Cargo Blu_Ray Concealer Review

Don't I always hook you up with the latest and greatest in the cosmetic world? Since my concealer round up began I've reviewed quite a few items and today I'm adding to the reviews with a brand new concealer released for Cargo's Fall Collection.

Today I'm bringing you a review of Cargo's latest concealer that was released with the Fall Collection. Cargo Blu_Ray Concealer is a concealer and wrinkle eraser in one slick pen. W00t! Something that erases fine lines? The Muse is on the case!

First of all it has my very favorite style applicator a click pen. Click pens are simply the best when it comes to concealers and it's truly a hassle free way of applying your concealer minus the mess. The interesting part of this is the applicator. Unlike most click pens that sport a brush style applicator this is actually a sponge applicator which fits the contour of the eye nicely and allows ease of use when smoothing the concealer on so less blending is done by your finger tips! Speaking of blending, this blends like a dream. It smooths on amazingly well and goes from a moisturizing blend to a powdery dry down. Although powder I fear when it comes to my under eyes as it tends to age me and crease this however did neither. Just offered soft, buttery coverage.

The formula will cover slight to medium dark circles but I'm unsure how well it'll fair on extremely dark circles. I'm enjoying the creamy yet powdery texture of this and I definately deem it a fine concealer for the Summer humidity considering how long wearing it is. It's been under my eyes since 5 this morning and still going strong at nearly 2 pm. Nice. No creasing and no caking under the eyes and it delivers on it's promise of flawless coverage. Products like Cargo Blu_Ray concealer were created with the idea of high-definition filming in mind. It's a product that's meant to appear completely invisible while giving skin a flawless, airbrushed look. It does this perfectly well in my opinion and I can easily see myself reaching for this one daily.

Now the good part....

It contains something called Vilsilox which is a cosmetic alternative to Botox to smooth fine lines and wrinkles.

So far I have to say I like the coverage, love the finish, and love the long wear! It's definately a good one! The Muse likey Cargo Blu_Ray Concealer and recommends checking it out for yourself!

Cargo Blu_Ray Concealer is sold at Sephora and check out more of the Blu_Ray Collection at Cargo Cosmetics website. Check out my Cargo Fall Collection post to read about some of the interesting goodies released!

I want to try the new Lorac concealer - it looks awesome! I swatched it on my hand in the store and liked it - but didn't end up purchasing.

I did however, order Powderflage yesterday! I'm so excited to get it!

hey laurie :)

Totally surprised. Did you notice it was taped shut? It actually opens outwards and unfolds. It's rather cool!

Hello my friend!

I am feeling much better today. I've recovered from the dentist and am on the mend from the infections from all my allergies.

The BE Luminous Eyes was ok. I thought the topcoat could have been nicer. Armani and Givenchy make much nicer topcoats. But the BE version gave a nice snow princess effect.

I am liking the look of this Blu Ray concealer. The new Makeup Forever HD primers look intriguing to me as well. I am considering the blue.

Lucky you to have such cool weather! I am very jealous. I feel sorry for the animals at the zoo. We just got a new Siberian exhibit. The poor animals must be just baking. You'd think we'd have cooler weather in the summer sharing the latitude with Siberia but no, it has to be about as hot as Florida.

I hope companies get more creative when the economy rebounds. While I don't like unwearable colors, everything looking the same gets boring.

I did get my haul today, hurrah! =D It was mostly JS though I got one of the two Awake palettes (x-2 Nocturnal Rose). A couple days later I decided to get X-1. Hopefully that haul will be delivered tomorrow...

Chicago customs is usually pretty quick. I think my order came in on a day with big shipments. Usually my orders spend 5 min in customs. But it's very annoying when they keep them longer.

He he...know what you mean about more than 1 face. You can only wash your face and reapply makeup so many times in one day...

I got a sample of Sofina Primavista. I am curious to try it. The adverts are boring but the product itself sounds intriguing from the Kao release.

Lancome has definitely improved. Gucci Westman really made a difference and thank goodness the new Creative Director is following in her shoes. Previously they were quite boring.

Have you seen the little lotus thing released overseas? I hope it makes its way here for the holidays.

I hope I do get my hands on one of the 500. It's not a terrible price and it just looks cool.

Do you remember the MAC Tux De Luxe lipglass? It was black too. I am going to send it in to 3 Custom to get a new tube. Since it's from many years ago my current tube is wonky. Let me know if you want me to order one for you.

I tried to walk as much as possible last time I was in your city. =D The cabbies terrified me. It's a bit like driving in Sicily where stop signs and traffic lights are considered suggestions.

But there are so many things I love about your city that I can live with crazy cabbies. I miss the culinary diversity for one thing...

$60 for a palette is rather posh when you look at the total price, but when you divide it by the # of colors, it's much more reasonable. $12/color for Magie Deco. =D

I try to keep polish on my nails or I bite them. I just got 2 new bottles of JS. Midnight Dazzle and Sapphire. I also have Pearl and Ruby eventually on the way, but I skipped the greens as green is a difficult color on me.

