I'm very excited about MAC Holiday this year as I've noticed I really love reds and MAC has plenty to be had with it's exciting multi-part collection release!
MAC Red She Said is the main color story release that includes the new Mineralize Eye Shadow Trio that everyone is so hyper about. I'm personally not so interested in the shadows but I do want some of the lippies released with this collection!

I've heard bad things about the shadows, and I'm not too in to dazzleglass; I have three already that I'll never use up!
I'm after most of the lipsticks from this though, I think!
Glad to see you're feeling better muse =)... i remember the last time i had the flu (in Feb., on the tail end of my birthday Vegas trip no less... that sure as hell put a damper on everything =/) i was downright miserable for WEEKS... i couldnt shake it for like a month and a half and lived off of nothing but tea and chicken soup... hopefully your cold isnt as bad =)..
so I heard the dazzleglasses are going to become part of the perm line this spring.. is the buzz true?
and those blushes look interesting... they remind me of the sonic chic blushes..
im hella excited about the MSFs.. im definitely going to pick all 3 up, eventhough i shouldnt spend anymore money after hauling some of the guerlain midnight butterfly collection =P (speaking of that... im really lemming the purple-y gloss from that collection.. what were your thoughts on it? would it be worth the splurge?)

I'm with you! I want the lippies..the shadows I worry they are like the duos released recently :P rubbish! But def want the lippies..not so sure about the dazzleglass as I believe every single one is a repromote...
good news that means we have more cash for the palettes w00t!

Aww no..that's terrible honey..I once had it a few years on ago on Thanksgiving! Was the worst :( Couldn't taste anything!
Thankfully so far so good. My sore throat is gone which is a plus but I gotta say I'm the same, if I don't go to a doctor I end up having it for a month too! AWFUL!
I guess it's true..but it's boring as these are repromotes..they could have given us all new ones :(
They aren't quite like sonic chic...but they are very pigmented as they beauty powder blushes I had a rave about however again a tad bit boring!
You got me there as I'm only slightly excited about the MSE's. They are ok but I didn't like the last round..plus the fact that almost everyone of these has the orange color wth?

Honestly, I wouldn't splurge on the purple gloss :P Not worth it..get something else from the collection ;) the Kiss Kiss are even better than splurging on the gloss :)

i ended up getting the mascara and the meteorites (my first time trying them!).. i also ended up getting the terracotta summer stones.. my package wont be arriving until next monday though =(
its so hard to tell this stuff online.. the saks/neimans closest to me are in beverly hills, so nooo thank you, i will not be making that journey over only to sit in traffic for about an hour...
but i feel you on the boring part.. im actually glad there isnt anything TOO exciting going on.. means i dont have to feel so guilty when i go crazy with the sephora F&F lol...

Love the shadow shades, however with my bitterness towards the last Mineralized Shadows, I will be skipping I think.
I want to get a couple of the Dazzleglasses. XD

Of the dazzleglasses, I think I need Sugarrimmed (I think it's a repromote) and Love Alert looks nice.

I heard from a MAC rep "Red" She Said will officially be in MAC stores and counters Oct. 16th. Can't wait to test them all out ;D then. I missed out on the Manish Arora collection because I didn't know they were that limited and decided I didn't want to order items from the MAC site (too impatient). I'm still learning to be a more discipline at this.
Anyway, glad to see you're alive and blogging away!

Hi Muse,
I was actually at a pre-launch party for this collection a couple weeks ago. I only wound up getting the blush in Enough Said. The other items in the collection were pretty but just didn't appeal to me at that point. My heart was set on items from the holiday collection, which were not for sale. However, I did get a call from the MAC store yesterday and was infromed that they were in presale for the holiday collection. All I had to do was provide my credit card number and would receive my requested items in two weeks. I don't know if I can wait that long...

I can understand why you were a bit disappointed or didn't feel like it was anything you needed!
They are indeed available for preorder :) my ma called and asked if I wanted to do it as well but honestly I'm not to a point where I absolutely have to have it this moment..
I get a bit jaded with mac holiday lately...I'm a bit worried the palettes look the same as last year :(

So I finally went and played with the Dazzleglass tonight, and I love it! I had regretted not buying Sugarrimmed when it was first released, so I was glad to see it re-released. I snatched it up! I also picked up Miss Dynamite.
At first I didn't think it looked good on me (not by itself), but the awesome MA helped me pair it with Fresh Moroccan for a great look. I'm totally happy with it.
I just had to let you know :)
