Mary-Kate and Ashley Blush On The Go Make Up Sheets Review

Well, slap me and call me silly! I do believe, somehow, some way, I ended up giving money to Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen of all people!

Oops...! Wrong picture!

Ahh much better! Sorry 'bout that!

So what was I saying?

Oh yes, I recently gave $7 USD and some change to the Mary-Kate and Ashley Cosmetic Line....Yes, I have lost my mind!

Dude...for serious...did you even know Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen had a cosmetic line? I must live under a rock because I haven't been exposed to the height of sophistication that is the Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen Cosmetic Collection! It's like Chanel only much better....the Muse is being dry...very, very dry.....

Turns out they do indeed have a cosmetic line and you can get it by visiting E-bay and purchasing it in bulk boxes of 300 pieces or you can get some at your local evil empire...errr I mean Walmart! I personally like buying my Mary-Kate and Ashley Cosmetics in bulk lots from E-bay however I happened to be in the evil empire with my sister a few weeks ago (she loves the evil empire passionately and enjoys giving them mounds of her cash while I cry in agony on the side lines! "Why GOD! WHY!!!!!!! Not my own flesh and blood!!!!!") and came across Mary Kate and Ashley's enchanting line of cheap cosmetics while I was begrudgingly strolling through the cosmetic aisle and cursing my sister for dragging me to bloody Walmart with her (what if someone fabulous I know seen me there? God forbid!)!

The bad news is the Mary Kate and Ashley line sucks majorly...I know, I know...don't be disappointed, chin up, it'll be ok the Muse promises! The good news is I came across Blush On The Go Make Up Sheets and I'll admit, shame faced and embarrassed, that I kinda dig these things...

What the hell are Blush On The Go Make Up Sheets anyway Muse?

Well...these are kinda like oil blotting sheets only they contain a shimmering blush! Cool right? Take a sheet out, swipe across your cheeks, blend, and you're left with blushing cheeks...whoa!

Blush On The Go Sheets in Radiance

Blush On The Go Sheets in Flushed

Seriously, I was kinda shocked at how cute these were and how well they worked! Each box comes with 50 sheets and shocked am I that they are actually pigmented! I got two shades but there are a total of four shades available plus bronzer sheets as well! Each box of 50 Sheets will set you back $3.49 USD which isn't too bad!

I love sticking these in my purse for super quick touch ups on the go or they'd be ideal for traveling since the airport bans virtually everything lately and sticking expensive make up in your check in baggage is not an option (at least for me it isn't)!

I tried the colors Flush and Radiance. Flush I didn't like and it looked rather bad on my skin however I do recommend it for darker tones. It's a shimmering deep mauve pink that ended up looking a bit muddy on my skin however it really made my sister glow when I tested it on her, she's about two or three shades darker than my own medium fair skin. The other shade that I tried was Radiance and that was fabulous on me! It's a bubblegum pink shade that almost mimics the look you can get from Benefit Posietint!

The moral of the story is you should probably head on over to the evil empire and check these out! The Muse is sorta impressed with the cute factor, ease of use and mess free application plus the price can't be beat considering we all have to board the beauty on a budget express train right now with the way the economy is sinking down around our ears!

The Muse sporting Radiance on her cheeks!

Not bad Mary Kate and Ashley...the Muse gives props for creating an interesting product!

Ran across these?

Tried 'em?

Would you be willing to try a blush in a sheet?

Tell the Muse!

10points for creating interesting product, but I love blush application with brush! :D I even have my smaller sized blush to take along with me, so I'll give this a past :) But you look great with it :)

My evil empire stopped carrying stuff from the Twins about 2 years ago. Not even a single drugstore in my zip code carry anything MK&A lately, I think they boycott the Olsen twins. When will Hannah Montana bring out her makeup line?

hey dao!

I noticed the evil empire was distrubiting paraben filled bottles of shampoo, conditoner and shower gel with her royal hiney's, Miley's, image all over it!

