Morgen Schick's Reunion with HSN
Meet Morgen Schick:
I was sorting through e-mail and I came across an e-mail from "Morgen" at first I thought it was spam but after reading it I was astounded to learn it was from Morgen Schick, herself!
Morgen's e-mail to me:
Hello Muse. This is first time I have been on a 'blog'- guess it shows my age! My name is Morgen and I actually have never Goggled myself until today, when some one told me I had to see what was on the 'net' about me! So I scrolled down, and see that this lovely lady has picked one of my all time favorite products as one of her 'Fav of 2007' products! I decided 2 things, #1- that I wanted to thank you, and #2- that you need a new Hide N Hilight!! So, if there is an address where I can personally send you a new one (at least for photography on your blog :) I will happily do so! I'm also loving that you use my Schick Stick Cheek & Lip Stain, again, something I use daily- I'll throw one of those babies in too! I appreciate your including my little products in your very impressive list, and I hope you have an awesome 2008!! Best, Morgen :)
Even after reading this it took a sec for my brain to function and realize that this was indeed, thee Morgen Schick, and not someone playing around with me!
I almost fell off my chair soon after. I replied really quickly and in my star struck manner I asked her about HSN! It's been a long while since I've seen her featured on HSN and to my delight she told me that she'll soon be on and gave me her schedule for the dates and times!

You may remember a while ago I did a blog about my Flawless Face Coverage and how I achieve it, if not click here for details! One of my secret weapons to creating a flawless look is starting with the Morgen Schick Hide and Highlight Palette! This is my holy grail product! I use this as my main foundation of choice (click here to see it featured in my Year End Review). I'll be featuring a review on the palette very soon but until then I highly recommend tuning into HSN and seeing Morgen work her magic!
It may sound corny but I'm such a very big fan of her cosmetics and the idea she took the time out to write me a lovely e-mail totally made my day!

Yeah! Never been to your blog, BUT was checking HSN beauty, like the whore that I am every day, and saw some Morgen things "pop" into inventory. I stumbled upon your website and was flabbergasted to see that great letter from her to you! Fabulous all the way around, and thanks for posting her schedule! I will be back to visit you, too! I have a Delphi Forum for Morgen Schick and her wonderful products and one of the board's members found your blog about Morgen and posted it, so I just wanted to say THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for letting us know Morgen's official HSN dates and times! The rumor mill had it that she was gonna be back in the US on HSN but we all had no idea when and now we know! Stop by if you like and send you friends over, as well!

I'm so happy that Morgen emailed you and is sending you more Hide or Hilight and the Healthy Schick Stick! These are only two of my favorite Morgen products, but they are definitely staples in anyone's Morgen collection. :)

Hey I have never heard of HSN, is it like QVC? We don't have it in the UK boooooo!
What a sweet thing for Morgen to do! I have to admit I never heard of her before your "Best of 2007" entry and now I'm curious about her products. I think I may have to check her stuff out!

Welcome! ;) I'm an utter HSN Junkie :) more so with QVC to be honest but I must say plenty of good deals to be had in the cosmetic department on both!
I was very excited to see Morgen's item on HSN again and the letter totally made my day :) I couldn't think of a sweeter thing! It was seriously thoughtful to take time out of her schedule to email me :)
I'm tivo'ing her showings as I'm curious what lovely items she'll have for sale :) I'm sure I'll want something!

You're most welcome! I had no idea there was a forum for Morgen's stuff! I'd love to come and visit! I'm an utter forum addict when it comes to cosmetics and belong to a ton :)
I'm so thrilled to see her on HSN again! I really enjoy her products and have been using them for years. I can't think of a better foundation and rarely do I stray from her hide and highlight!
I sure will stop by!
Both the palette and schick stick are staples of mine too. I prep my skin always with the schick stick prior to applying powder brush! It really deepens my blush and makes it pop! People are sometimes confused when I mention staining my lips and cheeks prior to any application :) But it really looks lovely with blush or just by itself, as it was intended.

Very! Check on hsn plus she has her own website where she sells products!
She was a model and created her own line of cosmetics as she wanted something easy on the skin that offered a really pretty natural look. That's most of the philosophy behind her products. Flawless finish with a natural look to them!
