Dior Luscious Lip Plumping Gloss

Dior has released eight shades of a new lip plumping gloss which is available now from Sephora for $19.50 USD each. I find myself wondering about the applicator on these and streaky, messy application hmmmm.......

After my run in with Dior's Addict High Shine Lipstick I'm thinking I might skip on these. Although the colors and the formula look interesting enough I can't get too excited about a plumping gloss...shrug....

If you're loving 'em be sure to check out your local color selection. Japan has an array of different shades not available within the US as does England!

Want 'em?

Definitely a skip for me this time around!

Hi musey, i took a look at these, they're all tropical scented and quite sparkly(fine), the quantity isn't as generous as the old dior kiss though. If you like tropical scents you might want to check them out, dior's glosses are so much better than their lipsticks, i myself have 3.

hi there helena!

AH really? They are worth it if they are tropical scented. I'm so diseased but the idea of tropical scented gloss will totally have me buying 'em!

I really adore dior gloss as well but the applicator on these had me wondering how well they'd apply hmm!

Must check these out at Sephora ;-)

Thanks for the scoop darlin' and the comment! Hope we talk again soon!

Sure! I'm at: musings.of.a.muse@gmail.com

Cheers!

I'm something of a recent subscriber to your blog (just got into the makeup game a month or so ago), and am wondering: Are you, then, writing out of Japan? I'm headed there for a year, so I wondered about the makeup front there. Is it more expensive than, for example, the U.S.? I suppose there won't be any shampoos for my curly hair...but will I be able to find eyeshadows for green eyes?

Thanks for the great posts by the way; I usually search your site before buying a new product as I like to know how it went down with others before I try it out myself.

the chunks of the glitter are a bit much for me( i work at sephora and was able to be the first to test it) but the texture is nice, smell is awesom but jus a bit too pricey for me. give it a shot u might like it!

hi heinebaby!

I didn't realize they had that much glitter. I haven't actually swatched yet ;)

Oh my! I'm jealous! Lucky you working at Sephora.

The smell convinces me I need to try it :-)

Thanks for the scoop and the comment! Hope to talk to you again soon!

Hi Izzy, I checked this out the last time and I love the scent!

I think the slanted appicator is ok. It helps spread the products evenly. A point that worries me is it might leak. I have a similar setup gloss from last year TBS summer collection and it leaked in my makeup pouch.

Nevertheless, I'll still get one from this collection as they look too pretty and handy to pass up! :)

gracie ;)

Hi Gracie!

The scent has me hyper :) I wanna get in store to smell!

Ugh so annoying when glosses leak! I was worried as it has a similar style applicator as rouge conc from lavshuca and that was a bitch to apply :P

Maybe I'll give one a whirl too just for the sake of trying it out :)
