Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer Review
For today's concealer post I'll be spotlighting Bobbi Brown's Creamy Concealer!
Although I had a little trouble with Bobbi Brown's Concealer Palette I must say that I had no such woes with Bobbi Brown's Creamy Concealer. I have this in the lightest shade which is Porcelain. The color sports both beige, pink, and yellow tones which are extremely flattering to my medium-fair skin and do a superior job of covering up dark circles, fine lines, and extra baggage.
The formula is extremely emollient and moisturizing so much so that you may find it a bit too thick for your liking however using a concealer brush for application helps a whole lot. I really loved how wonderfully moisturizing the formula was and I think it's completely suitable and an absolute god sent for anyone that's 30 or over. The formula sports some key benefits such as being extremely creamy, thick, and pigmented. The thickness of the product accounts for it's moisturizing benefits and although at first it may be a tad bit difficult to blend once heated you should have no problem with application.
The concealer is very long wearing and waterproof. I had no problem with creasing or caking and the product just looked simply flawless on and successfully made my eyes look younger and refreshed. This comes in 12 shades so you're sure to find a match for your tone.
At $22 USD the price tag isn't too bad either in my opinion for the quality of the product and the very long wear you can get out of it however you might worry about the size. The compact is tiny however since you only need a very tiny bit to cover up your problem areas you can easily get a year out of a single compact or more.
Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer has successfully created a good, solid concealer that delivers!

Finally one that is Muse approved!!!
I don't have any Bobbi Brown yet, but I must go get this...I also must check out the Bobbi Brown section of my CCO.
BTW, did you hear the rumors of a Hello Kitty/MAC collabo???
Absolute fabulousness overload! I would get two of everything in that collection just for the packaging!!!
A year's worth of concealer for $22 sounds like a pretty good deal to me ;)
Might have to try this out! I usually only put concealer to hide my dark circles and i've only ever used MAC but i found out it had a very annoying habit of sinking into lines i never even knew i had! So i stopped using it.
Instead what i do is mix my foundation with sweatproof sunblock and it doesn't move anywhere until i wipe it off!
Ive been eyeing this ont he site! but for some reason I thought it came with powder too. I think I might have to get it...
OOH do you think I could wear that shade? Gorgeous! Btw, the NVEY concealer review is up over at my place!
Hi Muse!
I have the concealer kit, at first I didn't like it, but now I think it's a great camouflage for spots :)
Lots of hugs!
PaoPao the birthday girl!
Btw did you manage to get my brushes from CF? Just wanted to check, planning my budget here! :-*
Great job on the concealer reviews!!! You make sure your readers pick the right one! Thanks a lot!!
Oh I add your link to my blog, hope that's okay with you!
Tonight I'm off to Paris looking for some good beauty stuff! So excited!!
I know it's not here yet, but I wanted to wish you a good weekend after all!
tee hee Tammy :) Took me a second there didn't it?
I heart BB CCO! So cheap and wonderful!
I did indeed hear that. I absolutely need a case of everything lol!
It's so wrong to have quality makeup mixed up with hello kitty! Stuff like that should be illegal lol!
hey dd!
Agreed ;-)
hello Alyssia :)
I never used mac concealer..go figure! I once had a MA test it on me and same problem..felt drying and sunk into my lines!
Good idea!
hello lolita_riot!
It does :) They have two versions...one is the creamy concealer and one has the powder. The powder is great for setting the product as it's very fine milled. I don't have that one but do have the bb concealer compact which has the powder!
Not sure how old you are but the powder is actually good for older eyes as it's so fine you barely notice it's on and it doesn't crease up or make eyes appear older!
morning linn!
definately as your skin is ultra creamy and lovely!
Awesome heading over now curious how it is ;)
hi Paopao!
Me too. At first I didn't love it either but I'm grown to love it.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!! =-)

Thanks! You as well lovie! Enjoy your time in Paris and be fabulous!
Have you tried the creamy concealer kit? It is awesome! Sometimes I use it in lieu of foundation and it provides flawless coverage with a bonus translucent powder that sets the concealer
hi erica!
I have indeed.

At first I wasn't sure about it but now I absolutely love it and the idea of using it as foundation is awesome. I sometimes swipe a bit down the sides of my nose, blend outwards, and perfection!
Great rec/tip :)
Thanks for the comment!
hi muse
ah you have just activated the concealer lemming in me! i have always avoided them because of blending issues..
is this very very blendable or does it sort of set if you don't blend too quickly?
also have you found that applying powder over it to become cakey?
another thing, do you think this is suitable for "light" face coverage instead of spot/patch coverage?
cheers!
yin
ack! i don't know how i ended up posting this under the "cream concealer" post - but my comments and questions are for the Corrector Concealer product -
thanks
yin
hi yin
hehe :) sorry 'bout that :)
No thankfully it doesn't set quickly. It stays quite creamy for a while. If you hate the way concealers quickly dry before you have a sec to blend you might want to invest in the Dior Booster Pen. That's very good stuff!
I don't apply powder over any of my concealers as I am 30 so that days I could do that are long gone. I fear when I attempt it that it ages my eyes by 20 years. So I leave it be without setting with powder. Sadly I can only guess but I think if you use a little teeny tiny bit of powder it may be ok but not too much otherwise it'll look gross, especially if your eyes are dry.
Again, sadly I don't use concealer on my face only under my eyes...but hmmm....not face coverage no as it's way too heavy.
Hope this helps lovie :)
Hugs!
I find that this concealer is creamier than any of the MAC formulations, which works really well for my 50-year old skin:

I use this when my skin is feeling very dehydrated, e.g. when flying long haul.
hi jamilla...I have really dry under eyes so this was positively amazing :)
looks great on you!
Thanks for sharing :)
Hey Muse!
I love your reviews and I have a quick question for you. We're both a fan of Benefit's Boi-ing but I would like to know if you prefer this to it?I'm going to get the BB Corrector,so I wanted to know whether or not to get the Creamy Concealer or to stick with Boi-ing.Thanks!
-Layla =]
hi layla!
I LOVED boi-ing for so long :) yes I do prefer bb to boi-ing. boi-ing stopped working on me when I hit 30 years old....my eyes started getting puffy and I had alot of dryness and it would care :(
this is very emollient and moisturizing it works better for me.
if you're younger you can still use boi-ing or your eyes are less dry than mine :)
it's still very HG for me but my eyes are causing me woes :P
hope this helps!
