In the Muse's Purse: Bath and Body Works Cold & Flu Therapy Instant Aromatherapy

You know my mum thinks that the solution to life, the universe, and everything is bottled up in a jar of Vicks Vaporub.

For serious.

Anything that ails me can normally be solved by rubbing myself with Vicks Vaporub. I dunno, that's what my mother told me.

If I have a cold rub some Vicks on my chest, if I'm coughing rub some Vicks on my chest, if I have a sore throat rub some Vicks on my chest....what can I say my mum is either a nutter or kickin' it old skool. So I do admit that she has a point here. I do feel heaps better after a rub down with Vicks Vaporub but mmmm walking out of my house and going to my office with a bunch of greasy petroleum under my nose and on my chest is a tad bit on the strange side.

Have no fear! I have just the solution for fighting off the flu and cold season with an easy to use product that's in the Muse's purse!

Jump ahead to check it out!

Guest starring in the Muse's Purse today is Body Works Cold & Flu Therapy Instant Aromatherapy Roll On!

w00t! Portable cold control!

What is it?

It's an all-natural roll on that contains a blend of eucalyptus, basil, spearmint, wild mint, lavender, cedar left, and essential oils. Shake up the bottle a bit and roll onto the base of your throat and around the chest are, now breath deeply to combat the unwanted effects of your stuffy noise brought on by the cold, wintery weather!

Don't you love this? I totally dig having a portable roll on for clearing up my stuffy head and nose. I can't concentrate when I'm constantly sniffling and this does the trick at clearing up my stuffy nose and allowing me to breath easy again! Pure perfection in a little roll on bottle!

Let's face it, carrying around a jar of Vicks Vaporub is not an option so get the next best, budget friendly option (this is only $5 bucks) to tote around in your purse with you! Bath and Body Works Cold & Flu Therapy Instant Aromatherapy Roll On is in the Muse's purse and remains there until the warm weather sets in!

Tried this?

Love it?

OMGZ, my mom believes in the Vicks Vapo Rub too! She even liked to rub it on my back. That was the worst! Nothing worse than your pajamas sticking to you when you sleep!

Ha ha, your mom and my dad - Vick's VapoRub fans for life!
How do I cure a stuffy nose? Well, to tell the truth, I used to take a tissue, tear it in half, roll up each half and stick one up one nostril and vice versa (desperate, I know) :P
I never went out in public like that, but one time I had to drop something off at my cousin's and I thought I could get away with driving in the car with them stuffers. Unfortunately, at the first stoplight I encountered, a lady with a car full of kids saw me, rolled down her windows and started guffawing at me. So that habit died hard (and embarrassingly).
Now what do I do? I suck it up! LOL, kidding, kidding (don't worry, I'll stop grossing you out)! Hehe :D

I bought myself a few bottles of the headache relief one and the stress relief one. :D I like them quite well, though I wish the scent lasted longer. Sometimes I just open them and sniff and I feel better already. And I use the headache one on my temples and it's nice and cooling and it really helps my headache go away! Plus, I totally thought it would break me out when I used it on my face, but it didn't at all. These things are pretty awesome!

My mom is the exact same way! Another great way to use Vick's when you are sick, is to slather it on your feet and then put socks on. It may just be an Old Wive's tale, but people believe it draws the virus from your body. I've had a horrible cold for the past 3 days and it does seem to help. Wish I'd known about the Bath and Body roll-on, I could've used it at work!
