Gong Yoo's Return in One Fine Day!

I'm busy at work today but not so busy that I haven't been sneaking around answering comments here and there!

I wanted to say a quick thanks for all the warm wishes back! I appreciate it! I sincerely missed blogging for the days I was away and to come back to so many great comments it's always an absolute pleasure!

For an afternoon break I thought I'd mention the fact that Gong Yoo's newest drama, One Fine Day, is available for purchase on DVD!

It came out on May 27th but I've been so busy running around that I didn't get a chance to pre-order it! I just ordered it so expect a review shortly. The price is listed as $99 USD on YesAsia but a few online shops have it marked at a much more reasonable price so if you're lemming it do check around for the best deal!

It's nice to see Gong Yoo in action as I had heard he was giving acting a break and joining the army. I thought it'd be a good, long while before seeing him in a new drama!

Anyone see it yet?

Love it?

Want to see it?

Love Gong Yoo?

Tell the Muse!

You seriously didn't think I'd close the post without a little eye candy did you?

SWOON!

i haven't seen it, but one fine day isn't gong yoo's newest drama. he was actually in a drama called coffee prince after one fine day. coffee prince was all the rage in korea but i thought it was only ok. and he left for the army like last month i believe so he's gone for two years.

what a surprise! i'm a relatively new visitor to your site, and i had no idea you were a fan of korean dramas. this particular drama actually aired in 2006 (wasn't on my radar, unfortunately). as far as i know, gong yoo is currently in boot camp (as you may know, military service is compulsory for male citizens in korea, but it only lasts 2 years - meaning, he'll be back by 2010). i think "coffee prince" was his last drama.

in any case, as a fellow korean drama fan, here are some recommendations (although, you may have already watched a few of these):

hong gil dong
come back, soon-ae
princess hours
my lovely samsoon
money war
delicious proposal

i'm not sure if they're all available to watch here (although, they were subtitled when they were broadcast on the korean stations here in the u.s.)... anyway, hope you find them and enjoy!

Hiya Muse~* I am so happy to see you back in control again~~ I came to see your blog everyday but I've noticed you have been away. Hope you had a awesome break!!!
SInce you put Gong Yoo's sexy picture, I had to
jump in and leave you a comment.
My flatmate actually has seen him in the club in SEOUL! She said he is not as tall as he appears to be in the TV and has quite dark skin. But it doesn't matter what he really looks like, I was so envious of my flatmate!!!!!!
SO this summer my ambition is to go to all these exclusive clubs and try to meet some male celebs kk Who knows?I might be lucky to bump into Gong Yoo when he's on his break?? kk
I can't wait to go back to Korea and try some of Muse's approved Etude house peach collection ^-^
Take Care *Hug*

hello there jkim!

Thanks for visiting me here :) I love catching up with all my readers! I ADORE korean dramas :)

I read that he was joining the army and than suddenly this new drama pops up...I was like what...I was compulsive and brought it immediately as he's lovely to say the least. A reader than mentioned it was older and I looked it up and it appears that this is the first release with eng subs...so def NOT new :( la sigh!

I adore coffee prince by the way.

Thanks! I've seen princess hours and my lovely samsoon but the rest I haven't yet seen so this is a treat :) I love hearing recs on good kdramas as sometimes, as you know being a kdrama lover, you have to weed through alot of bad to get to the good dramas :)

I don't get the korean station as I believe it's available on dish and I'm a direct tv girl :( sniff sniff.

Thanks for the recs! Greatly appreciate it :)

Fab talking to you! Hope to speak to you again really soon!

hiya humming!

Aw thanks! It's good to be back!

It was a lovely time away :)

AHHHHH you are kiddin'?! I'd jump him if I seen him in public lol!

Little disappointed about him being darker but I did suspect as much from Coffee Prince as a few time he was outside he skin seems very tanned and not as milky white as promo images make him out to be!

Hells I wouldn't mind either if I seen him up close and personal I'd be drooling!

LOL Can I come please????

Oh honey you must try some of the Etude House! It's fab ;)

Love ya!
