MAC Cremesheen Glass Review, Swatches, Photos, and First Impressions

If you weren't particularly a big lover of MAC Dazzleglass you might be relieved and happy to see MAC's latest release entitled MAC Cremesheen Glass.

The Muse wonders if Dazzleglass nay sayers even exist....naaa, can't be!

Jump ahead for a sneak peek at MAC Cremesheen releasing from MAC February 5th, 2009.

As I was saying if by some strange, weird chance you weren't loving all the sparkle and shimmer of MAC Dazzleglass, you'll be pleased with the release of MAC Cremesheen part of the MAC Cremeteam Collection which includes eight brand new shades of gloss in a brand new formula.

If a creamy, dreamier formula of lipglass is what you crave minus any sparkle and shimmer look no further as MAC Cremesheen has you covered. The two colors I tried are of medium pigmentation and quite a lovely creamy texture that glides onto lips leaving behind a glossy pout with a hint of gorgeous color. The texture is considerably less sticky compared to a regular MAC Lipglass but still manages to have a thick, creamy consistency that's ideal for keeping lips moist and shiny!

I tried out Looks like Sin which is a nice solid maroon red and Petite Indulgence (my fav of the two!) which is a popping bubblegum pink.

Although I prefer my glosses with a hint of shimmer or sparkle I can't deny that MAC Cremesheen's are quite a nice little indulgence. I'm looking forward to the release to see what other colors tempt me!

Looking forward to the MAC Cremesheen release?

Tell the Muse!

I'm not into lippies that don't have shimmer or shine, so I'll be passing on these, but I bet people who love this finish will be raving about them :)

I'm over the moon about this release. Glosses are always so shiny and sort of transparent, so I'm looking forward to this opaque-ish, non-shimmery formula. Can't wait...and I'm DYING to see that lilac color. HAWT!

OMG! I think I am in L-O-V-E!
I've been craving for a night bright pink gloss and 'Petite Indulgence' is a MUST now!

Thanks for the fabulous review! I was afraid of the consistency so if you're saying it is less sticky than lipglasses, I'm totally on board!

Ooh I'm quite loving Petit Indulgence (is this proper French? jk) I'm totally needing more creamy lipglosses than sparkly ones which I have by the dozens. (Okay, hundreds but who's counting?) So no FOTD with them on?

Hi Muse! I am writing you from Argentina. I wanted to know the price of MAC Cremesheen Glass because I fell in love with the 'Petite Indulgence' and I am thinking seriously about buying it. Sorry for my English, is quite disastrous.

Thank you very much Muse! I love your blog :)

SALUDOS DESDE ARGENTINA! XOXO

I hate virtually any shimmer in my glosses and its rare for me to show any intrest in a gloss that has any! It better be damn pretty, ie Smashbox Ravishing! Learning of this release def made my ears perk as I may have finally found my HG gloss...

My favourite for shimmer is by Hourglass, because they did the sparkles RIGHT! Plus, the stuff lasts foreverrrr....

I always wondered how your bloggers get items before they are released? How DO you get them? Do MU Co. send you things as a means of promoting their products? Do they offer you pre-orders? You have an "inside" person? What is it is? LOL I am just curious that's all :-)

:O It's like Dazzle Glass's good twin (Dazzle being the evil one ... 'cause who doesn't love the evil twins!? >:D). Would you say that they are more or less pigmented than Lustre/Lip Glass? Do they smell approximately the same?

I want! I'm not lemming 'em as much as I lemmed the Dazzles once upon a time, but they still look veeeery classy. :) Will we get pictures of you wearing one or both of them? If so, looking forward to it!

Love,
Sophy
