Busy Being Sick
Hey guys!
Hope everyone is having a nice, long holiday weekend! Sadly, I've been sick since yesterday so it's mostly rest and relaxing for me!
Last week I had the flu shot and I can only assume that's where I ended up picking up this bad case of sneezing, sore throat, stuffy head, and other bits I have going on right now!
Sigh!
I have a ton of comments to get through and I'm slowly replying to them all! I don't have any new posts planned for today but I promise to be back in fighting form tomorrow with brand new release info, reviews, and tons of other goodies!

Kayvid: I have been sick since last week as well. Flu and Cold. I'm scared that if I go and take the flu shot I will have to go through the same crap again! I dunno what to do! Hope you feel better soon dear.

I'm so sorry you got sick!
I tend to avoid flu shots, but I don't often get the flu. My assistant at work gets the flu and bronchitis like crazy, so she always gets the shots.

Feel better soon! I am very sorry to hear you are not feeling well. Evil. =( I had the flu shot too and have felt better myself. Actually I started to have an allergic reaction but that's another story.
I have a contact who often goes to France if you decide the loose powder is a must have. Or else one of your friends in the UK should be able to get it.
Prescriptives has been going better lately. =D I am a blues gal myself - I can't wear aqua or teal. More power to you!
Sad about Macy's isn't it? We all made faces when we heard Macys was buying Marshall Fields. And that was after Marshall Fields bought Dayton's. Dayton's was a nice HE store.
*giggles* Oops! Sorry - I thought you meant clothes size. My feet tend to run 4.5-5.5. Usually 5 works but in some brands, I have to go down to a 4.5. In Prada, a 35 is still a bit big.
Heels are rather unforgiving. Especially if you walk 4 miles a day! I love the ballet flat myself. My favorite is the Mary Jane. It's kind of sad how many MJs I have.
That's great your blog is growing so big! Congrats! I like it for the destressing aspect.
It will be totally worth it to open the LPCM! I actually decided to indulge in the Dior Midnight Diamond. It was much nicer than I expected. Plus the case had a nice feel to it rather than a cheap plastic case.
Chantecaille's website has never been operational. I think they just have it to keep squatters off the domain.
Hm...Interesting that BRTC tends to be dark. Lotuspalace said she tried the jasmine water and thought it was a good color. So I figure that one is safe.

Eek! I hope Bloomies has a reason for not calling you about the Piha. It may be that you are picking it up in person? They were getting shipping info for those of us who don't live in the area.
The YSL black can be reasonable if a thin layer is put on. It does work well with reds too. No way could I do the glossy black lip. That'd be way too unconventional for my work.

The Neiman Christmas book is such a hoot. I rather liked the year they had the tricked out ice house. It's kind of sad to see how fancy ice houses are these days. Even though I live in the frozen north, I've never understood the attraction of ice fishing.
My nick on Twitter is Phoenix2101. I haven't posted anything yet. Since my trip to Mall of America drained me, I wasn't up to quite figuring everything out about Twitter.
I made a journey out to Mall of America on Sat. Mostly I wanted to go to Sephora as that's the biggest one in the area and they carry brands such as Givenchy, Fresh, Tarte. Sugar is 50% off by the way....looks like they are getting rid of that too. Plus I wanted to take a peek at BE (they have a store) and of course Nordies! I ended up getting the Dior np, Twilight quint, and Midnight Diamond powder. I was sorely tempted by the Shu but I am going to wait.

I get one every year since I normally get sick 4-5 times a year if I don't get it :( Normally it takes well and I won't see any flu or colds until Feb or March, once a year it comes around that time but sadly this year it got me early :(

I noticed Sugar was down when I was viewing a few items..I had to second glance it as the sweet cheeks said $12 dollars and I paused for a sec..thinking..wait..didn't I pay more?
my regular sephora hasn't stocked the new dior as of yet..or the new anything really :( they wait for a bit..I should go to the Times Square location however I'm not feeling the will to bother :P

Oh no! I feel bad for just responding to a LUSH comment exchange earlier...now I have heaped your inbox with more things! But this is only to wish you better! Get well! I have the same thing happen to me when I get flu shots. Sure, sure, useful they say, but regardless of what happens when flu season comes along, I am guaranteed to feel vile for the next few days after the shot. Blech. Take care!!
