Lush Godmother Soap Review

Sunday night I headed to Soho Apple to visit a friend who works there and catch some really late dinner. While waiting for my mate I decided I'd visit with Lush Soho too! Although I'm not a big lover of Lush stores within the US I decided meh why not!

I'm somewhat reserved about purchasing items from Lush stores do to a million other people handling the items. Can you say gross? Another reason I'm not particularly fond of Lush stores are because the items, to me, aren't nearly as fresh as what I can get from Lush UK Mail Order.

However, I can't resist walking into a Lush shop each and every time I see one. During this particular visit I couldn't resist replenishing my dwindling stock of Lush Godmother soap. Since my original orders from Lush UK Mail Order consists of a huge bulk of products I decided I'd have to wait to get more Godmother however since I was in a Lush shop already, right here, convenient as you please in the city I seriously couldn't resist getting something!

I happily purchased a nice size chunk that cost me $12.83 USD and I quickly sliced it up when I got home making it into six hunks of yummy goodness for my shower and beside my sinks for washing my hands up!

I can't resist the beautiful candy like scent of Godmother! It's vanilla with touches of pink, it's girly, pure and simple! This seriously has to be what pink smells like!

If you haven't yet tried Godmother, run now, get it! It's an identical scent as Snow Fairy and since Snow Fairy doesn't come around until Christmas no waiting is involved and instant gratification can be yours with Lush Godmother soap.

The Muse Approves Lush Godmother in a major way! If you're girly, you NEED girly soap! Godmother is simply girly period.

Loves it!

That soap is gorgeous in color. It'd be perfect for decorative soap. And it sounds like a beautiful scent. I'm quite fond of vanilla, and I really liked Snow Fairy. It smelled like cotton candy or candy peeps to me :)

Rock Star's smell is a bit too bubble gum smelling for me. God Mother is sweet, but it's a pleasant sweet. I like sweet smelling things (OMFG SNOW FAIRY shower gel is one of them) but...Rock Star is off putting to me.

With Christmas around the corner though, I already see many slabs of Snowcake being purchased..along with Snow Fairy shower gel lol.

I can't use the Sakura bath bomb with out wanting my 17CL. I noticed they brought back the Blossom gift set but instead of 17CL they have Lily Savon in it's place...which isn't the same. :( (Says the girl who bought 5 of the original Blossom gift sets JUST for 17CL when she found out they were discontinuing it completely haha)

rock star smells like an eraser to me :) You know those girly erasers that you can get at little asian stores where they have stationary goodies..thats what it reminds me of lol!

Dude I purchase an entire slab of snowcake almost every year. It's my hg ;)

Lily savon is lovely but it definately doesn't have that bright fruity lemon tart smell of 17cl!!!!! :(

LOL I can understand your pain!

Wish it came back with retro lush sigh!

Send me your address and I'll send you an imp of sakura perfume unless you already have it!