Illegal purple and the entire COC collection is nice! My MAC addiction has somewhat resurfaced. I like the Shadowy Lady quad though the Tempting quad looks really cool. I liked your look with it. I am going to skip it and instead admire other people's creativity with it.

I am back in a Harry Potter phase. I haven't found any books that are quite as great as Harry Potter, although I do like the Artemis Fowl series.

I hope all is well with you!

Hugs!

This sounds like something for me! How does it compare to Dior Skinflash? I use Skinflash right now but it doesn't last all day...a few hours at the most.

hey sarah!

I know. The tones I felt were a tiny bit disappointing. Light and medium. but aside from that it's rather awesome!

I haven't tried covergirl concealer at all. You should invest in something a bit more expensive. Concealer is def a splurge for me :)
I've tried cheapin' out on it and all drugstore brands fail!

hi there ' * : . b | u 3 . : * '

It's lighter in formula than skinflash. Skinflash has decent wear for me but I definately need touch ups here and there.

If you don't have deep dark circles this is fantastic for lighter wear plus the applicator is brilliant. I got very good wear out of this which is what impressed me most. Plus it gives that airbrushed on look that I like!

hi there sher!

I'll do my best to check these out and review 'em for you :) I've heard raves about them too. MUA they have a 5.0 rating. I'll see what I can arrange in the ways of reviews of the rest of the blue ray line :) I was particularly intrigued by the cool kit they offer which is a fab deal! Have you considered this?! It's a real steal!

hi betty!

Thanks honey!

hehe nope no coveted muse approval stamp. I didn't feel it was fair to muse approve it for one main reason lack of shades. it's great for fair and medium skin tones but no options for dark girls so no muse approval this time :) hehe!

hello Audrie!

Sure did :) LOL! Definitely stop by sephora and have a lookiee! They have the kit now too which includes a ton of the blu_ray selections!

Great deal!
Thanks for the comment!

yes, I've pretty much given up on the hopes that my concealer will look good when I come home. I need something of a heavier coverage since mine are very bad [look at my allergic reaction photos, you can tell!], I'd like a stick concealer, but I don't like the ones that look like lipstick! ;-;

hello miss betsy!

I'm so glad to hear you're feeling fit :) Dentist can be a pain :P

literally.

I agree. I have these all but I still felt they were mediocre. It takes some working getting it into place and when it is on it's not nearly as noticeable as I'd like.

I've never tried the Armani but Givenchy definately does as well as Guerlain!

Let me tell you...I'm about to review one of the MUFE HD primers..the yellow..and it's HG for me...AWESOME. I want the pink now and the lilac version. Well worth the cash. It promised to lighten my complexion and worked like a dream plus can double up as foundation for me! I'll be reviewing soon!

It's been quite lovely here. Not bad at all!

Oh my gosh those poor animals! How terrible :( I think a siberian exhibit sounds a bit much for animals that are used to much cooler climates..what in the world is the zoo thinking!?

I agree. many of the items begin to run into each other. I was wondering myself it was an issue of the economy or the fact that I may be burning out after being presented with so much product lately and being a bit overloaded.

YAY! Sounds great! I skipped awake..I feel like they are a tad bit rerunny as well no offense.

I recently purchased a cdp concealer..everyone raves so much about it I decided it was time I indulged.

I never have had a prob with customs hear thankfully. I sometimes get huge $ lush orders and the post office never gave me any probs thankfully!

I normally apply in the am and take pics daily of what I use b/c if I am reapplying all day it would be nuts lol!

Do tell me how the primavista is as I've had my eye on it!

Lancome has made huge leaps and bounds to break into better packaging with much more creative and unique makeup designs.

I agree!

The lotus looks lovely and I was wondering if I should indulge but I'll honestly say I never used my mystery game and this would become another pretty item to decorate my vanity, it seems wasteful to indulge.

I'm positive we should be good as we called really early! Cross our fingers :)

No that I don't. How long ago was the mac release? I'm somewhat of a mac virgin I guess. I started collecting with Sweetie Cake :)

Got a swatch?

LOL cabbies are very terrifying here :)

LOL! That's the damn truth! That applies to all of Italy btw LOL!!!!

The variety of food here is prob what makes the US an obese nation hehe!

You're totally right and funny as I purchase two of the colors anyway in single form so I'm half way there anyway but I'm just slightly reserved when dishing out the full 60...the mentality makes no sense here lol!

JS I never tried polish wise however I have the cuticle oil and love it :)

Are you indulging at all in COC?!

Thanks so much. I was scared of doing greens and browns but later liked the contrast.

have you tried getting into SH? She's not JKR but she's alright. I love Artemis Fowl myself however it's def not HP sadly. I've had my eye on a few new serials but mostly lately I stick to manga and deeper study books for some odd reason. Maybe b/c it's the summer. I'd rather prefer brain candy in all honesty like a simple romance!

I am great thanks :) and I hope you are too!

Big Hugs darlin'!

Happy Weekend!
