its just so damn...DULL LOOKING
that third lipstick looks pretty, but besides that and the blush its not worth waiting for!
hey sarah!
Mmm not so dull as it compliments my medium skin and I like the Spring look of it..but I dunno the shadows are kinda too pale...I like pastels alot but...it's not dull..just boring maybe?
lol lacking a word here!
I'm eyeing the very same blush! It's so lovely! I can't help but be tempted by the powder blue eyeshadow even though I know I won't be able to work it! It just looks so sweet and cute! >_< I adore the promo photo too - it's the perfect flirty spring look! ^_^
I love ittttt Ghoulina :) I just hope it's not frosty...TBS always have that soft frosty finish on blushes. I like the shadows and love pastels but for some reason these don't appeal :)