Cosmetics to follow soon!

Wow maybe these are old as sin and the evil empire has kept them on the shelf way above their expiration time..eep!

OMG! Lancome used to have these sheets as well, about 5 years ago. They came in shimmering pinks, bronze and gold. The pack was just like those clean n clear sheets, and there were 20 SUPER pigmented sheets in them. I bought them and swiftly returned them, as I not even the lightest touch would not give me the clowny look@

Ok, gross, don't make fun of me but there are two or three items from the line that I LOVE. :) I plan to do a review on them at some point, but they are the loose eyeshadow eye drama, the liquid liner which is pretty damn waterproof (reg. colors, not glitter) and the best nude lipgloss in existence (which I know does NOT apply to my lovely musey!)

Anyhow, I think these sheets ARE new, because the WM in my mom's town no longer carries MK&A, and the one near my apartment up in Dallas does and I haven't seen these. Weird!

Girrrl, I can't bash cheap fun stuff! I mean, most of it IS crap, but there are a few items worth checking out!

Take care doll!

"what if someone fabulous I know seen me there? God forbid!"

What does that mean?

I shop at walmart and I won't be bothered whether someone will see me there. Should I be bothered?

My dearest Muse,

MK and Ashely? Really? I am really worried about you ... I am afraid the Cover Girl foundation has sent you on a downward spiral and soon you will advising people to visit (gasp) dollar stores. Pull yourself together!!! Lol!!! Those blush sheets look kinda neat, but I try to stay away from the evil empire, or Mr. Critty gives me lectures. I may just have to sneak into the new supercentre that opened a few minutes away ...

Big hugs,
Critty :)

these look interesting, but does the product get all over your fingers just from handling the blush sheet?

hey muse!

lancome has the same thing. i think they used to a while ago since I bought them for 2 for 5$ at the lancome outlet store 3 yrs ago- a blush and a really pretty bronzer- and I know that they didn't sell it at lancome or sephora back then. I don't know about their site or lancome counters, but at sephora.com they have the blush and bronzer sheets right now for 15. they are really pretty and work well, but I somehow don't ever use them and like the others said do prefer the brush application.

Did you ever end up trying the avon makeup remover? I really like it the best after trying every brand out there, and I was wondering how you'd rate it.

You make me LOL when you posted the "wrong" pic of Mary-Kate & Ashely. LOL again! =D

The product looks interesting. But isn't it a bit difficult to swip the blush sheet across the face?

Hi,

I just ran out and bought these today after reading your review! the radiance ones are so lovely! I also picked up some silver sparkle sheets which made my eyes all shimmery. I used a clean brush over my face to smooth everything out though. Thanks again for awesome reviews on all the latest stuff.

That's truly amazing that these products work...at all, and that they don't suck? Pretty impressive.

I kind of want to try them out, just because they are something different. The only thing is, I never go to Walmart. I'm a Target kinda gal.

Maybe if I pass a Walmart though...

Thanks for always bringing us such a wide variety of innovative stuff!

Hi Pia!

Really? I don't recall those! i'd have prob loved 'em!

Thankfully I don't think these have given me a clowny look :) they blend really easily and leave behind a nice, natural color!

Plus they are cheap as sin :)

Hi Jenna,

Yes you will. Normally I touch up when I'm in the washroom anyway so I can just easily wash my hands to get it off!

hiya Small Small Small Potato!

Have no fear I don't know anyone fabulous..it's me being sarcastically funny.

You shouldn't be bothered at all. It was a simple joke..nothing to be upset about.

You can shop anywhere you feel comfortable, I wasn't saying you shouldn't :)

I personally don't shop at walmart because I think it's a drain on our economy among other problems with the "evil empire".

My sister shops at walmart and absolutely loves it and I rag on her all the time about it.

Just a joke love, nothing but a joke.

Cheers!
